Comment: Absolutely delicious food and hot sake, and a huge bonus that its close to home! The spider roll and shrimp lovers roll (mine) were fantastic! My boyfriend got the hhibachi combo with shrimp (I had a couple of bites and loved it) and scallops and the eel roll combo and said they were delicious too. The miso soup starter was tasty as well. Its a small place, it was comfortable, well lit and quiet on a Monday evening. Well definitely be visiting again.

Comment: As an Asian who lives upstate and deeply misses Asian food, this place is so refreshing and needed! The food is always delicious and reliable. The sushi is fresh and is definitely some of the best in the area. It is also rare to find a restaurant that is open past 9pm and operates most days of the week.The staff is wonderful and extremely kind. It is a family run restaurant, you can tell they work hard and care about their place.We need more Asian restaurants in Hudson Valley like these. Comment: My boyfriend and I first came here 5 years ago and all we remember is the food was great back then. Today after hiking at Mohonk, we decided to get lunch here and had a nice experience again. The Nabeyaki hot pot broth wasn’t very flavorful, but the tempura shrimp that comes with it was crispy and tasty. Steamed pork gyoza and sushi were delicious! We would definitely come again 🍤🍣🥟

Comment: First timer from LA!I havent had Asian food like that even in LA! The employees were so polite and easy to talk to. The environment was nice, though I opted for take out both times.The food is/was exquisite. Such attention to detail. The flavors in the broth of the vegetable soup. Wow. And the Vegetarian Dinner box for sushi was just fantastic! Theres a Buddha Roll with honey roasted peanuts inside. That was new, Ive never had something like that before and that was amazing!Highly recommend!

Im an Asian food fanatic, I appreciate great food. We tried appetizers, salad, dinners and this time, a Bento box. Good portions, process and flavor. Their sauces are unique and very good. Theres also comfort food for those who are not adventurous, also delicious. Their fried rice is especially delicious. I have a few food allergies, they were accommodating and got my orders correctly. I recommend Momiji.

Comment: I enjoyed the food here. The rolls were smaller in diameter than Im used to (more narrow) but that was made up for in length so basically the same, just different. If that makes sense. Essentially its just appearance thats different. The quality is great. Its fresh. You see it being made, as it should be. The chefs are skillful and quick and did a great job. Its a decent size dining room but there arent many tables. There is a sushi bar which we didnt sit at so I cant comment on the service there. The iced tea was green tea which is NOT brewed green tea leaf tea but has the tea still in the liquid. It was pleasant but not at all what I was expecting or really wanted. Very grassy tasting. If in the mood, it would have been wonderful. The service was odd. We were seated, orders were taken, and we were served right away. The bill however took 20 minutes to come after our dishes were cleared. And there was only 1 other table of 2 in the restaurant. This was very odd and slightly uncomfortable as we were ready to go and had other plans. There was no explanation as to the wait. Despite this the evening was pleasant and the food was good. Thanks for a nice time and good meal.

Most or all of the staff may not be from Japan, but this is still the best place within the Kingston, Rosedale, Stone Ridge and New Paltz area to get sushi. Some of the appetizers taste just like the ones I used to eat when I lived in Japan a year.

However, The waitresses were not very on top of things, and we waited a long time to order dessert and to get our bill. To be clear this was on a very slow night so it seemed weird. That being said, we cant wait to go again because the food is well worth the wait.

Although I do not recomend going between 11 and 12 durring school days as the High Medow school is right behind this location and the children walk over for lunch. Comment: When I worked in stone ridge I would go to lunch here pretty often. The sushi is good, probably the best on the 209 corridor between Kingston and New Jersey. Momiji has been in town for many years. Service is genuinely friendly and good most of the time. Recommended.
