Comment: I gave this 5 stars comparing apples to apples: this restaurant with other restaurants of this type.So this is a nice variation on the Chinese takeout place...Its not Chinese and it has restaurant-type seating.In another pleasant wrinkle, you create your meal when You order: starting with a base entree and adding vegetables of your liking etc.This is an efficiently run quick cook restaurant. I say Quick Cook, because this isnt fast food - with all the baggage that term has come to acquire (poor quality, unhealthy, etc).Both the place in the food are clean. The staff is friendly and they cook the food in full view of the customer snd do so in literally minutes.... like 5 minutes and its on your table or in your hands.I got beef teriyaki over fried rice with mushrooms only.The portion is impressive, weighing at least 3 lbs. They are generous with the meat and it is quality meat. No gristle or excessive fat as is common in some low end places. And the taste is outstanding.And all that for a very reasonable price. I paid a mere $10.75 for my entree.I actually walked 14 blocks in the rain for this meal (7 each way - so I wouldnt lose a prime parking place,) but it is absolutely worth it.In my opinion, this is the best thing going on Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard.Ill be back.......I am back:Ive been here 8 times since the last review. And every time its excellent. I recently got the chicken teriyaki. The chicken portion is downright impressive. Theres gotta be a pound of chicken on here. And its all cooked to perfection. Not overdone not crispy just tenderly browned and exquisitely flavoured.In the Marine Corps we have a word to describe something thats far and above the norm. That word is outstanding.Well ninja Japan teriyaki sushi is that.this place certainly stands out....I highly recommend it.

Comment: Ordered delivery via Seamless, the food arrived hot and the amount was overflowing in the boxes. Definitely surprised us. Ask for extra teriyaki sauce because it makes it taste so good. The shumai was delicious. I think it would be better to either eat there and order for pick up because my only issue was the fees on the app. Definitely recommend this place and would be ordering more in the future and also telling friends and family to check them out

Sushi is really good and cheaper than many places in NYC and the cashier lady who I always see there is really nice.Although the first time I have had ordered there was a black hair in the sushi.

I only switch between the chicken teriyaki bento box which is so filling or just plain chicken teriyaki which is a huge poration for the price. Comment: It is really awesome! before I would have to go all the way to queen center mall to get some good teriyaki chicken and noodles at a place called,noodle house. Now that I discovered ninja Japan I have some awesome food close by with amazing tasting gyoza to boot!! I usually have to go to naruto ramen in queens to get amazing tasting gyoza but now that changed. The staff is fast paced and even pay attention to their customers. When we were done i was gonna ask for a bag but the man already knew what I needed and handed it to me so quickly. The only downside is that they do not deliver nor have uber eats but I dont mind. I will make time to go down there because it is close by! They have naruto images on the menu too. decent portion sizes too. I took some home so make sure you have enough space!

Comment: My boyfriend and I would come here to eat after classes n usually have small dates when Im on break from work.We always get the chicken teriyaki. Sometimes pork dumplings.Their fried ice cream is pretty good as well.This is usually our go to place to eat when were hungry

Comment: Great sushi. Affordable lunch specials and great service. This is a great place to go for sushi and other assorted Japanese foods. The Japanese sodas they have are really good! They have a ball you push into the glass bottle so you can drink from the spout where the ball was. Very good!

Comment: The store it self is quite beautiful with its design and seating is also quite comfortable for the multiple times Ive eaten here. The food is great and its price isnt half bad either and its just very nice to eat here. Doors away from the J train and a few seconds from the buses puts this store at not only just highly accessible but also highly enjoyable.
