Comment: An impressive menu. The sushi was good; the staff was quietly efficient. We sat in the back half of the restaurant and it was way too hot - I think all the heat for the building was coming out of 6 vents above 3 booths. The building was very beautiful when it was new. Now showing signs of disrepair and it looks like they can’t afford to fix it right.

Comment: Definitely the best Asian Fusion in Harlem and probably New York City. If your coming here for the first time I recommend the Chicken Dumplings, the Shrimp Lo Main, and the Bento Box which your choice of protein. The hibachi fried rice is also delicious, the whole place is very clean, the staff are very friendly, and the food comes rapidly. If you are visiting New York come to Harlem and try Nikko Hibachi Asian Fusion!

Comment: *vegetarian review* The veggie Japanese fried rice was seasoned so tasty! I didnt enjoy the mushrooms in the rice as much but thats such a small thing. I also ordered the vegetable tempura with a side of eel sauce ($1 extra for that sauce, it came with a sauce but it was thin and I love how eel sauce tastes). It was very good and crisp but not super crunchy. The waiter was very welcoming and attentive. I will be coming back.

Comment: Went to Nikko after a haircut for a quick drink - I was immediately tended to by Ivette who was attentive to me the entire time. Later, I had a nice talk with Julian at the bar about NYC and Jersey. The staff are extremely friendly and I stayed a lot longer than I had planned because of the great conversation. 10/10 experience; whether you’re looking for a quick drink or a sit down meal with your family, I highly recommend Nikko. The decor inside is spacious and beautiful and the happy hour prices don’t hurt either. Definitely a new regular place after a haircut or if I’m in the area.

While it is good I feel like they go heavy on the teriyaki sauce next time I would definitely ask for light sauce on all my food. Overall great place and would definitely go again.

The restaurant also serves tea upon request and it’s great on a cold winter day so you can warm up. I went on the hibachi side and had a very interactive experience with the chef who made sure to verify everyones orders and ask about food allergies. He also did flame/food tricks and gave lots of sake or sprite if that is your preference. The restaurant side is spacious as well and offers plenty of items to choose from all the food was noticeably fresh. Definitely a good restaurant to visit. I will be back.

Comment: Looking for a hibachi restaurant and found Nikko. I enjoyed the grill show and the food was just as good. I ordered hibachi and kitchen my preference and prices were pretty descent. I ordered filet mignon and shrimp (2 meat, seafood) combo and my hubby did steak with grill salmon w/side scallops and he enjoyed his food as well. Got tipsy off the sake, the chef kept giving us and we enjoyed ourselves and making plans to bring family. If your looking for something different, with variety, affordable, and good, NIKKO is your place.😋😋😋💖💖 Oh, I cant 4get desserts😋😋😋

I’ll list out some pros and cons for you.Pros:Very cheap, being in close proximity to the upper west side where I live, this is cheaper then anything else you’ll find by a large marginService is great a fast, very filling and quick.Not crowded, lets you relax and talk and take things at your own paceCons:Location isn’t near anything in particular, so if you’re going here your most likely going to only be going here, as in there isn’t much else to do.CONCLUSIONThat’s all I have to say, no real complaints I’ve loved it every time I’ve come here, and I hope you guys will too!

It is delish with tuna and avocado blended together to form a tasty roll, but without the carby rice. They also have a terrific happy hour each night at 5 p.m. I recommend the lychee martini.

Boston roll was ok - lettuce made it a little watery. Spicy tuna was good. Eel and avocado was very tasty. Overall, very good spot for work lunch.

Our Hibachi chef was incredibly friendly and funny, doing tricks and making jokes through the whole experience. Service was fast and continuously friendly, and the decor was wonderful. Comment: Not a bad place to grab a quick bite. Their bento boxes are priced well but they have too much rice and less of the entrée. Salad was also a bit weird, the dressing was runny and they gave huge chunks of lettuce that make it hard to chew in one bite. I ended up getting their general tso chicken which wasnt bad at all but a bit bland to what Im used to. Service was prompt and quick and the place was pretty clean overall.

Comment: I went yesterday to celebrate my 23rd birthday with friends. It was a party of 13. Lovely ambience, quick service with the drinks and food. We all fit. The food was delicious, the breading on the katsu, the tempura, the seafood, all of it was good. Heads up, automatic +18% gratuity added to parties larger than 6. Our bill was over $300, but we did the math and all paid separate. Other than that, great experience, I enjoyed myself and so did my friends. Ill definitely come back here :)

Comment: Ive been to this place a number of times and I love it here. Its so good in quality and amount of food that they give for the price. Ive been to other overpriced Hibachi spots and they cant compare. Ive never been to the actual restaurant side so I can only speak to the Hibachi side. I love the chefs, they are always lively and fun. Ive never had a negative experience. And I have taken people here for birthdays. They sing with you and they give this really cute musical flower that has candles on it. It has a nice warm atmosphere to it and the staff are friendly. The only tiny complaint I have is that their cocktail selection is small for my tastes and the drinks can be on the heavier side. Still tasty though!

The salad and miso soup were quite bland but the main meal was fantastic, I couldnt believe it when it turned up with two halves of lobster on top! The shrimp were massive, bigger than the king prawns we get in the UK.This place is definitely recommended for seafood fans and is very good value for money.

Theres a bar you can sit at with tvs, theres an area with a chef who cooks food right in front of you, an area for casual dining. Very cozy with dim lighting. Perfect for going out on a date. My far-underaged daughter loves the baby sake: squirt bottle shooting water from 5 feet behind the grill.Drinks from the bar are excellent and effective. Interestingly flavored and tasty martinis, reasonably priced.In recent months, getting seating for Hibachi has become rather difficult; estimates can be way off (1 hour instead of 30 min), but part of this is attributable to an occasionally rambunctious crowd (squatters). The staff has yet to manage this part well.

The only the its first come first serve for the hibachi and if you have a big group prepare to wait because we went on a Saturday night and it was packed. While youre waiting enjoy HAPPY HOUR. Which is from 4pm to 8pm everyday!! The best deal is the combination, which you have salad, soup,a choice of fried rice or noodles and pick two eats. I had the noodles with steak and shrimp, mm mm good! The chef himself was very entertaining, be prepared to get sake squirted in your mouth but thats only by choice.. You can also bring the children, my took my son threes days later for dinner and to experience something different. He loved it,enjoyed his food as well. Will definitely be coming back and I might bring my mom for her birthday!!!

Comment: This is the first place I normally order sushi from in this area. I love their 3 roll combo for lunch, its cheap and good. And they always, always, always listen to taking certain food items out of their selections to accommodate food allergies and/or things a person dislikes. Ive never had a bad experience with them and they are always so nice. Im beyond happy when the announcement of this restaurant came up a few years ago and since then they have always exceeded my expectations.
