Comment: What a friendly bunch of people and delicious I mean DELICIOUS FOOD. We got a mix of things - soup of the day, karaage salad, chicken katsu bowl, and shrimp tempura roll. All very tasty and for a great price too. My personal standouts were the karaage salad and soup. The chicken karaage was juicy and flavorful. Perfectly seasoned. And not to mention all the ingredients in my salad tasted so fresh! The soup of the day was mushroom soup. There were pieces of bacon in it which added a nice smokey flavor. The interiors are cozy and momos is the perfect place to stop by for a quick bite. Or if you want to take your meal out to the pier and eat by the water…what a romantic day! We made our way out to the water after and it was the perfect day filled with delicious comforting foods :)

Comment: This place is the best! I’ve had their chicken katsu curry and spam musubi. Solid flavors. I’m going to try their Kareage chicken next and then pretty much going through the entire menu after that! I’m so glad there’s finally some food options in this area!

Comment: While you would never think to look for a place where it is and you walk in you feel like you walked into a restaurants kitchen instead of the actual restaurant. However once you taste the food your mind is absolutely blown. Once you get your food the smell alone is making your mouth water. Then comes the actual taste and there is not enough words to describe it. By far one of the best tasting meals I have had. Connot wait to go back to try their other dishes.

Comment: We finally got a chance to visit Momo Test Kitchen on my Summer Friday since they are only open on weekdays.We tried their dressing before and it was refreshing. Chef Momose was also the founder of MOMO dresssing.We had their Vegetable Curry, Karaage Bento and Matcha White Chocolate Chip.It’s overall decent with reasonable price.

Comment: Small gem located in the Annex of the Brooklyn Army Terminal. Seating is limited but you can order take out and eat at the pier for a magnificent view of the waterfront. The curry is fragrant, delicious and freshly made. The chef and staff members are friendly and welcoming. Affordable prices for the quality of the meal!

Comment: Walking to the ferry, from the distance I saw a sign on the side of the building, “Japanese food.” I didn’t think much of it just thought it was odd—later to realize this authentic Japanese establishment existed!The owner and staff are so kind and hospitable. Food is well made and fresh.The chicken curry katsu was moist and comforting, and I loved the hint of sesame in the tuna sushi. The cream puff was structurally perfect and tasted delightful; it’s dense and super light and airy.There are some seating to eat inside. I really like that they separated the curry from the rice/katsu for take out—preserving freshness and preventing sogginess.

Comment: Everything at Momo is absolutely fantastic. The salmon teriyaki bento box is to die for with a rotating selection of delicious homemade sides. I order lunch daily from here, and everything — the sushi rolls, the rice bowls the sides, are all excellent. The staff is top notch This place has saved us all at lunchtime out at the Brooklyn army terminal.
