Comment: This hole in the wall, budget sushi stop punches well above its weight. The $20-30 per person rolls and bentos are definitely worth more than they charge. We come here every other month or so when we want sushi that’s close to the house (and doesn’t break the bank). We usually spend about $40-50 and have a meal to take home for later. The bentos are a crazy value. My dinner bento had 2 tempura shrimp, a mountain of tempura vegetables, a tuna roll, dumplings, rice and Miso soup for $24 or thereabouts.

Comment: Im coeliac and always quite nervous to order sushi/sashimi in case there is any hidden gluten but I had a great experience at Nara Sushi: they had gluten free soy sauce and the chef was knowledgeable about which options were ok for me. Nice ambience and the fish was great quality - definitely would recommend :)

Comment: Truly surprising, you look for a Japo to eat, you enter without many expectations and you leave much more than satisfied. Small but cozy and well decorated place, very fast service, some Spanish would be appreciated but in the end you end up understanding with good will. The food, the best of all, we ordered a sashimi and nigiri combo for 2 with two miso soups included, good flavor, quality and generous portions, also apart from a salmon salad, surprising. To repeat, its a shame that traveling to New York cannot be repeated every day. 😉

Comment: I have ordered Nara Sushi various times; it honestly has become one of my favorite Japanese delivery options. When I realized I was close to the restaurant decided to give it a try in person. The place is charming and feels like a tiny restaurant in the streets of Japan. The food was delicious and came very quickly! And overall, the price always blows me away. I mean, $32,00 for miso soup and that much sushi in New York? Wow!

Comment: I stumbled onto this place out of luck while waiting for an event to start. Im very happy I found this place and in a nice spot too not far from a lot of activity.- The atmosphere on the inside was really cool with anime inspired wallpaper and Asian decor everywhere.- The food was brought out in a timely manner despite being a Saturday night with moderate guests filling in the seats.- The food was great. I ordered the Kani salad and Bumblebee special roll (see pics)I would definitly go back and explore more if there menu!

Comment: Great spot for affordable sushi in downtown Manhattan. I always get the three rolls combo. The spicy tuna roll and yellowtail avocado roll are my favorite. You are able to substitute brown rice for $1 extra charge. I do recommend that you be super clear on whether you want soup or salad for your side, as they have mixed up that part of the order for me multiple times. Recommended for all sushi lovers.

Comment: A new gem in FiDi! Sashimi and nigiri we ordered were fresh, melt in your mouth, and delectable. The Bumblebee Signature Rolls were masterfully crafted. The rice was soaked delicately in a concoction, neither sticky nor dry. And for the price point (paid $45 for the Nigiri & Sashimi combo + signature rolls), you are getting great value.The interiors are straight out of Tokyo featuring Miyazaki and classic animé posters. Service was swift yet gracefully done. Everyone was friendly.I wish Nara Sushi success and hope that it becomes a FiDi staple.
