Comment: I have never dined in here, but the space is cozy and pleasant when I go to pick up food. I also haven’t done delivery, so can’t speak to that. I’ve been ordering from Mizuno since 2019 at least. Their sushi and food is consistently fresh and delicious. Picking up is fast and easy. The packaging for takeout is excellent and protects the integrity of the food and flavor. They are a hidden gem on Long Island. 100% recommend them to anyone.

Comment: Very intimate atmosphere. Its a small place but the food was fantastic and was freshly prepared. Lots of appetizers even for people who dont like sushi.. the edamame was great. Very healthy, too!They have a wide range of options or you can go with the Bento box which is about$20. The prices are very reasonable. The desserts are also fab! Overall, the restaurant was very clean and the food was fresh. Lots of parking in the back, too! We had a great experience! Great for date night or even to take the family. Jackie and her husband Ricki are wonderful people and run a beautiful restaurant that aims to please!

Comment: They have delicious food here. Im a fan of the dinner boxes, I usually go with chicken katsu and beef negimaki. Mizuno does both very well and I have never been disappointed. Id say its a little on the pricey side, but not too bad. I usually come to pickup my order, but the inside of the restaurant looks quite nice and I look forward to dining in soon.

Comment: Great sushi, reasonable prices, fresh fish. Mizuno has been one of our go-tos since moving to Merrick. We typically order a couple of specialty rolls and then round out our meal with the three roll special (pick any three, plus miso soup & salad all for $15).Most of the kitchen appetizers are good too if you’re looking for a few land based selections, but I found the sushi appetizers a little small for the price. For example, the salmon chalaca consists of four bite sized morsels of salmon & tuna wrapped around fresh mango slices...for $12. For that price, I’d rather snag another specialty roll or something more substantial from the kitchen.After some trial and error, we have a pretty generous shortlist of favorites here, chances are you’ll be happy here too!

Comment: The appetizers are amazing! Tuna cracker, Tuna dumplings and the Tuna pizza are all delicious. I am not even a sushi eater and these dishes are something I could eat every day. Luckily I live close by. The sushi portions are very large and the prices arent bad. This is my new favorite restaurant, it blows all of the other 5 star sushi restaurants I have been to on Long Island AWAY! The food is fresh and so, so good. Their sauces are very unique and they have something for everyone.
