Comment: Our family was in town for leaf peeping season, and after a day filled with walking, it was nice to stumble upon this gem. Our party of 17 was able to get seated immediately around 5:30 pm on a Saturday. The staff was really accommodating and friendly. Service was great: food came out quicker than expected - considering that we had a lot to order.Overall, it was a great experience, and well definitely be back the next time were in town.

Girls weekend and we loved it.I arrived on crutches and the staff could not be nicer. My friend made a joke about my crutches being giant chop sticks. Comment: So far, this is the best sushi place for miles. Many places may have good fish but do not make the sushi rice properly. Mizu has both the best sushi rice and fish. Even the salad dressing is better than the other local sushi places. The Yaki Udon was also very tasty. Ambiance was relaxed. I will definitely return.

Comment: Came here to celebrate my anniversary after a lovely day touring the Vanderbilt house. We had the homemade dumplings as an appetizer- which was a DIVINE dish. So good that I ordered a second one. The sushi was wonderful as well- they had no rice sushi which was perfect for my diet. The kani salad wasnt my favorite but honestly the meal was wonderful, so I didnt care.The service was good and it was located in a newly made plaza. If we are ever in town again, we will be back!

They have dine in, delivery if you’re not that far and take out.I usually try to go once every few months and out of that experience maybe two or three times the soup was bland and the sushi didn’t have the flavor that it normally does but most times it is excellent.I would recommend ordering online if you’re going to do takeout.The few times that I did dine in, the atmosphere is very pleasant, you can hold a conversation without being overrun by the sound of the place and the staff are attentive.

Comment: I’ve personally never written a review previously for any place, Mizu deserves that distinction. Anything less than 5 stars would be a dishonest review. Every aspect of this fine establishment commands praise. The sushi is not just great relative to the Hudson Valley, but perhaps the finest I’ve enjoyed anywhere. That said, it pails in comparison to the people who run it. You will be hard pressed to find a better group of people, absolute class. The reviews left by others here rightfully speak volumes. But adjectives cannot capture the essence, you need to experience it yourself.Unfortunately I will be leaving this area for the foreseeable future. I felt it my duty and obligation to do what little I can and express my gratitude for the (possibly) hundreds of wonderful meals I’ve been fortunate to enjoy.I recommend the spicy yellow tail roll, king crab roll, and eel avocado. But no matter which direction you take your pallet, you simply cannot go wrong.

They were lovely through and through and the man who I believed was owner was beyond nice and all the staff were just so helpful! The food was BOMB! I haven’t tasted sushi of such quality in a long time. I kinda embarrassed myself on the way out because that’s how enthused I was with the privilege of eating at their establishment. Comment: I lived in the town my whole life and I feel comfortable saying this is probably the best restaurant in Hyde Park. Others have declined in quality or left so Mizu is a really good addition to the town.Never had a bad meal here, food is always beautifully prepared, fresh, and for the price you get a nice variety and quantity to your meal (lunch specials in particular). I will say I do NOT like sushi, and have always ordered the hibachi and teriyaki items so there is something for everyone here.Service is the best, they treat you like family and are very accommodating. My go to place in the town, highly reccomend
