Comment: I was with a grandson that loves ramen. As a reward for being awesome, I took him there to eat . It was a first visit for both of us. We ordered three items from the menu. I will confess that I am not a connoisseur of ramen restaurants. But I also will say that everything I ate was delicious. The portions were large, I had to ask for a to go package. (Which is exciting because then I can have it for the next day. ) I thought the prices were reasonable. The day that we visited was a very rainy, windy day. Everyone was friendly and kind, and the atmosphere was very clean and welcoming. I would suggest going there to any of my friends. And my grandson plans to visit lots of times with or without me!

Good quality for the location and price. Service was a little slow. Please note vegetable ramen is not vegan (has eggs) and there is no vegan ramen options. Green tea is simply a tea bag in a cup. It takes credit cards and has bike rack right in front of the place.

Comment: Never had a bad experience here. For a ramen restaurant in America, I have to give them five stars. They never fail to deliver consistently good food. Great service, the ingredients seem to be quality and prepared with conscientiousness, and their curry and their gyoza are also excellent, and I feel its all fairly reasonably priced for what youre getting, and the location theyre at. As with most ramen places, I personally always order without the bean sprouts.

Comment: Very comforting bowl of ramen. However, a bowl of ramen with its primary toppings being bean sprouts and corn says a lot about the authenticity. This is quite an americanized place, so if you are looking for an authentic Japanese ramen, this is probably not the place to go. But if youre in for a decent bowl of well cooked noodles and some umami broth for a reasonable price, this will do. I opted out for the bean sprouts here, and it was quite good.

Comment: I finally got around to ordering from Naruto ramen, after passing it every single day. This is a tiny restaurant on Broadway, with bar styles seating and some small wooden tables indoors. They also have some high top seating options in their outdoor dining shed area. I ordered the lunch special over the phone and my order was ready in 15 min. I got the miso ramen with the half curry appetizer. From a quantity perspective, I was quite pleased since the appetizer itself took up a whole takeout box. The curry flavor was good, but didnt contain very much in it besides the sauce. Most of the appetizer was rice in the curry sauce, topped with one broccoli floret and two takoyaki balls (one was squid I believe and the other was chicken). But I couldnt be too sure since there wasnt a description on the menu of what was on the half curry appetizer. The miso ramen had its pros and cons. Pros were that the portions were ample, the ramen chewy and soft at the same time, and the chasu was amazing. The broth itself wasnt super fatty but still rich, which is what I personally like. The con was that there was a lot of broth compared to ingredients (which might be an issue of getting takeout). The broth was also really salty, so I wasnt able to slurp down all the broth. Overall, the takeout experience was positive and Im hoping that the other ramen soup bases are more to my liking.

Tasted great, lots of add-ins, and the noodles themselves were on point. The only drawback is that the place is small, so if youre thinking of going in a large group, you might have to wait a while. Other than that, definitely worth the trip.

Comment: Birthday surprise. I took my bf to this cute ramen restaurant because he wanted a Naruto theme ramen (he’s a anime lover). For appetizers we ordered the fried balls with calamar inside (takoyaki ) and the kimchi. Both appetizers were beyond delicious. The takoyaki had a soft filling that reminded me of rice pudding. The kimchi added a fresh and spicy flavor to my ramen and takoyaki. Then for the main course we all three order a different ramen: I ordered the miso ramen. I enjoyed the noodles and the sweet egg that was inside. The birthday boy left the restaurant with a big smile on his face. If you have a beloved one who loves anime and ramen surprise him/ her with a good meal at Naruto ramen! Restaurant has a great decor of anime for great pictures!

Comment: Love this place, its tiny but the service has always been awesome to me. They do temp checks and contact tracing if youre dining in. So far my favorite has been the miso ramen, they put a dab of butter on top and I did not know how amazing that would be. I find the signature naruto ramen a bit too salty for my taste. The fried chicken is also incredibly addicting. I love it with the spicy mayo it comes with. I also had the takoyaki and they were pretty good, unexpectedly creamy instead of cake-like on the inside like I thought. Very subtle flavor. I would love to try the cilantro bomb ramen next. Definitely recommend this place. (Something to note that there is a limit of 10 people at a time in the restaurant if you want to dine in. I got stuck in the cold waiting once, but honestly, thats a good problem for a restaurant to have during these times)

Comment: My very good friend C introduced me to this wonderful Ramen Restaurant on the UWS, a few years ago. Typically small, as are most noodle restaurants, but incredibly tidy and beyond efficient. My goodness, the food is so flavorful! A limited menu by choice, the chefs in the tiny kitchen, which is open to the bar seating area (my favorite place to sit / watch the preparations / EAT...) are so skilled in their preparation. Each order is prepared from scratch, the only continual cooking pots which are on a constant medium heat, are the ones that have the soup broth on the ready, and so fragrant...The menu is extremely well priced. Appetizers are not to be overlooked. The pork buns are excellent, along with the dumplings...When Cs family was up from Florida in January, they were treated to a excellent supper at Naruto. Wish C had been with us, perhaps he was...Naruto Ramen will always be one of my most favorite places to pop in, eat, and never be disappointed!

Comment: Extremely picky and was my first time eating here. (Yesterday) Nice comfy and clean. I ordered the Chicken Cutlet Curry Ramen it was well prepared and was really good. We also ordered the veggie Gyoza which was VERY GOOD, I definitely recommend others give it a try if you haven’t. Food was prepared in a timely manner, not a long wait. Like the anime decor, drawings and other things they have put up.✌🏽 👍🏽👍🏽

Comment: One of my fave ramen places in the city. They make excellent, spicy ramen. Try the Cilantro Bomb on the seasonal menu. You can adjust the spiciness of your ramen bowl. We got the spicy edamame as well - YUM!My friend, who doesn’t eat pork, was able to eat their only non-pork-broth ramen, the veggie one, but was able to add chicken. She loved it. It can be crowded and noisy, but worth it.My kids love Ramune, a type of Japanese soda that comes in bottles with marble stoppers instead of bottle caps.

Comment: The food and the wait staff were amazing! I ordered the pork gyoza with cheese, I highly recommend it! The cheese stretched and didnt taste weird with the dipping sauce. The mega Naruto ramen I had after is for someone who has a big stomach to match it I think my eyes was bigger than my stomach! Lol! I also ordered a Ramune which is a Japanese soda it tasted very sweet and fruity and was the perfect compliment to my meal! Try one and let your friendly waiter show you how to open it that made more appealing! This place is a great couple spot also so go there with your honey! Its good affordable for dining on a budget on the upper west side!

I found that strange so I wiped it with a cloth to make sure nothing was on it.Good tasting ramen but Ive had better. But since i hadnt been here sinxe high school ill always love this place.

Comment: Its a neighborhood favorite. The prices are reasonable and the ramen is consistently good. I normally go for the Spicy Naruto Ramen with extra bean sprouts. And you cant go wrong with the pork buns. Bring your appetite if youre crazy enough to take them on, in their eating competitions.
