Comment: They recently switch back to AYCE with cooked or prepared food. During our last visit they were serving mostly hot pot ingredients. Got plenty of choices. Tons of sushi and seafood options. No lobster at the time of visit, but they do have snow crab legs and stone crab crawls. They also have sashimi and live oysters. Dessert options are limited and the frozen yogurt taste more like sorbet.

While you are welcome to stay after kitchen closes to finish eating, they wont bring out any additional food since its their break time and they also have to prep for dinner service. Comment: This buffet is above average, as compared to most others in the area. I would recommend getting a broth, also known as a Shabu Shabu, to dip raw meats and seafood in. In particular, the fish, once cooked in the broth, was quite lovely. Additionally, the chicken wings were surprisingly good. They arent the best wings I have had, but the quality inside of a buffet, usually not maintained was, in fact, (mostly) maintained within all of the menu, except for the dessert. The dessert, however, is quite limited. The menu includes cake(vanilla, chocolate, carrot, red velvet), other baked goods(limited stock, low quality), and jello. Also, the ice cream is not in fact ice cream, but in actuality, it is frozen yogurt that tastes like it was from the supermarket, and those in charge just froze the mixture. There are only two flavors as well, strawberry, and plain yogurt/vanilla.

Comment: I thought I was living a good life, but after experiencing Mizumi, I am living a great life. It was our first time having shabu-shabu, and our servers recommended we get the Miso broth, as most Koreans tend to like it (we very much did). Not only was the shabu-shabu amazing and interactive, but the sushi buffet did not disappoint at all -- it was incredible I ate so much. The dessert and fruit were also all delicious. Ive never been to a buffet that hits all the marks, but Mizumi was the best ever, my family and I were absolutely floored. The 90 minute limit didnt even bother us as we got out just in time!

Comment: Though I do miss the pre Covid days where they had lychee sangria (no more, sadly!) it’s still a lovely place to grab all you can eat sushi and hotpot. Great combo if you’re into that. Everything is FRESH! No spoiled/wilted/limp food to be found, all freshly and beautifully made in a very clean environment. Workers are constantly cleaning, and wiping down surfaces, it makes my mind worry less. Great place to go for all you can eat! Sadly didn’t take any pictures, too busy eating!

Comment: Ive been to this location before they incorporated the hot pot options. Before there were more hot food options but now with all the hot pot ingredients theres much less options if you werent feeling hotpot. The hot pot meats were very frozen and couldnt break free with the plastic tongs.The hot foods they had there were good as always. And the sushi has variety and were tasty as well!Dessert options are super limited because of the sauce station being incorporated for hotpot. And frozen yogurt is dispensed in the machine which was pretty good.Many reviews complained about being rushed but we didnt get that at all. But DO note they close midday around 3pm for staff to take a break and to clean and reset.

The sauce bar here is excellent, with hard-to-find ingredients like the fermented tofu sauce, the leek flower sauce, Sichuan mala sauce, and seasoned ponyu soy sauce. Mizumi has a buffet section, very large sushi section and a nice assortment of items for the at table hot pots. They somehow manage to do a really good job at all three while keeping it stocked, clean and not crowded. We came for the great sushi but found out about the hotpot (which both could individually warrant the price). We went on a weeknight and had a short wait but nothing too bad. It was $35 per person and while high, is well worth the money (especially since nearby buffets charge $20+ for 1/10 of what this place offers). Well worth the drive and money.

Comment: Great sushi place. Quite an assortment of sushi and sushi-mi. They also have the Hot Pot at each table. It is all self-serve so the wait staff were OK. Super fresh, great assortment. Comment: This is mostly an AYCE hotpot place with sushi and a small variety of dishes to choose from the hot bar. I thought the dishes were decent for a buffet and had some good choices (e.g. deep-fried soft shell crab, sautéed crab on sauce, LA Kalbi, etc). Their sushi selection was also big on variety, but I think the rolls were lacking a little in both taste and execution. Several of my rolls fell apart and everything fell out to the point where I had to eat each filling separately. I also felt like several of them tasted similar without much distinction in palates between them.For the hotpot, I liked how there was a good selection of toppings to bring back to your table ranging from veggies, to seafood, to meats, to noodles, to fish balls, etc. One thing I wasnt too fond of was their sauces. They have a lot of unique housemade sauces, but I have my own particular hotpot sauce recipe and they were missing in some of those base sauces that I was looking for.Still, overall its good experience, especially if you can manage the long wait time, which could last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour.

Comment: 10/10, highly recommend! Ive lived within walking distance of Mizumi for the past couple of years now but it was just a few weeks ago when I finally made my first visit. I went during lunch rush-hour but to my surprise, the wait was barely five minutes. The server seated us and served us almost immediately with our hotpot base. Mizumi offers a wide variety of fresh meat, vegetables, and other small appetizers as well as a good range of deserts, including soft serve. The interior is nicely set up and its clearly meticulously maintained and cleaned. I will definitely be returning!

The grass-fed for Shabu Shabu is definitely a bonus. One waiter told us they also provide Wagyu beef at dinner time. We must come back again to check it out. Comment: Went today as a group of 4. We mostly ate the shabu shabu but had some of the cooked food as well. We ordered 2 dashi broths, 1 mizumi special both, and 1 mala broth. The staff was very polite and cleared plates quickly as well as give you plenty of extra napkins and refill drinks. I like that they have green tea to drink in place of just ice water.As for the food, there’s a good selection and most of the food is for the shabu shabu. There are 5 cuts of meat that you order with a worker who fills a plate for you. The amount you get does shrink after the 1st plate but it’s all you can eat so you can go back as much as you want.The seafood was fresh and having this plus the meats included in the dinner price is a great deal in my opinion. If you’re going for mostly veggies and noodles I would say there are other places that’ll be a better bang for your buck. But if you want that all inclusive with meat and seafood, I don’t think there’s a better shabu shabu option for you.Everything was clean and we all had a great experience. Not sure what all the recent bad reviews are about because I know we’ll definitely be back. Try it out and see it for yourself!

Seafood is always fresh here, and other sea products, such as seaweed, are well prepared so you wouldnt taste strong sea related fragrant. I do notice the quality of the sushi section has been coming down over the years. Especially the rice layers are getting thicker around the rolls. Pastry section was never a strong suit for this place. You can totally skip that one.

I mean countless items right at your finger tip.From sushi to wings to crabs to desserts.. ahhh sooo many goodies to choose from.HOWEVER; it wasnt the BEST of the best. It kind of starts tasting similar. I think mostly the sushi bar was a little let down for me.BUTTT do NOT let that stop you! You gotta give this place a chance. Its too good to miss out on.Oh and also, ditch the ice cream if you can. The green tea sort of tastes of tea mixed with icey. Wasnt much flavorful.

Comment: Extensive offerings for this all you can eat buffet. Sushi, sashimi, special rolls and seafood were all very fresh. Nice selection of gyoza, sliced beef, vegetables and fruit. The desert offerings are delectably amazing. Leaves you satisfied. Attentive servers. A nice night out.

Comment: What an incredible place to eat! For a sushi buffet, the food and assortment was high quality and diverse! Lots of different types of rolls. Lots of different meat choices, quality service. They do want you to leave after 90 minutes. We found that difficult as our group included 5 kids. BUT they were accommodating. Would definitely go back!

Comment: Their food taste high end and is relatively affordable considering. All-U-Can-Eat for 1.5 hours lunch or dinner. Highly recommend it to gluttonous sushi lovers. Although this place also has veggie sushi options, udon, fried food, and dessert for those who do not like raw fish. Their crabs are amazing.

Comment: Went for a Xmas Lunch $35. Its was a little chaotic as it became fight club to get to the uni and other specialty dishes. I lost out to the veterans of the establishment. Its all good, I was able to get my fill of food regardless. The servers were prompt and hungry crowd kept forming so they had to limit the time at the table to 1.5 hours. Food was delicious, Servers courteous and friendly. Very good Buffet spot.

Comment: A great buffet for a good AYCE sushi selection-everything is presented nicely, and they have sashimi cuts, multiple rolls (both standard and their own creations), and many types of nigiri. One disappointment I had was the lack of eel in the rolls- you pretty much have to go with the eel nigiri, which fills you up pretty fast. The lobster sushi roll looks impressive and is a must try but was kind of watery for me-the lobster meat wasn’t drained well. Those were my only gripes as the rest of the selection is fantastic, fresh, and tasty. The hot dishes: the succulent beef rib is a must get- I kept coming back for more between plates. The crab soup is tasty as well. I skipped the salad section, but the dessert cakes are cut into small enough pieces that you can try most of them without filling up. The hot food could use a bit more selection. The froyo was a bit disappointing- kind of sour, icy, and watery. All in all, a solid buffet.

The wait staff was friendly and helpful with surprising her with a birthday cake. The restaurant has a wonderful selection of hot and cold food. The desserts were delicious...my favorites were the green tea cake, tiramisu, and the carrot cake. The price was reasonable for a weekday dinner.

Comment: Its situated in an awkward intersection, and parking in the back, although ample, gets crowded quickly; thats always a good sign. The vibe inside is nice and modern. I believe its $35 for dinner per adult. For a buffet it may sound a bit much, but I think thats the norm these days for strictly seafood buffets. Alcoholic beverages are also served, a small Sapporo was $5.50.The sushi and sashimi are made right in front of you, and, if I was take a wild guess, there are probably two dozen to choose from; there are also osters on ice if thats your thing. They also offer a wide range of cooked items as well from soups to steak.I believe some of the sushi offered are too creative and overly sweet, but with so many to choose from I found plenty that I did like. I also enjoyed the dumplings and gyozas, and they were piping hot and not chewy. My only grief with Mizumi is theres a time limit to your dining; an hour and a half is how long youre allowed to stay--even if your appetite isnt met. Theres always a reason to the madness, the dinner rush was insane with dozens of people waiting for a table. Although I understand, its still disappointing.
