Comment: It’s pretty small and tight but it adds up to the uniqueness and the atmosphere. The food is absolutely AMAZING, I’ve never taste ramen and kaarage so good. The portions are more than enough, and yet you always want to keep eating.It was my first time in a long time since I’ve been to NYC and I’ll definitely be going back, and recommending anyone who likes ramen and Japanese food to definitely try that place!The serve was also very friendly and even allowed me to charge my phone in the kitchen (he really saved my day there).

This is also a budget friendly place just like the other location crosstown.As good as the food was, this location is much smaller than their location on the Upper West Side and that place is small. Comment: I like the closeness to the train station and the food is really tasty. I LOVED the posts they have from several animes and the One Piece wanted posters look amazing there. The music its a banger, as an anime watcher for more than a decade, I knew almost all the songs they played. The place is a little small and has a lot of clients (when we finished eating, there was a huge line waiting to go on), though there is not wheelchair accessibility...The service was pretty quick and waitresses were always attentive in every aspect. They have forks if you cant use chopsticks too, just ask them and theyll get them for you.(Edit: just added the ramen pic my friend took)

Comment: Came here for lunch while in the area, and really enjoyed it here. I sat in the booth outside which has a street view that is great for people watching. I got the classic Naruto Ramen and gyoza, and both were delicious. The attendant Yenny R was super friendly and attentive, and the service was at a good pace. I would definitely recommend this to any ramen lover!

Comment: We walked over lunch after spending the day in Central Park.The inside had a bit of a wait, but we’re quickly seated outside.I ordered the Cilantro Bomb ramen with karrage chicken.The chicken was delicious with a light and crispy crunch. Very juicy in the inside.The cilantro bomb ramen was…interesting. It was my first time experiencing such a unique combination of flavors in my ramen broth. Like, cilantro, and a spicy broth that had a kick to it.I liked it - but it was a bit strong for my taste. However, the size of the bowl was perfect with filling portion of ramen.The only thing I would caution against is the EXTREMELY hot lamp that is hanging in the outside eating area.It was unbelievably hot and was so uncomfortable that we moved to a different table.Otherwise, it was a solid, filling meal that wasn’t crazy expensive. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a ramen spot to hit the spot, within walking distance of Central Park.

Everything from the curry, to the karaage and of course the ramen was so fresh, tasty, and just comforting to the soul on a snowy day.The service was fast, nice, and they played anime openings and jpop which was awesome.Be sure that youre comfortable with eating in a kind of cramped space and with no access to a public restroom.

Comment: My all time fav is spicy miso ramen, the dumplings and the drink yum. Didnt like the texture japanese buns but it had flavor. I finally eat inside the restaurant. My friend got the mega ramen bowl but to be honest I thought it was going to be a bigger bowl but it was the same size as mine it felt like a rip off and instead of adding the extra noodles in the bowl they put it as a side dish and it got hard. Then my friend also ordered japanese buns the chicken and it wasn’t fully cooked. My friend had a bad experience here for being his first time. I like the atmosphere it felt like i was in a different country.

The outside is heated, but if the door is left open at all it becomes very chilly very quickly. The wait for food was about 5 minutes, so very quick service. Ive heard really great things about it, and when I saw the waiting list outside my expectations, rose with excitement. We were called in about 20 minutes on a Sunday night so we didnt wait too long. They have indoor and outdoor seating so that certainly helped we were seated inside and when we walked in anime music flooded the shop, which I loved because Im a dork and know almost all of it.Ambience and atmosphere got a check in my book. Inside is pretty tight since its a small hole in the wall but the sign outside definitely makes it stand out. The staff was one of the kinder stuff Ive come across at restaurants in general, even when the girl next to me spilled all her water on the floor. They were so genuinely sweet!As for the ramen, I ordered the original Naruto ramen and was pleasantly happy with the pork. Sometimes ramen shops will only give you super inedible fatty pieces of pork but I had 2 decent pieces. As for the broth, it was just okay. The flavors didnt exactly punch but it was pretty good.Flavor wise is this spot my favorite? No. But Id it a great spot in the Upper East Side to grab some ramen for the future winter months ahead oh most definitely. Dont come here expecting a lot as it is a sit at the bar, eat and go kind of spot. But waiting for your food while listening to anime music is a whole freaking vibe.On Site-Bathroom in the veryyyy back in the employee area (you may have to ask to go)-Hooks for your JacketsTips-Wheelchair accessible outside (might be too cramped inside)

Comment: Cash only! I live in the Upper East Side and have been here several times a month. Its still one my favorite go to spots especially when Im in the mood for their amazing curry ramen. Its delicious and surprisingly cheap!It can be quite crowded during the evening so come here before 6pm or after 9pm with a party of three or fewer. For larger groups, I recommend going to Churutto Ramen a couple of blocks away between 86th and 87th street.The atmosphere is very cozy and reminiscent of authentic Japanese ramen bars. I love how they play J-Pop music so if thats your boom then definitely check this place out.

Comment: Wow, I had a good time eating here.I waited for a good japanese ramen for some time now and I finally found one (and with a very reasonable price!)We took the Takoyaki, Naruto Ramen and the Curry Ramen.The Takoyaki were firm on the outside and scorching hot on the inside. Just as I wanted!The Naruto ramen had a taste just like ones I had in Japan. The Curry Ramen had a thick texture with a nice mild curry spiciness. Delicious.Im so glad I found this place, I plan to come here again before we leave NYC.

Just go and try it out! Make sure to ask for extra hot sauce if you are getting take out. Prices are also good and super affordable.There is a big chance, that there is a line. If you are not waiting to sit down, but only take out, just walk by the line and order inside right away. Waiting time for take out after ordering is uaually under 10mins.The staff is friendly, efficient, fast and super helpful. I was waiting for my food to be prepared in the car on the opposite side of the street, and one of the employees came over and brought it out to us :)Really, just go there :)

Only one problem….after I paid for my food the lady said “no tip?” (Tip is never mandatory and workers shouldn’t ask customers for a tip) so I gave her $1 and she “NO! THATS NOT ENOUGH!!” And when I walked away she made a scene, I don’t feel like I should be harassed for a tip and I found that very uncomfortable and unprofessional! Besides that the food was amazing with no problems and good price. ✅💯🍜🔥

Comment: Perfect ! I went there yesterday evening with three friends, we just had to wait a bit to have a table due to covid 19 restriction, but it was a perfect diner. We ordered veggie gyozas and takoyakis, both served hot and delicious ! The chicken curry ramen was delicious and tasty, the chicken greatly fried and crunchy. Not that expensive and worth the cost !Highly recommended

They have a paper sign in sheet, but that’s not expressed immediately so it can be a bit confusing at times. Because the place is so small, you’re waiting outside (which is fine in the summer. But when it’s freezing, pretty difficult).

It was a standard shoyu (so sauce based) broth but still delicious. You get 3 pieces of pork, a perfectly cooked egg, bean sprouts, a small sheet of not and bamboo shoots. I would say the stand out component were the noodles.Price was very reasonable at $9 with the option of adding more toppings. Interior is very cozy with limited seating, maybe 15 seats total. Comment: Have you eaten ramen? If you havent, you should try Naruto Ramen. It has really yummy food, like the Tan Tan Ramen, Miso Ramen and the Naruto Ramen. The Naruto Ramen had really long noodles, really delicious broth, pork, radish, seaweed and an egg. There arent regular tables in there, but they have stools and a bar table that lets you see them cooking. So, if you are hungry, thats where you need to go.By Joshua, age 7

Comment: I love the ramen here! I tried the tan tan ramen which is spicy. For me it was more a mild spice than real spicy so I think its okay even for people who cant handle much spicyness. All the food looks delicious and the staff is very friendly. The only reason I cant give it 5 stars is because its a bit small. But definitely recommend it!
