Comment: Sushi chef was heavy on the fish. Staff were adorably kind. Place is small and neat. Most decent sushi place in the entire neighborhood.I got the salmon dinner and an uni sushi. It comes with a side of either miso soup or salad. I could not finish it and had a cute little to go box for my leftovers.Price is a bit steep since I chose a moderately expensive dish plus the uni which was market price. There are more affordable options on their menu.

Comment: Edit: I love this spot so much, such amazing local spot. they now offer a full salmon plate that tastes even great in take out 😭 please give this place your business, it is so good I got back on here to update my review. also PHENOMAL prices!!!even the to go is amazing, the staff are wonderful and it’s so nice to have great sushi for a good deal so close to me! thank you so much! Comment: Sushi and sashimi were a lot better than expected! And with a name like Mr. Sushi, I wasn’t expecting much tbh. Maybe if it was a Dr. Sushi …Got the sushi boat for 2 and one complementary dish of white fish tempura. The sashimi was fresh and the sushi rice was well seasoned. The boat was also nicely decorated. Overall, $60 for two people was good value! Would come back again.Knocked the restaurant down a star because the chairs are giant inverted muffin tins and they have no back support and are really uncomfortable. Nothing on the food.

Comment: The experience was rlly good, my favorite was the scallop sashimi, shrimp tempura(super crispy it amazing), beef fried rice, sashimi, and the tempura cheesecake. It comes down to preference but it’s the freshest sashimi I’ve had in a while and the service was relatively quick. It’s a small place with limited seating but five people were seated right away! Def recommend and decor is cute. It was a lot cheaper than expected too. $200 for five people and we were all stuffed and went home with leftovers. Will be coming back with other people fs.

Comment: We found this place on one of our walks. They had just re-opened for dinner at 430pm, so we had the place to ourselves. The service was great, the food was delicious and fresh and fast! It made for a wonderful experience. As we were leaving, it was filling up a bit more, and we did see the service remain as attentive...good job!

Comment: 10/10 recommend! Service was amazing and the food was delicious! I had the shrimp tempura rolls which was absolutely out of this world. Best shrimp tempura I have ever had. It was a sweet coconut taste which I loved & the fried rice was also great. The overall experience I loved! They also handed balloons for kids and roses for adults for Valentine’s Day! Super cute and made the experience that more special. Definitely coming back!

Comment: Mr.Sushi is my go-to sushi take out place in the neighborhood. I’ve probably ordered from them over 15 times by now and each time has been amazing. Their quality of fish is great; much better than other sushi places in the area. I also believe that they have good prices for what you get. They are never stingy with their portions. I’ve never been disappointed with Mr. Sushi.

Comment: Wonderful place, delicious food and a great service!!. After a long day at college I visited Mr. sushi for dinner, great atmosphere and excellent food. First, they offered fried salmon on the house!! It was so tasty and yummy, afterwards I had the spicy shrimp roll and the chicken teriyaki, it was delicious!! Highly recommended!! Don’t forget to order the mochi ice cream, I have never tried something like that before it was from a another planet!! I will definitely comeback to Mr. Sushi 🍱

Comment: Had a great experience at this newly opened restaurant (June 2022). Service was excellent and the food even better! We started with the eel sushi (nigiri) and 2 orders of sashimi - tuna and salmon, all really good but the salmon was outstanding. Then had 2 special rolls that I must recommend: Thunder roll (shrimp tempura, avocado, lobster, eel) and Ridgewood roll (fried soft shell crab, cucumber, spicy tuna, avocado). Can’t wait to be back! So we came back. This time the tuna sashimi was unreal, so tasty and fresh. As for the rolls we ordered what now became our favorites: Angel and Queens, please order those, you won’t regret.

Mr sushi Japanese restaurant is a place I would highly recommend. Good place to sit down. Restaurant looks beautiful. This place just opened up and everything looks brand new. Owners are nice and welcoming. Staff is very friendly and professional. If you pay cash for takeout they will give a discount of 5 percent upon request. I love the spicy salmon roll its delicious. The presentation is beautiful the sushi looks very yummy. After a few times I realized this place is awesome and its my favorite sushi place. When you sit down to eat you are greeted and treated very nicely. The ladys that serve are very nice and attentive. The tables are nice and neat. They offer hand sanitizer at every table. The restroom is very clean and tidy. I love how clean it is. I noticed when you eat in the restaurant as a gesture of appreciation for your business they provide a delicious complimentary appetizer. I received the fish tempura and it was delicious. Service is great and food is great.

Comment: I’ve been having my eye on this place and walked passed the construction wondering when it will open. Thankfully it did and let me tell you I will and intend on going back. First, the food tasted so good when I received my dish and along with my friends to. I didn’t expect the plate to be so big but it was so different and I loved it so much, you can just tell there holding themselves highly on meal presentation. Not to mention the quality of food tasted so fresh, when I bit into my yellowtail sushi the taste was so good. I don’t know if it was the easy going environment, enjoyable music choice or the politeness of the staff but the experience was amazing. Not to mention their dessert is to die for I had the fried ice cream (chocolate) and it was so light and fluffy with every bite. If your looking for some great food at reasonable prices for the quality and presentation, I highly recommend Mr. Sushi. Special shoutout to the girl server who helped my friend open her Japanese soda that she ordered. Thank you so much and I can’t wait to eat here again!
