Comment: Went there on my 18th birthday, staff were very polite, they reciprocated my familys energy. The design of the place felt very cozy (aesthetic + lighting). Food was awesome. Definitely a great place for special occassions imo, especially if you dont ear sushi very often.Also, i would recommend the fish and vegetable tempura dish the most.

Comment: I lived in Japan for 7 years and would walk to the Tsukiji fish market once a week to get some great sushi. Nagoya has some great sushi. The imported specials are pricey, but amazing. This is one of the very rare places that has fresh wasabi, but it only comes with the specials. Nagoya is one of the very few places that serves Chutoro and Otoro. Very few people even know what those are.

They do them really good.Original review: Sushi was very good but I give them 4 stars because I had to wait for 25 minutes in front of a lady who took my order. Apparently she never paid attention to me because my order was ready and she never noticed that. I had to come and asked if my order was ready and that was the moment she found it behind her back on a table.

Comment: My wife and I got hungry and had a craving for sushi. We looked up places in the area and happened upon this spot. A lot of small bites definitely went a looooong way. Our server was friendly and funny (patient as well). The menu had a wide variety of items to try. My advice: experiment and go outside the comfort zone. Recommend the eel (unagi) sushi, the tako sushi (octopus), the garlic shrimp, lamb chops, and the volcano rolls. For dessert, please try the Purple Yam cheesecake (my new favorite cake) and the red bean sorbet. They also have some great Wasabi.

The service, the standards, the food, the environment, the staff, the ambiance, the attention to customers, and the food again are all reasons this place is so good. The food reminded me of home and every bit was so wholesome and warm. Bonus points on presentation, all the food looked great and tasted even better than it looked. The staff are super friendly and quite attentive. Wait times are reasonable beyond belief as compared to the quality of the entire restaurant. Overall an amazing experience that I have and will again repeat till the end of time.

Comment: The food was good; however, the service was slow. I noticed they neglected tables like mine to chat with regulars. So for that reason and a nasty hot sake, I had to take off one star. Ive often ordered to go as its close to where I live, but this was my first time sitting in. Towards the end, they were so distracted chatting up with regulars I had to walk up to the desk to pay out my bill as I had a full meal there and takeout.

The bathrooms are pristine. Thats how u know how clean it is. Gr8 place in the heart of Midwood where you do not have many nice places a walk away on a Saturday night.Food is always fresh and u have many options for kids. First off, the food here is really good, I like everything I usually order and the prices are actually seem very fair, nothing too crazy. The service here, specifically the waiters and servers are polite and they pour green tea whenever your cup is empty. I just like that they are attentive and care about their customers. The food is really good honestly, no complaints. I also like the atmosphere, it’s chill and not too loud, and you can relax. The bathroom is still really cool. Nagoya is one of my favorite spots. I hope it stays that way.

Comment: Had a wonderful Father’s day dinner with my family at Nagoya. Great decor, clean, looks like it was recently renovated. Large bright windows, open brick wall, nightclub style bathrooms. Food was great, loved all the rolls, we had Godzilla, AK-47, fried duck and dragon rolls. Also enjoyed fried tofu dish, seaweed and kani salads. They have Sapporo beer, real mochi ice cream, so you’ll have some Japanese food for sure 😉 Place was full, glad I made a reservation. Make sure you give your phone number, coz they misspelled my name and I almost lost my reservation spot 😢 But service was great, no complaints here, fast, attentive and just nice 👍We had a great time and loved that place, we’ll be coming back!

Comment: This has been my go to restaurant for nearly 15 years. Great sushi on Kings Hwy in Midwood Brooklyn. They recently spent a lot of money and re-did the interior making it even more great a place to visit. The food is exceptional and I wish google let me add photos for this review. They are available at 25% capacity for dine in due to covid restrictions but also do a great job packing the food up for pickup or delivery. I love these folks!

It’s too soon to tell how consistently good they are, but so far so good. Special rolls are tasty, even though on the smallish side. Sushi pieces were good and fresh. Its got full cuts of peppered tuna with a nice balsamic glaze and all the asian fusion fixins... the sushi is fresh, they are very polite and fast. Overall feel is a high end NYC asian fusion sushi spot but in Brooklyn... we definitely needed a place like this around here.. Highly Recommend this place

The minute we came back in, the owner or maybe the manager, came up and was so happy we came back because they could give us our $8 back. They not only gave us our money back, but gave us this extravagant desert as well. It is safe to say that in tips they got the $8 and then some (a lot of some) back.We since moved away, and still constantly think about this restaurant. It was our favorite sushi place in Brooklyn.

Im mortified, because the sushi Ive been eating from this neighborhood is a 5 and this I could definitely say is a 10.From A - Z every sushi dish we ordered was absolutely phenomenal. Like seriously, perfect fish. The colors of the tuna, salmon and sea bass was just amazing. Perfect quality would be a total understatement.I ordered a salmon teriyaki dish which was surprisingly very cheap for the large portion they gave. I also had these few pieces of seared crusted tuna! Ah my mouth is salivating just thinking about it. Edemame was fresh and nicely boiled.I want to kick myself for not knowing about this place sooner. Definitely becoming a regular here. This order was a delivery and came to us perfectly packed with nothing ruined in the travel. I look forward to going to Nagoya and trying them in house. I can only imagine how great the meals would be.

Comment: The region around Kings Hwy Q train station had a few Japanese restaurants, but nothing remotely similar to Nagoya. The sushi quality is quite good, comparable to some of my favorite places in Manhattan, and the prices are really appealing. After they opened, I have been going there once a week and very rarely the food has been less than great.Really a great addition to the region. I give it solid 5 stars considering the benefit/cost relation.
