Comment: This spot is a heavenly hole in the wall. Perfect for locals that want a nice vibe and great Japanese food. Everything was cooked to perfection and the decor is lovely. I tried hot sake for the first time and while its an acquired taste, i appreciated how it prepared me for the rest of the food/drinks. I came here on a last minute whim with a friend and well definitely be returning.Come here after work for a nice drink and some sushi rolls or plan to celebrate an event, its appropriate for both!

Comment: I noticed the restaurant with its red sign and door a few months ago and have been wanting to check it out. My husband and I went on a Friday night and it wasnt too crowed. The front of the restaurant has a chill intimate vibe. They also have a back area thats enclosed and speakers modern zen. The waiter and waitress were very welcoming. I had a hot sake and we quickly ordered some Karaage Chicken, Shrimp Tempura and Large Salmon sushi flight. OoooEeeeeeMmmGggggg!!!! Chicken was flavorful but not overpowering. The tempera was so fresh not too greasy and the shrimp was so fresh. The sushi flight - so fresh!!! We actually ordered 2 rounds of the same items. This place is a hidden gem in the neighborhood you have to try!!! My husband and I will be going back soon!! Good vibes and amazing food!!

Comment: Theres so many great things to say about this establishment. Lets start with the ambiance. The atmosphere and brand new decor made the restaurant very chic and clean. I definitely didnt feel like I was in the Bronx, but in a traditional sushi restaurant in Tokyo, Japan. Not to mention, I was met with excellent and attentive service.The food, absolutely delicious. I ordered...Avocado/Shrimp Spring Rolls, which was a good portion and really tasty.Karaage Chicken, definitely not your traditional boneless chicken tenders, which had a very unique and savory flavor with a touch of Japan.Shrimp Tempura was crisp, juicy, and tender. Mixed with their soy sauce, a very tasty appetizer.Minato Roll... I have to say that this was the dish that stole the show. Im not traditionally big on sushi, but this meal definitely opened and expanded my taste buds. The combination between the crab salad and Chilean sea bass, with the drizzled sauces and hint of wasabi. Chef kiss. 🤌🏾❤️My overall experience was an excellent one, and I will definitely be a frequent guest. 🙏🏾

Comment: Answered prayers, and we have waited a long time for this. Finally a place in the South Bronx that serves fresh and delicious sushi. If you love sushi, you will be happy here...its the real deal and from a chef who knows what hes doing.The attractive and inviting bar is fully stocked with Made in Japan liquors (traditional and western style, e.g. Japanese made whiskey). Youll be hard pressed to find a wider selection of Japanese spirits anywhere else in NYC.
