Comment: Took my son for his 6th birthday. He had a great experience. My husband and I ordered the hibachi shrimp, scallop, and lobster. It was flavorful and well priced. The only thing that annoyed me is they kept asking us to order something to drink after we said no. Literally, 5 different waiters came over. Not sure if this was hospitality or a ploy to make more money. But overall a good experience.

Comment: We love Mt Fuji jut a few suggestions … Please ask the waitstaff to wait until we are absolutely done before clearing our plates. if we put it on the edge of the table we are done and you are welcome to remove it. Reaching across our table while we are EATING to remove an empty soup bowl is unacceptable. If we need something we will ask for it. Having multiple people ask if we’re good is a little stressful while trying to enjoy a meal. One waiter who knows where we’re at during our meal would be great. Too many people doing the same job at the same table just doesn’t work.We love the food. have been going here since inception. Food is amazing atmosphere as well. Lychee Martinis as well. AMAZING.just please stop coming to the table so often. Love you Mt. Fuji

Comment: Superb first visit. Loved that their hibachi comes with both soup and salad. We had a few special rolls - Red Eye Dragon and Out of Control were superb. Kids gobbled their California and Alaska rolls. The hibachi came with free fried rice, and optional noodles. Scallops, shrimp, and filet mignon were cooked perfectly - tender and seared. Would love to come again.

A soup I had today was essentially a bowl of warm water - literally zero flavor so I couldnt even tell you what it was so you can avoid it. Maybe it was water from the sink and they intended to wash the bowls... either way my party got three bowls of it that we left untouched. When offered soup or salad here always choose salad.

Comment: I liked this place. It is small though and you need to make a reservation. The food was excellent and included fried rice if you did the Hibachi which I appreciated. Our chef wasnt the friendliest but he did entertain and kept our kids engaged. The managers were very helpful in ensuring our large 10 person party was seated and had our own table. The waiter ensured that the person with allergies at our table was taken care of properly as well and took all percussions to ensure their mea was prepared properly. We may come back if we are int the area again!

Comment: This will be our third time here. Only difference is we came for a party in which the party took over the entire restaurant and it was pretty amazing. The staff didnt skip a beat. The party was for a Communion and a table was set just for the kids alone one of them being my daughter.......she was ecstatic about being there not only to celebrate her friends day but to be at her own Hibachi table like an adult and treated as such. I could only imagine how the other kids felt. The food was just as good as.when weve dined here as a family of 3 as now a group of over 50 adults. Great job !

Comment: I took my Girl Scout troop to My Fuji in Wantagh tonight for Hibachi and had a wonderful experience. I spoke to the gentleman who works there a few days prior to arrange a price fix for the girls. The same gentleman greeted me as I walked in and our group was seated immediately. The meal was delicious and entertaining. The girls had a ball and the service was fantastic. Thanks for a great night we will definitely go back again!

Comment: Mt Fuji is always a solid meal. My wife and kids have been here almost a dozen times and never had a bad meal. The hostess and waiters are always friendly and attentive and food is always solid. My only change would be to offer some additional higher end items. We will keep coming to this place for one of the better hibachi places in the wantagh bellmore area.

Kids loved it, and he made sure to pay attention to the kids and make it fun and exciting for them. Filet and shrimp combo was awesome, rice had great flavor and the sake, warm and tasty. A must have if in the Wantagh area.

The food was great, the restaurant was very clean, and the servers were attentive.Great place for groups. Figure around $30 per person. Not cheap- but not breaking the bank.
