Comment: So I went there before I looked at the review of this place. When I see people say its expensive or has bad hygiene, I think the opposite. Because when I was there they had clean tables and chairs. The place felt very traditional with statues and designs all over the walls. When people said it was expensive I felt it was cheaper because I live in New York City and one platter of sushi is actually around $20 and they dont even serve a lot. Also, I saw people talking about how long it took for their food it didnt take a long time the only thing that was bad was the lighting in my personal preference but everything was nice and I would recommend it to people who enjoy Chinese and Japanese food.

I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp and was surprised to see that it had skin on! The shrimp was huge but I was surprised they fried it with the skin, so all the flavor is on the skin which I dont eat. I wish that info was available in the description. Also ordered a crispy calamari/squid appetizer and the breading was REALLY salty, I can taste a a lot of salt on each ring.

Comment: Definitely one of the best spots for Chinese cuisine in Ithaca. They have two menu options, both Chinese and Japanese. Always make sure to suggest your spice levels for you order as Ive tasted their food a little bit too spicy. Im a huge fan of their dried beef with scehwan 🌶. Its not too crowded which makes it a good place to relax and have some great food. Make sure to access their free salad bar as well.

The menu is huge and everything on it is delicious. Theres a lot of seating and a bar at the far end. Its great for meals and just to grab some drinks and hang out. Highly recommend. Comment: I really, really, like their salad bar, which has carrots, olives, cucumber, croutons, and the best ginger dressing. This is one of the main reasons I go here instead of Sumo. Sumos salads are way too small, although their ginger dressing tastes better than Mitsubas since it is creamier. Mitsuba sometimes gives you a complementary appetizer, which is very tasty. Their staff is very friendly. They cook your food quickly. I am in and out in under 30 minutes usually. I do wish Mitsuba put more fried vegetables in their Binto boxes (such as long cut zucchini and mushrooms) like Sumo does.

Comment: Love the Volcano Rolls which they provide with every order. Also like that the salad bar is set up to serve yourself, its nice being able to customize the amount of dressing/veggies. They have a nice app too with specials and coupons for every 10th visit.

Comment: The sushi menu is extensive and incredible! The entrees are complex, aromatic, and authentic; the service is attentive and friendly; and ambiance is warm, relaxing, and hip: an all-around great dining experience!
