Comment: Excellent sushi spot and so much more! Came for lunch (they have awesome lunch specials) we got the avocado bomb appetizer, highly recommend! I also ordered the veggie pho it was a huge portion and so yummy! I had enough to take some home for later. Also my fiancé order the filet mignon hibachi, and said it was delicious! This is a great spot for lunch it wasn’t too busy, and the staff is super attentive.

Comment: We went for my daughters 8th birthday. Mikado made it very special for her from the wait staff to the cook. Food is amazing and the prices speak for themselves. You get over what you pay for. For a hibachi of ten people it took 2.5 hours for us to get served fed and desert with a show in all of that. Food keeps hitting the plate and flying in the air. The only thing that could make it better would be sound suppression boards on the ceiling and giving another foot of space between walls and chairs. Highly recommend to all otherwise.

Overall I am happy with how management handled the situation.If you care about having more then two feet between you and other maskless strangers then DONT come here. We were seated for hibachi and had another party sat right next to us not even a chair between us. Our party had to re adust our table twice to make it comfortable. If your at risk looking for at least a few feet from a stranger eating next to you dont go here. Pre pandemic ok, post pandemic no socal distance between other customers.

The chicken hibachi is yummy & I love the different dipping sauces that come with it while dining in the mochi is always delicious and perfect for an end of the meal treat. My mom is inlove with the crispy salmon entree. Overall love this place and will still go because it’s delicious. My problem is with takeout, ordered the hibachi takeout expecting the sauces again, asked before leaving if there were sauces in there and the girl “checked” that there was. I went home and my $22 meal had no sauces. I serve and work with take out, it’s not that hard to check I understand people forget or it may be busy but I voiced my concern about being left sauceless. I don’t want to be the person that unbox their order just to check for sauces before leaving. Regardless I love the food and the service when dining in is always amazing.

Comment: One of the broadest menus Ive seen at an Asian restaurant anywhere in the greater capital region. Japanese, Korean, Thai, some Chinese. And unlike some of these places, everything seemed really good! Like they picked the best of each. Ambiance is stylish, fun. and bustling, without feeling crowded. I ordered a Korean fried chicken, which was so much more than the name implies. It came with a delicious sauce, some vegetables, and a house special fried rice.In general, when coming back from the Adirondacks or Lake George, try stopping in Glens Falls rather than Saratoga, you will be pleasantly surprised by this little city. This restaurant and a number of others are range from cool to cozy, the buildings on the strip are classy, and there is a nice piazza style park there.

Comment: I have had the personal experience of eating here on several occasions and find the food amazing. Everything is cooked to perfection. My favorite thing is that the vegetables are tender but still have a slight snap to them. The hibachi tables are a great way to gather with family and friends to have a good time and a great meal. The chefs are extremely skillful in their food preparation and are true showmen. You will definitely not leave hungry.

Comment: All I had was the fried ice cream for $6, I got the green tea flavor, it was pretty good, I couldnt eat the whole thing, it was basically 4 portions, so it was worth the money. Comment: We are from out of town and always try different hibachi places along our travels. Even though they were busy the wait was very short. We ordered sushi and the waiter was kind in warning us they may be a while since they were very backed up, it didnt take nearly as long as he thought and they were well worth the wait! The sushi was exceptional quality, with a well balance of flavors and uniqueness. The hibachi was pricey but the quantity of food made up for it. We really enjoyed all the variety in meats. The only downside was the extra charge for the fried rice but it was very well made. Definitely one of the better hibachi experiences we have ever had.

Comment: The hibatchi chef put on a wonderful show and had everyone laughing. The kids enjoyed it so much they want to go back for my daughters birthday next week. Food was excellent and portion sizes leave you with plenty to take home. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We hadnt been since they moved onto Glen Street. Definitely an improvement from their South Street location. The inside is much larger, with more hibatchi grills and seating. We will be going back soon.

Comment: We just moved to glens falls and found Mikado on Glen street. We ordered many of their sushi rolls the other night. It was a horrible snowy day. But Mikado was open and their sushi rolls were absolutely amazing. We have Celiacs and so they made sure it was all safe. They make their wasabi with corn starch so we were able to eat it. Everything was amazing. The fish was so wonderfully fresh and flavorful. Even the eel was delicious. We cannot wait to go back. We expected others who cancelled because of the snow, we had too much. It was still delicious the next day. Really recommend the spicy scallop roll - it was our favorite. If you ever had a bad experience with eel, know the eel at Mikado was so tender and flavorful that I could not believe eel could be so delicious, but it was. Did I mention it was great. We are so relieved to have such good sushi a few blocks from our house!

Comment: Quick service, pleasant staff, and most of the food was great -- a few sushi rolls, clear soup, salad, fried rice, and noodles were all quite good. A nice environment with two hibachi tables and then a chic little sushi bar area.Sadly the hibachi filet mignon was so over-seasoned with soy sauce that I had to drink water after each bite to get the overwhelming soy sauce out of my mouth. A pretty big disappointment after such good food leading up to it. The waitress asked how the food was, and I mentioned all of this, but she shrugged it off and it went no further. Overall though, a nice place and I suspect that the chef was just having an off-day. Would certainly try again someday.
