Comment: This place is great! I can’t vouch for any other dishes besides their sushi, calamari, and Veggie Tempura. But these, have always on point and one of the reasons we haven’t tried sushi from Red Samurai or Sumo yet. The calamari is delicious when they bread it themselves. A couple of times we got some that looked like the cheap frozen, store bought kind, but I’m guessing they just ran out of their own. Staff have always been friendly. I highly recommend this spot for a meal!

Everything was fine accept the waitress was very rude. Seemed like she didn’t want to be there and would walk away even if you were in the middle of asking a question. That being said, I dont get my hopes up when it comes to quality of fish or innovation when it comes to culinary creation. Well, Mitsuba threw me a curve ball. Their fish was surprisingly fresh, their dishes were inventive and their flavor combinations were on point. The eggplant appetizer, for instance, was not only tasty, it was served in a way I hadnt seen before. Id come back just for that! The cucumber wrapped sushi rolls are always a hit for me, but these kicked it up a notch with some nicely unexpected ingredients. Couple all that with nice service and a refreshingly mild cup of tea at the end of the meal and Im a happy man. My one quibble - maybe even outright complaint - was that the deserts were terrible. Straight up bad. The vanilla, chocolate and banana (at least we ordered banana - not sure what we got) were all doughy, greasy, tasteless messes. Overall, a delightful meal... just skip dessert.

Comment: One of my favorites. When ever Im working in the area I usually stop multiple times. Yes the rolls can be pricey but you truly pay for what you get. Everything is always fresh and the service is great. The menus also do an excellent job of describing what the rolls consist of.

Comment: Excellent!! I had the New Hartford Roll and the Mitsuba Lobster Roll, which were both phenomenal, and they also came with a couple additional shrimp pieces each. While waiting they also brought a free roll on the house. Everyone was very nice and curious, and the food came very fast.I would highly recommend this restaurant to all sushi lovers!

Comment: My husband and I were on our way back home to White Plains, NY and decided to skip the usual rest stop food and find something good. The wait staff was very attentive and gave us a delicious sampler of one of their rolls. Presentation of the food was wonderful; for ex., my miso eggplant had been pre-sliced. Salmon teriyaki was delicious as was everything else in the bento box. We didnt try the sushi, but everyone else around us was ordering it. Dessert menu included gelato treats such as a lemon gelato swirled together with limoncello, as well as the usual japanese dessert fare. Really nice atmosphere. Just a great place to go.

Comment: Came from Lotus Garden in Utica because of wait. Im glad that we ended up here! Very secluded and personal atmosphere. Heart shaped candles and dipping sauce. Got two dinner bento boxes and left full with more food than any other bento box Ive seen. Average price. Not too busy and they had at least 4 sushi chefs working quickly. We even received a complimentary Volcano roll. Would go back again if ever in the area!
