Comment: It was the best of times; it was the worst of times. This dining experience was definitely a tale of two restaurants. On the one hand, the food was excellent. The soup was tasty and the dressing on the salad was tangy and quite good. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, with the sides of fried rice, noodles and vegetables all very good. The portion was also plentiful. However, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It was particularly noisy, even by Hibachi restaurant standards, with kids running all over the place. In addition, the place was freezing. It felt like the air conditioner was on, even though it was winter. I recommend this place if you want a good hibachi meal. Just be sure to bring ear plugs and a portable space heater.

Comment: The Hibachi experience always brings a smile to my face. First you get to watch the masters of the Hibachi table at work. They perform some tricks and get the crowd involved. Can you catch a piece of a random vegetable in your mouth? What about a squirt of Sake? The chefs at Nikko dont disappoint and neither does the food they prepare. So even if youre not there for the show, expect an enjoyable dining experience.Dont forget the sushi. Overall, this place has excellent food without a killer price.

Service is prompt and the food is excellent. The hibachi plates are a fantastic value, and the steak and salmon that I ordered were both cooked perfectly. Only thing is that they don’t serve anything from the happy hour menu outside of the bar area. Even with that this place is still easily worth a five star rating.

We totally appreciated the ample parking for everyone since we all drove up from NYC, Westchester, and the surrounding area. Our family and friends sat at two hibachi tables. Comment: One of our favorites. We live within walking distance and have been eating here for take out or eat-in hibachi for 6 years. Food is ALWAYS on point, Ive NEVER had a bad dish. Staff is very nice and their hibachi chefs are hilarious and very conversational. We look forward to our experience everytime we go.

Comment: Place looks very nice and is quite huge enough for a family dinner. There were funny and entertaining chefs at this place which never failed to make us laugh or smile. When our food was cooked and Ordered the steak, I was dying over the goodness of this steak and the noodles and rice were good with soy sauce. The sauces given before the meal were good. I recommend coming here for a family dinner and a good entertainment given by the chefs.

Comment: I was staying at a nearby hotel and was without a vehicle for one of the days, so I decided to venture out to a restaurant within walking distance. Its just a half mile away from the Spring Hill suites and Courtyard.Its the only place to eat next to a couple of business offices but I have to say...the sushi was incredible!I started with the treasure Island sushi appetizer...was was unbelievable. Quality of the sashimi was real fresh and they had some amazing rolls. The Sweetheart roll and the Tappan Zee roll were again...unbelievable! Just look at my pics.I really wasnt expecting too much from a hibachi/sushi place but if Im ever back in Tarrytown, this is the spot.

Comment: I definitely enjoyed this place! The scallops were awesome the sushi was great! For lunch or dinner this place has a nice variety. They are very accommodating its very clean a great location right off the highway with plenty of parking. If youre trying something new in the neighborhood this place is definitely a hit with a nice atmosphere like this one. Theres only one way to start it for me. Hey Ice cold Sapporo or the drink of your choice from here it gets no better than that. Until you order your meal. So enjoy! If you enjoyed the review. You know what to do👍. The flavors and sauces that the food was cooked in, set it apart from any other hibachi we have tried. Better yet, its walking distance from our apartment!!

Comment: We just stopped by to have a quick bite. We didnt have high expectation but it was surprisngly good. Green tea was hot, dumpling soup was great with twist of Japanese broth, and sushi was exceptional. Very combenient location ( closed to throughway entrance )

Comment: When I went to have dinner and hibachi here i was so i’mpressed. This was one of the best hibachi restaurants i have ever eaten at. I had shrimp and steak and it was amazing. service was great and food was great. your are greeted nicely at the door and the place is very clean and elegant. Comment: Nikko Hibachi is one of the better Hibachi restaurants that Ive been to. Regular tables are available as well. The food is very consistent here, and they make good cocktails. They also have happy hour. The Hibachi chefs are very talented. One evening while we were there, the chef noticed it was my 9 year old daughters birthday. He made her a balloon crown and flower, and the waitress brought out a piece of cake on the house. Theres also plenty of free parking. Once in a while a Groupon is available, so check before you go.

Comment: This place is AWESOME. Sad I dont live near Tarrytown otherwise I would be a regular here. The portion sizes are very large and awesome value for money. Went for lunch specials and the bento boxes were the best I have seen: most bento boxes gives you small portions and maybe two individual rolls of sushi but you get a full six rolls in the bento box! The mochi ice cream was exactly how it should be (some restaurants struggle with this) as it was chewy and soft and not flaky like others can be. The waitresses were very on the ball and cleared plates the second we were done with them and filled water when it got less than halfway. Great service and food.

However, prices are a bit higher and they dont accept vouchers on legal holidays. They dont include free ice cream with the hibachi dinners unless its your birthday. I liked the flavor better than the service.

Comment: Local sushi place and I love it. The service is great. Never say in the hibachi but I hear other people enjoying it. The sushi here is so fresh. I enjoy the duck roll as well. It is so crispy and perfect. We always get one of the sushi for two deals and its so worth it. A lot of sushi and sashimi. We always end up fighting for who needs to eat the last pieces! Comment: Came here to celebrate my brothers birthday. We both love hibachi restraunts and have been to many through the us. This definitely ranks at the top the service was fast the place wasnt over crowded and the food was great. This is one of the few hibachi restraunts that gives fried rice and noodles with the main course which is rare anymore. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good hibachi restraunt to eat at. Will definitely visit again next time Im in town.

Comment: Food was good and staff attentive, but the hibachi servings were on the small size. I went with a party of 8 and we each ordered hibachi, as well as sushi and other things. We were filled afterwards, but only because we ordered sushi and appetizers as well. We all tasted and shared the hibachi (as per the chefs recommendations) and it seemed like we all only got a taste of each hibachi entree(chicken, shrimp, steak, etc). Overall, it was a good experience but Id hope for a larger hibachi serving next time, especially at the price. Price was fair, but for the size, not so much.
