Comment: Momoya was an excellent dining experience! We were fortunately sat upstairs which has a lovely lounge feel to it with extremely comfortable velvet booths. The crispy spicy tuna is delectable and the sushi dinner combo (1 roll + 8 nigiris) is an excellent deal for the price. We split one restaurant week meal (9 chirashis) amongst 3 people and we were so so full by the end. Super friendly staff will definitely be coming back!

Comment: I had the restaurant week dinner menu with the wagyu steak and assorted sushi, as well as the wagyu crispy rice for appetizer. Everything tasted amazing, and the service was attentive. It did feel a bit crowded as the tables are very close to each other, but it was low key enough that I didnt feel I was intruding on someone elses space. Id definitely come back.

Comment: Theyre accommodating and we had a great deal with inKind and Winter weeks special menu. The interior is pretty; staff is professional. Love their wagyu beef with rice; a little bit smokey, very tender yet juicy meat, and perfect doneness. The sushi/sashimi option is quality as well. Our appetizer and roll isnt that impressive but its a great value for the money overall.

Comment: Modern, very clean, spacious and trendy atmosphere (but of course complete with a kitty clock with a waving paw in the background!). Not loud, not crowded. Friendly and attentive service, ensuring you are having a good experience. Fairly basic and limited offering of signature rolls - however plenty of other good options on the menu. Somewhat pricey though for what is offered, but not unreasonable. The Spicy Salmon and Mango roll is quite unique and good!

Comment: Ambiance is nice and pretty; the music they play is hip hop which adds a hipster vibe to the restaurant in my opinion. Personally I think some classical or soothing music would make the experience more elegant, but thats just my preference. Our server, Hime, and the rest of the staff were very kind and attuned, so service is definitely 5 stars. For appetizers, we got the following:Homemade tofu - the tofu was definitely silky but the flavor was lacking, where the bits of ginger ended up overpowering certain bites. The uni and shrimp did not really enhance the dish, and its quality was not that fresh.Awabi Shiogama Yaki (abalone) - very cute and gimmicky, where they break the salt crust in front of you. However, taste wise just remember that the uni encased within the salt crust is cooked too, which I personally didnt like but if you like cooked uni, maybe this is for you, since it does come with quite a bit of uni. The abalone has a nice bite to it but it didnt really have much flavor, so it was just okay and not really worth the price tag.Wagyu and uni soba - this was our favorite appetizer, for the uni cream sauce paired with the wagyu, uni, and soba perfectly, enhancing the high quality ingredients used to make it. The uni was also sweet and fresh, which surprised us since the uni that came with the homemade tofu wasnt. Highly recommend getting this appetizer. For our main we got:Miso black cod - this was delicious and the cauliflower rice and miso scallion sauce paired perfectly with the melty and meaty cod! Its rich in its flavor profile and everything tied together beautifully; a must-get in our opinion!Sukiyaki gozen - definitely flavorful with high quality A5 Miyazaki Wagyu beef and an abundance of fresh vegetables. The only suggestion I have is to serve it with an onsen egg for diners to dip the Wagyu in, like they do in traditional Japanese fashion, which would make the beef even silkier than it already is! The egg they serve is borderline hard boiled, which didnt really add much to it, but thats just my opinion and if you like hard boiled eggs, Im sure this dish would be perfect for you!For dessert:Seasonal Parfait - Koyo - an Instagram worthy dessert for its incredibly pretty and beautifully constructed! The interplay between its various pieces gives you a delightful experience of differing flavors dancing pleasurably in your mouth! It also comes with a description of what is what and a history lesson of the true meaning behind its creation! Highly recommend giving this a try if they still have it!Mille-feuille aux banana - very delicious without it being overly sweet; the cream was rich and light, and the banana was caramelized and moist! The hojicha ice cream paired it beautifully as well with its tea flavor to balance out its sweetness. Definitely cant go wrong with this if youre a banana fan!Despite the hiccup from two of the three appetizers, it was still a pretty good experience. Im hoping to give Momoya a five star next time I get the chance to come back!Appetizer - 3.5/5*Entree - 4/5*Dessert - 5/5*Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

Comment: Boyfriend and I came for brunch. We ordered the yuzu souffle pancakes. I liked the yuzu honey in the souffle pancakes, but the pancakes themselves were a little dense and cakey. Matcha French toast lacked texture - the bread was soggy. Food was ok, but the presentation was really pretty. They can make a lot of their drinks virgin/non-alcoholic. I really enjoyed my Lychee mocktail -it was refreshing, and it wasnt too syrupy or sweet.

Comment: The fish was definitely fresh, but was not show stopping. I thought I would love the fish since more $$=quality, but it was a letdown. If you do get one thing, get the spicy salmon roll. That was great, the best part of my meal. Service was good, but wouldn’t go back again for that one roll.

Comment: We indulged in a delightful Sunday brunch experience at Momoya, where the culinary journey was nothing short of extraordinary. The exquisite flavors of Japanese fluffy pancakes, Seasonal parfait, and French toast danced on our taste buds, offering a symphony of textures and ingredients. The desserts were a masterful composition, showcasing a harmonious blend of diverse flavors. Engaging with the executive pastry chef, Norie Uematsu, provided insights into her unwavering passion for crafting artisan desserts. Anticipation lingers as we eagerly await the chance to savor her upcoming creations.

Comment: Overall an enjoyable experience. Came for lunch, and ordered a beef tataki for appetizer, and beef sukiyaki and miso cod for main. Dishes were well flavored, although I found the regular rice (that I had asked to substitute for the cauliflower rice for the miso cod dish) not cooked well - dry and the grain quality didn’t seem very good. The miso cod was delicious though, tender and good balance of sweet and salty with the miso and soy glaze/ marinade. Well located in SoHo and the atmosphere is quite relaxed. Worth a try.

Comment: Momoya in SoHo is a Japanese restaurant that features traditional yet inventive Japanese cuisine. With two levels of beautiful eye-catching decor surrounded by windows, there’s some impressive city views of the busy intersection and historic church across the street. Their staffs are extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. We ordered a couple drinks and the cocktail, Mulled, literally tastes like Christmas. Hachi’s is the other drink that is super refreshing. Appetizers and entrees are fresh and delicious plated beautifully. Handrolls, sushi, and cut rolls are all excellent choices for that taste of Japan. Their sukiyaki looks amazing and taste just as good as it looks. Save room for dessert as their ice cream is so good that you have to try. Comment: Came for the weekend-only brunch. The matcha molten French toast had a very cute presentation and was perfectly subtly sweet. It came with whipped cream, red bean paste, and molten matcha in the middle of the bread. The sukiyaki had wagyu in it which explains the $35 price point. It came with pickled sides and a miso soup. The Brussels sprouts were nice and crispy with a sweet soy vinaigrette dip. The seasonal cocktail had sake, corn, and vanilla, which had a unique flavor that wasn’t too bitter nor sweet. The sushi was okay - not the best that I’ve had but also not the worst.

Comment: Yes Momoya had the hype already surrounding it and I had to see if it was worth it.The lunch bento was amazing and beautifully put together. I really enjoyed the amount of variety in the box as well. Everything was fresh and light. I felt full after but not grossly stuffed. The miso soup was also pretty good.I did make my friend come for Momoya for one reason and one reason only tho... THE PARFAIT. I loved the elegance and the details that were put into the dessert. The amount of textures and flavors that mingled with each other were fun, and also worked really well. The story and background to each parfait was also super cute.

Comment: This is one of my preferred sushi spots I’ve tried. The quality of the ingredients and the food truly shines in the taste. While the cost is a bit high (i spent about $85 per person before tip), it’s justified. The staff remained attentive throughout, despite the evening rush, ensuring a pleasant experience. We started with the yellowtail ceviche, which was delightful. We also ordered the spicy salmon and mango rolls, a definite recommendation. The crispy exterior paired with the sweet interior created a delightful bite. For our main course, we selected the sushi and sashimi tasting option from the sushi entree section of the menu. It provided a generous serving for two people and featured a variety of items, each explained by our waitress. We enjoyed nearly everything and definitely see ourselves returning when we crave top-notch sushi.

Comment: I came here for a Dessert Omakase last night. I had a perfectly great experience with the Chefs choices, tastings, service, and environment. I didnt expect to get full with the desserts but it def filled me up. I will surely come back for the sushi and regular desserts. They look amazing. The only minus thing here is the restroom - all gender, no privacy, and not clean enough. You (females) can be in the situation of sitting in the toilet inside and listening to people (males) chitchatting outside. Compared to the elegant and high-class of the front, the restroom can disappoint you. Ive been to some outdoor beer gardens, tho theyre restroom trailers only, theyre clean, spacious and private.Overall, the restaurant can be much better when having some renovations/upgrades at this certain point.

Comment: The food was actually quite good- I was surprised because of the location and overall vibe that the scene was more important than the food. Service was uneven - they seemed understaffed but the people were very nice and were trying hard. It’s very expensive, but I’m still obviously getting used to inflation.Just a reminder - it didn’t matter to me, but there’s no hard liquor because of the proximity to a church.

The chicken and a few side dishes were less favorable but the grilled eel was really good. The sushi entree box was mostly good if you like sashimi. The uni was really good and the roe. Comment: *Momoya BoxEvery table ordered Momoya Box, so we were determined to get one. It was a chef tasting of 9 mini Chikashi bowls at $65. The portion was perfect for sharing. The sushi rice was mixed with crabmeat so it was flavorful to eat by itself. Some bowls came with a perilla leaf, which gave a refreshing garnish when I wrapped the leaf around a piece of sashimi and dipped it in soy sauce. My fav was def toro as it literally melted in my mouth. The salmon with basil sauce was slightly torched and had a nice flavour of smokiness. The uni was so creamy and it complemented well when you mixed it with negitoro on the side. However, the tamago and shrimp ruined the harmony of the whole box — the shrimp looked faded and dry, while the tamago was even worse as it was more like a dried out sponge cake and had no egg flavour at all.* Seasonal Parfait - Haru RanmanHere’s the pinkest parfait you can eat before/after watching the Barbie movie. Honestly the best thing that happened to me lately. This sweet confection is def worth every bit of the hype.I was skeptical at first bc of the steep price ($28) and thought it was for Instagram only, but I was blown away by the aesthetics and the harmony of every ingredient. ‘Haru Ranman’ means ’spring in full bloom’ in Japanese. The parfait was artfully curated with diff shades of pink. They also provided an illustration card to explain every layer.Surprised that none of the treats was a miss! The red bean mochi was chewy and not overly sweet, the yomogi kinako macaron amazed me with the intense earthy flavor. It was enjoyable to sprinkle some sakura powder on the sweetened condensed milk and strawberry sorbet. They layered up the base with vanilla almond crunches, strawberry compote and lychee lemon jelly, which further created a decadent array of flavors.Quite overpriced tbh as you could probably get a 10-course omakase meal with the same price, but the whole experience was enjoyable. I may not go back for their sushi dishes, but I will keep an eye of their next seasonal parfait. It is overall a classy and trendy spot for special occasions.

Comment: If you listen to anything on these reviews… listen to this: don’t skip the dessert. Heck, come for just the dessert if you really want.I was walking around Soho after a day of shopping, and found this magnificent gem of a place. With its phenomenal sushi and mind blowing dessert, I am shocked that this is not blown up on every social media platform. Luckily for us (yeah, you’re on this ride now too) we found the spot that will put a smile on your face from ear to ear. If you like sushi, good drinks, and mine blowing desserts don’t skip on Momoya Soho.

Comment: The service was top notch. Friendly, professional, attentive and informative. They truly set a standard. The sushi was fresh and enjoyable. But the star was the dessert. I ordered the seasonal parfait and it was like and interactive treasure chest of textures. It was so fun and tasty to eat. My friend didnt like it but I loves it. It you like Asian treats then youll love it too. Highly recommend.

Comment: My friends and I initially wanted to go here for brunch, but that didnt fit in our trip itinerary, so we made dinner reservations instead. The place was pretty packed when we arrived. There wasnt much space on the tables nor between guests. Would not recommend if you have claustrophobia. We ended up ordering the Momoya Box and Shokado Bento Box! The Momoya Box contained 9 Chirashi bowls, which were pretty solid. The ingredients were fresh, and the rice was cooked and seasoned well. The Shokado Bento box wasnt bad, but I preferred the Momoya Box and thought it was of better value. However, while the food was pretty enjoyable, the service was lacking. We had different waiters throughout the night. We asked for waters, but we never received them until we flagged down another waiter. We were given our checks, but we didnt receive our desserts yet and had to remind the waiter. The hostess at the front was pretty nice though.

Comment: Went there right at the restaurant open. The host was very nice and seated us even before our friends got there. We ordered Momoya box which was $65. Tbh, it was worth the money! Most of 9 mini bowls were delicious. The only thing was I felt like the uni on the top of one bowl wasn’t fresh (I’m a huge fan of uni, so I kinda know it). The seasonal dessert was great. We love the decorations and it wasn’t that sweet. Lastly, the waiter that day was super friendly and his service was above and beyond. Will come back again for sure!

Comment: I came here primarily because of the seasonal parfait - Haru Ranman, that I saw on Instagram! The amazing food and service made it even better!Atmosphere, we sat outdoors but its decorated very nicely and they also have heaters which helped since it was a bit chilly out. Our server, Charles, was awesome! He went through the menu and explained everything and what were the house favorites.I loved the recommendations, the Tuna Tortilla was so delish! My sushi was so good as well. My sis got the bento box, she loved the salmon and the mushroom tempura and Waugh pieces. They have happy hour 5-6, I absolutely loved my drinks!I highly recommend this place and definitely come would come back to try other items off the menu.

Comment: Momoya Soho is the place to be for weekend brunch! We made a reservation for 1 pm and we’re seated promptly. I loved the high ceilings and furnishing but it is slightly cramped when it comes to seating. They also have outdoor seating which is great as the weather gets nicer! We ordered:🔸lychee mocktail (all cocktails can be made into mocktails!)🔸 strawberry basil mocktail🔸 jidori shiyo yaki (grilled chicken thigh)🔸yellowtail ceviche🔸Momoya box🔸matcha molten French toastTheir mocktails were refreshing and tasty, pairing perfectly with our meal. The salad that came with the Momoya box had the best dressing I’ve had in a while with a hint of ponzu sauce. Chicken thigh was grilled perfectly - crisp skin, tender meat with just the right amount of seasoning. Yellowtail ceviche tasted more of fresh yellowtail with some sauce - still very tasty bc of the fish quality. The Momoya box was everything I wanted and more. 9 mini chirashi bowls were perfect for sharing between myself and my friend. It was the highlight of our meal!!!!We initially came for their yuzu pancakes but were informed that their machine was broken and they could only make 2 pancakes at a time with an hour + wait time so we opted for their matcha molten French toast. It was the last to arrive with about a 40 min. wait. The toast was made perfectly with a nice crust and soft inside and the ooey gooey matcha that poured out as you cut in. We wished they had buttered the bread a little bit more but overall we loved the mochi and azuki paste on top with the toast! (Also their azuki past was soooo smooth! Hard to come by!)Overall, amazing brunch experience! Definitely want to come back for their pancakes and parfait! Their omakase counter was packed as well which piqued our interest! Definitely make a reservation before coming!Check out my foodsta @chiuventure for a closer look and more details of my dining experience here as well as other establishments in NYC and around the world!

Comment: It was good. Place is nice. Server was attentive. Honestly this was probably a 1 and done for me. The food was good and flavorful. If you are looking for bigger portions, this isnt the place. The drink I must say, wasnt quite worth it. And the one dessert that I came for, the seasonal parfait, they ran out of. So I went with something else. I usually dont send back food, but man those flavors for the creme brulee did not work for me. Thankfully I wasnt charged for it.

Comment: Overall, Momoya SoHo was fantastic. The space is gorgeous, the food was stunning, and the service was good.Drinks: not a huge selection, and not a full bar, but the sake cocktails were tasty. I recommend the Orange Jalapeño one.Apps: the Crispy Rice Tuna was as good as any I’ve had. If I had one complaint, the rice was maybe just a smidge too crispy.Sushi: The Chirashi Box was one of the most beautiful dishes I’ve ever seen. 9 mini Chirashi bowls, all of which highlighted a different fish. Truthfully, I wouldn’t order it again. But as a sushi lover, I’m glad I tried it (I’ve never had anything like this). On the side, the pieces of toro and yellowtail nigiri on were incredibleDessert: the Seasonal Parfait was the most stunning dessert I’ve ever seen. It looked so good that we were afraid to eat it. And while I’d normally never order something like this, I cannot recommend it enough. The different flavors and textures, not to mention the literal story that comes along with it, made for a truly epic dessert.

Comment: Delicate food and excellent service!Surprised to find this amazing restaurant in Soho! Will recommend to all my friends! As a party of 2, we ordered 1 starter, 2 sushi rolls, 2 entrees and 2 deserts. For the starter we had the wagyu tataki and it tasted like silk. The added tomatoes and, I guessed it should be negitoro, strengthened the tenderness of the wagyu. A must try dish.We ordered the crispy rice roll and also the spicy scallop with shrimp roll. Personally I preferred the latter one, cause the carefully added spicy flavor reflected the sweetness of the scallop and shrimp. The only regret is I haven’t ordered more.We had the Chirashi and Una Ju Don as main courses. Both are great. After that we enjoyed the dessert with crème brûlée and the ice cream of clementine flavor. My friend claimed the dessert were even better than the rolls. Just wonder how they can master both Japanese cuisines and desserts as well.We were served by a warm-hearted waiter who kept helping cups refills. He always carried a smile face and made our meal even better. The restaurant was decorated in Tiffany blue and in the typical modern style, yet you could still find a long counter table with chefs behind it preparing for the solicitous food. Amazing combination of contemporary ideas with traditional Japanese sense. Wonderful.

Comment: We ordered the sushi lunch, suki yaki gozen & bento box. The sushi was extremely disappointing for the price & they added wasabi inside the sashimi pieces and yellowtail roll w/ out mentioning it on the menu. Fish quality seems below average for price but the suki yaki gozen and dessert was very good! + the atmosphere and presentation is beautiful despite mediocre sushi.

Comment: This place was phenomenal in terms of food and customer service! I and may party all got variants of the sushi meals, 2 of us got the sushi and sashimi platter, one person got the sushi special, and my partner got the sushi lunch. All of the sushi and sashimi offerings were super fresh and tasty and the presentation was lovely! My partner also got the Yuzu Ricotta soufflé pancake and she thoroughly enjoyed it. On top of that the two ladies in our party of 4 got the lychee cocktail which is a sleeper of a drink if one ever did exist because it tasted like straight juice. Then I got the Suntory beer. The ambiance of the restaurant was very bright and fresh and there was a lot of aquamarine color tones in the restaurant mixed with white which made the restaurant feel super crisp and refreshing if that’s even a way to describe interior decoration. Would definitely come back!

Prices are decent if youre going for good Japanese seafood.Momoya was strongly recommended by my well traveled friends and it did not disappoint. Our favorites were the uni, unagi, ikura (salmon roe) for the sushi. One of our friends suggest this place and she said even the price is higher, but the food and service are great. We just walk in without reservation; we got a table at the end outside of the restaurant. All of appetizer was small potion but delicious. Our meal is Sushi /Sashimi tasting PRICEY! Crispy Rice Roll, Yellowtail Ceviche, Bottle of red wine Smith Chapl for $110 so we ended up paying over $15x each for 3 people for this meal.Pricey but service was good with quality food. Comment: This is a hidden gem, unexpected near Little Italy. The staff is great, the space is a little tight. The food is phenomenal! Every dish is made to perfection. It is mild and clear flavored as Japanese food should be. The presentation is fantastic. Few Japanese restaurants offer this flavor of experience in NYC. We ordered miso soup, wagyu tataki, miso black cod, and a lamb skewer dish. Paid $70/person. The portions do run small. So go here for a lighter meal or be prepared to order more dishes (higher bill). I can see myself going regularly here.

Comment: Fabulous experience w/great service. Food and dessert was delicious! As it is a Japanese restaurant, I thought that sushi would be special, but the weekend brunch menu was really tasty at a level not found anywhere else. We had sushi & sashimi combo, matcha molten French toast, yuzu ricotta souffle pancake. Everything tasted soooo good and the plating and decoration was unrealistically beautiful. The highlight was a seasonal parfait. Must try!!! It looked amazing, but the taste was even more fantastic. I’m already very curious about the other season’s parfaits. I’ll go back soon to try other brunch and dinner menus!

Comment: This place has gorgeous ambiance and the desserts are an absolute delight. I was amazed at how well made they were, especially the summer parfait, which had such an incredible variety of ingredients, flavors, and textures that still harmonized perfectly. This was a dessert on par with Spot and other really premiere dessert places in the city!

Comment: An incredible meal and the kind that you will come back for again and again and again. Momoya Soho 🖤 served sushi better than the Zuma’s of the world. You will not be disappointed.

Comment: Great experience from the quality of the food to the ambiance to the service. I went two days in a row, for lunch and brunch. The Shishido peppers were a surprising winner.

Comment: I went through pages of Japanese restaurants before narrowing it down to this one for my trip to the city. Japanese is one of my favorite cuisines and something I’m willing to spend a lot of money on. This 4-star review is solely for how good the food is because my service experience was very subpar. When I’m trying a new place I appreciate having a server that is very knowledgeable of the menu and can give me genuinely good recommendations and maybe be at least a little personable? I’m not sure if our server was new but they didn’t seem to know much about what they were serving us and would literally just mumble and trail off in the middle of describing a dish which was odd to me. We found ourselves watching another server at another table wishing that server was ours because she was visibly delivering a better experience for her table. My single service experience aside, the food was phenomenal, everything we ordered. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the potato salad had such amazing textures that complemented each other and was topped with the most beautiful soft boiled egg I’ve ever seen, the tuna tortilla was refreshing and bright, the crispy rice was so perfectly crispy and delicious, the sushi rolls were unique and fulfilling, and their summer parfait for dessert had so much going on - I loved every bit of it, it was like an interactive dessert where you could deconstruct and taste each individual component (as a dessert chef, it was truly so much fun and I love that it changes seasonally).

Comment: Gotta get brunch at Momoya Soho for that matcha lava french toast!! Their signature crispy spicy tuna roll did not disappoint, the uni soba and the sushi and sashimi combo were great. A nice meal option for the summer to cool off in the bustling Soho neighborhood.

Comment: My experience at Momoya SoHo took me beyond my expectations. This new location is very close from Prince Station, and showcases an Architectural environment. The minimalist decoration, with intricate objects accentuates the beauty of the food presented.Every Momoyas associate that I had the opportunity to connect, shared knowledge about their menu, and high quality costumer service. My guests, and I had delicious appetizers to start of the night. Special highlights on Wagyu Crispy Rice, and Kumamoto Oysters. The OMAKASE is such a delightful, and indulging experience.High quality, and dynamic selection of sashimi. Our server mentioned some of the fish arrived ALIVE, from JAPAN in that morning!Personally, the STAR of the evening is the SUMMER PARFAIT!Presentation is 10/10, and Flavors are 11/10! Beautiful mix of textures, contrasting matcha, and delicate fruits.Thank you Momoya Soho, and Gib for hosting such a delightful night!Looking forward to try more of your iconic sushi, and desserts.Best vibes,Leonardo

Comment: I think this is not just the best sushi I’ve ever had but one of the best lunch experiences I’ve ever had. And I’ve been around for quite some time now. Definitely recommend sitting at the sushi bar and trusting the head chef with the Omakase experience. Very special Sake experience as well. Thanks so much guys.

Comment: Wonderful new Japanese restaurant in Soho. Highlights included seared salmon belly and tuna avocado salad. Of course sushi and sashimi were top notch and melted in your mouth. Service was a quite slow due to shortage in staff.

Comment: I often dined at the UWS location, but am beyond thrilled about this new location which is so much more convenient to where I’m located now. My mom and I made reservations for Saturday brunch and upon arrival, were greeted by the most friendly and attentive staff and servers. The restaurant is beautifully lit with natural sunlight and has a clean, crisp vibe. Seating is also comfortable and spacious. The brunch menu has a good selection but the dinner menu is also made available during brunch hours if you want more options. We opted for the matcha molten French toast. To my surprise, the molten matcha chocolate offered the right amount of sweetness with no trace of bitterness. It was delectably paired with dollops of red bean paste, vanilla whipped cream, and adorned with edible florals and mochi. We also ordered the chirashi. The fish is just as I remembered—fresh and of high quality. There were pieces of diced shiitake mushrooms between the fish and rice that added depth and subtle richness to the dish. It simply was delicious, and definitely one of the best chirashi bowls I’ve ever had.Portions were satisfying and left my mom and I comfortably full. I can’t wait to return to experience the omakase menu next time!

Comment: Love this new Momoya location. I’m a big fan of their place in Chelsea so I was excited to try this one out. We went for brunch and the menu had good brunch options and sushi options. The matcha French toast was divine! Excellent selection of sakes. The space is full of light. Cant wait to go back and try the Omakase menu.

Comment: If you want great Omakase in a beautiful and friendly environment, look no further. Really enjoyed their Omakase - fresh, delicious sushi followed by Instagram perfect dessert, sake selection by an amazing sommelier Leo (pictured), and friendly attentive service in their beautiful airy space.Im normally a cocktail drinker (as well as wine) and was never a big fan of sake. However, that has changed because of their amazing sake curation and how Leo tells stories and flavor profiles of each sake. Thats what I drink when I go to Momoya SoHo.In short, love this place and highly recommend!

Comment: My friends and I recently dined there, and we were blown away by the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. The waitstaff was incredibly knowledgeable, and was attentive to all of our needs. The sushi was some of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m still dreaming about the crispy rice! This is a perfect place for a celebratory dinner, or a low-key night with friends. Can’t wait to go back!

Comment: Omakase for $150 includes 17 courses from the newest Momoya in Soho. Opening this week, this location includes a 12 seat Omakase bar from veteran chef Wataru Mukai — the quality here is phenomenal and the atmosphere is extremely lively. Highlights included both Hikarimomo, the aged toro, and Nodoguro. The soft opening was completely packed so we expect this to be a tough reservation, highly recommend
