Comment: My favorite traditional ramen restaurant - great flavor, tea noodles, and excellent tea options 😊 Henry served us today with so much attention to detail and kindness. Been going for years now and the quality of the broth is unmatched. The takoyaki is my fave appetizer. Thank you!

Comment: At NIPPON CHA, the culinary journey begins with an array of appetizers that set a high standard. Each dish is a testament to authentic flavors and craftsmanship, leading seamlessly to the main course—a bowl of ramen. The ramen is a symphony of rich broth, perfectly cooked noodles, and expertly prepared toppings, making each slurp a moment to savor. Our meal concludes on a high note with the matcha tiramisu, a unique twist on the classic dessert, blending the earthy tones of matcha with creamy, sweet layers. This restaurant is a must-visit for a seamless blend of traditional and modern Japanese cuisine, where each dish is prepared with care and presented with flair.

Comment: The hostess and server was kind and friendly, the ambiance is spacious and warm, and the food was very delicious! I ordered the salmon mentai yaki soba which was very creamy and tasty, especially with a dash of salt and pepper! I also ordered a side of pork katsu, which was reasonably priced but overcooked and hard, so Id definitely skip the katsu and order other selections next time around. The matcha latte was a bit overly milky, but does the job in curing my cravings. Overall the experience was a pleasant one and although many selections are on the pricier end, some of them are decently priced and the quality of their food is definitely there!Thank you for reading and best of luck!

Comment: The staff are always nice and accommodating. I dined in, had take out, and delivery from this place, and its been nice every time. I think the ramen tastes a lot better when you dine in, so I recommend doing that if you can! The space can be cramped, especially the entrance. I do wish they could open it up more, but it hasnt been crowded when I visited, so its fine.

Comment: Had lunch with my wife at Nippon Cha, one of our favorite Japanese restaurants in Bayside. We ordered the King crab, uni and salmon roe over their green tea noodle, their seasonal gyu katsu and asked for curry on the side with shishito peppers and yuzu lemon fried chicken wings for appetizers. As always the food was fresh and the service was attentive and welcoming. Will continue coming back here again and again.

Comment: Ordered the supa tuna Don(as always) for take out and it only took 10 min for it to be ready. It comes with an onsen-style egg which is very good. This time tho, tried the chili wonton, don’t worry it is not spicy at all.Good quality for a quick dinner. Many of their rice bowl is pretty decent as well.

Comment: Everything here doesn’t miss. Flavor and plating is on point! The food is healthy and nourishing. The brown sugar matcha was super rich. You definitely have to mix it well though. The uni steamed egg was also quite fishy but had a great texture and had a surprise scallop at the bottom! Not worth $12 though. Also pictured: Tochucha udonStill thinking about the Cold Tochucha Soba/Matcha Ramen i got…- Tasted like summer in a bowl- Chewy noodles combined with the perfectly seasoned broth contrasted with the crunchy cucumber was very refreshing and umami.- there were also 2 big pieces of tender chicken. which went well with the fresh wasabi. personally i wish they were smaller pieces.- the tea flavors cooked into both the soup and noodles provided a multiple layers of flavor.Food and drink had really balanced flavor. Not tooo salty but also not too bland. Matcha wasn’t too sweet nor too bitter.

Comment: I really loved this place. The food was delicious and quick. I had their miso ramen with their special tea noodles (for $1 extra) which was light and soft. My husband got the pork katsu set and that came with so much food. So much that he couldnt finish his katsu! There was a steamed egg with abalone at the bottom that was just *chefs kiss!*. I got a brown sugar matcha to go with oat milk (cold) and I cannot recommend it more - it wasnt too sweet but not too matcha-y where it was bitter. I would definitely go back and try other foods!Oh we also had their fried octopus which came with at least 10 pieces and a dip that tasted like spicy mayo. Yum!

Comment: It’s a 5 mins walking distance from Long Island railroad bayside station. It’s a clean and comfortable restaurant. The service is good, and people are friendly and attentive. Overall the food is good. The taste is decent, and the portion is ok. It’s not like a special treat for your stomach, but it’s nice to have clean, fresh warm food without big flaws. The matcha tiramisu and the two drinks we ordered are superb. I will go back to try again.

Comment: I got the fried mini octopus, calamari, and a spicy miso ramen. The octopus and calamari come with spicy mayo. Not super crispy but definitely tastey. The ramen was good. Had good heat level but not so much to take away from the flavor of the ramen. I personally liked it.Food price is fair compared to whats around.Servers are super nice and attentive. They gave me an extra pitcher of water even when I didnt ask. Overall very polite and would go again.Sat at the high seat table, which is fine.I wasnt able to check the bathrooms though so no comment on that.Nice place for some good ramen.

Comment: Beautiful tea/ramen spot! Upon walking in we were greated promptly and seated right away. The place was very clean with a good amount of decor which provided a very relaxing ambiance. There were a plethora of menu items especially Tochucha based which is one of their signature teas (no caffeine by the way). I ordered their Yuzu Tochucha lemonade along with their spicy miso chicken ramen and matcha tiramisu. Every one was very tasty especially the matcha tiramisu. The Ramen could have used more flavor and I has to ask the waiter to bring more spice. I knocked off 1 star because they originally brought me the same ramen but with pork when I clearly pointed to the chicken option in the menu. They promptly corrected the mixup. Overall this is a great spot if you are in the mood for Ramen and other dishes.

Comment: Been a patreon for a long time, but the food quality is dropping a bit. Ordered Tonkatsu meal, the meat was over fried and dry, the steam egg has a weird texture. The tempura shrimp from the udon was blend. On the seafood ramen, they were a little heavy handed on the seasame oil.On the up side, the portion is generous.

Comment: Google maps indicated that the restaurant closes at 10:30pm during a regular weekday from Mon to Thur. However, I called to verify and the kitchen closes at 10pm. When I arrived it was close to 10pm and yet the personable lady server reassured me and allowed me to put in my dine-in order. The food arrived quickly and was well prepared, attractive and delicious. I ordered miso ramen, grilled squid with lemon appetizer, clams steamed in saki, and straight hot macha tea. Everything was made perfectly with lots of ingredients and had great flavor. Ill be back to try more dishes.

Comment: I’ve been coming here for a will now and thought I should share what I think of the food. It’s definitely a to go place if your looking for japanese food that’s not just sushi. My recent favorites are their Unaju and Salmon mentai yaki soba. The unaju is really good with fresh fish and the sauce is balanced really well with a hint of sweetness that blends well with the saltness. The yaki soba is also seasoned well. It’s light but flavorful with a really good portion. The amount of salmon they put in is just right with the soba amount and I don’t know that else to say but really good(gotbthis again when ordering today). If your looking for dessert, then I think the matcha ice cream is the best choice. Unlike other matcha ice creams, their matcha flavored is much stronger and not overwhelming or bitter. The matcha is just really nice.

Comment: My favorite restaurant in Bayside. Their spicy tuna don is my go-to. I order this so much that I’d literally eat this for lunch everyday if I could 😅Their yuzu matcha lemonade 🍵🍋 is what dreams are made of. Bitter, sweet, and sour all at once making it one of my favorite drinks of all time. lf you love matcha I recommend their matcha ice cream, it is one of the best I’ve had in New York, outside of Japan. They are expanding, as I have seen smaller tea shop locations pop up across the city, Brooklyn, Long Island, but Bayside is the only place offering a full menu right now.

Comment: The waiters are very friendly and helpful and, most importantly, the food is awesome! I had a sip of Matcha shot and it was unforgettable! The Macha shot was creamy (I believe people wont expect that) and not bitter (to me) at all. If you tried it, I think u will ditch others so-called matcha drinks. (If you are caffeine sensitive, I recommend you not to drink at night) Besides Matcha items, noodles are also very flavorful, and the soup base is deep. If you get a chance, experience it yourself!

Comment: The servers and ambiance honestly made the dinner. The owner (presumably) and our server were some of the nicest people and checked in frequently to make sure everything was okay. The food was also great, but the broth could have been better compared to other shops in the area. Shishito peppers and the avocado salad were delicious. They make the rice in tea and its also very tasty. Very delicious green tea tiramisu. Many ramon choices for those who love it. Try it out. They also have an outdoor room for those who are not vaccinated and are very respectful in that area!

Comment: Baby loves it! He was slurping it down. No photo for privacy. We had the tochucha ramen (light and flavorful), matcha soba, and salmon donburi (perfectly grilled). Definitely one of the better Japanese mains that Ive had.We also went with the seasonal fresh tea set with matcha tiramisu. In particular, we had the yume kaori 2022, origin Kagoshima, which I thought was delicate, 清 (roughly translated clear/light), and flavorful. It came perfectly prepared after seeping 3min.

Comment: I had a lovely meal at Nippon Cha. I’ve been to this restaurant a couple times and am always pleased with the items I’ve ordered. One menu item I’ve fallen in love with and order every time I visit is the Hamachi with Ponzu. Tonight I tried the Spicy Tuna Don (which came with Miso Soup) and the Yaki Udon, they were both delicious. This restaurant also offers a variety of tea drinks and has a nice selection for my matcha lovers out there. Tonight I tried the Tochucha Yuzu Lemonade, it was very refreshing.

Comment: One of my go-to Ramen places in Queens! I love coming here because the food and service is always great and reliable. I have been coming here for the last 4 years and have never had a bad meal here.My favorites:1) Tonkatsu Ramen2) Shoyu Ramen3) Pork Buns4) Takoyaki5) Chicken WingsIt’s nice to come here with a group and split a bunch of appetizers. Then to finish the meal with a warm bowl of ramen. Their portions are good, and you will go home satisfied! All of their waiters and waitresses are very nice and helpful, and their service is fast and efficient. The parking in this area is a bit tough, mostly paid parking on the street or residential parking a bit further away.Overall the price is reasonable and I would highly recommend this place.

Comment: This is a hidden gem place in Queens. It is hard to find a good Japanese restaurant that is not carrying sushi or roll in Queens and it is as good as those popular places in Manhattan. The food is always clean and warm, and tasty without being too salty or sweet. During the pandemic we did take out and it was warm enough, but it is definitely good to dine-in. Hope that this place will be around for a long time.

Comment: My first visit wont be my last. Beautiful and welcoming interior that offers perfectly crafted matcha tea by the warm and friendly Angel (its his name not an adjective 😅). Of the appetizers we tried, the takoyaki was my favorite. The shishito peppers needed a little more time on the grill and the pork buns were decent. The shoyu ramen was delish; light and flavorful. The reason behind my 5 stars and the highlight of the visit was the spicy miso ramen. The spice was up there but not overly powerful and the taste was completely unexpected for a tea/ramen shop on Bell Boulevard. I had gone through a stretch of subpar ramen bowls in the past couple of years and the taste of this spicy miso ramen reignited my love for this dish. While the noodles could be a touch better, the flavor was undeniably top notch.

Comment: Good ramen, lots of choices. Great Takoyaki. The chashu pork was not super tender and soft like normally in most ramen, however they I guess grilled it a little just to get a slight grilled tasted which to me, made it different and tasty so I didnt mind. Comment: This is a local favorite!I often gravitate towards Asian cuisine and Ive always loved Japanese food and culture. And you get that from Nippon Cha. They have the BEST matcha and tea selections. The BEST ramen. Theres honestly nothing on their menu that I dont love.Pre-pandemic, Id often stop by here by myself and have a cup of coffee or something light. I honestly felt so comfortable there and a lot of that had to do with the staff. Sadly, theyve changed staff since then and I really miss them. Nao, Justin, Miki...they were such kind and hardworking individuals. But I felt very at peace. I love(d) Nippon Cha from the bottom of my heart.Around the summer of 2020, some of the staff members were rude. It wasnt a good experience. When my partner and I ordered an appetizer, an entree for the both of us and dessert, the waitress and waiter at the time were judgmental over the amount of food we ordered and I never felt comfortable going back again...Fast forward to 2021, there was another turnover in staff and the individuals seem professional and I started eating at the restaurant again. Theres been quite a few changes since the pandemic on Bell Blvd and I hope that Nippon Cha will always be here to stay.

Comment: As a customer for years, I just wanted to write a review after another great meal and great service (the new waitress with the short hair was very kind, attentive, courteous, and efficient). If you are a fan of Japanese food and/or matcha (hot/cold drinks and desserts), then this is the place to be. If you want to ease your way into Japanese food, then I highly recommend the rib-eye donburi (bowl), chicken teryaki dobuti, or salmon donburi; you will be hooked. If you are a coffee drinker, then I highly recommend the cold tochucha latte with oat milk. The taste is so amazingly flavorful that it does not need any sugar or syrup. The best way to describe it is a cross between coffee and tea. Trust me have a sip :o)I highly recommend overall (ambience, service, and great tasting food).-Rudy

Comment: Popular tea shop on Bell that also has really tasty food. The signature tochucha ramen here is notable as it incorporates the tochucha tea that the Nippon Cha brand is known for and is surprisingly refreshing for a style of dish that usually leans towards the heavier side. The rice bowls here are also decent including the popular spicy tuna don which is deceptively simple but ends up wonderfully creamy and rich. The biggest issues I can advise with this place, however, is that it is standard Bell Blvd pricing so it leans more expensive than usual and it also has consistency issues. When I order the spicy tuna don, some days it seems I get half an avocado and other days it seems like I get a few slivers and theres no explanation why.

Comment: The tou nyu ramen was delicious! I wish they had all their retail teas on the tea menu so customers can try the teas before purchasing. It think it would be a great way to make more tea sales as the weather gets colder. The current tea menu is mostly iced coffee and matcha drinks. You can ask for their house tea, but it has no flavor. My mom thought it was hot water.

Comment: Really good local ramen spot in my soon to be old neighborhood. I will say some small improvements are needed but still very very good. Octopus balls were very tasty, octopus slightly on the chewy side though. Wings were lacking that strong flavor but very well fried with great crunch. Pork in the Pork Buns was slightly dry but flavor was good. My Spicy Miso Ramen was full of flavor and just the right amount of kick.

Comment: BEST RAMEN PLACE. I fell in love the very first time I went to Nippon Cha and had their Negi (spicy pork broth) ramen. Super umami flavor and the portion size is large enough to satisfy anyone. Thats what I get everytime I to there, sometimes I share an order of dumplings with some friends as well. The aesthetic there is very nice, Japanese-styled accents and a very polite staff. The food however was very tasty, What I chose to get is the spicy miso ramen with egg noodles, and kudon chicken curry. The Ramen was probably one of the tastiest ramens I’ve had in a very long time, I loved the depth of flavor in the broth - mixed with veggies, meats and spices, I could go through another bowl right now just thinking about it, I will be returning again with my family

Comment: This is a very nice quiet traditional shop. The food is amazing, I have had countless things on their menu so far just to name a few automatic go to items if your new to the cuisine.1)Katsu curry (very different from indian curry its sweat) breaded and fried pork cutlet with curry, it comes with a side of salad and mise soup its filling its flavor full and you can never go wrong.2)miso ramen very simple but extremely flavorful and filling, they have two types of noodles egg noodle and a noodle that is special to the shop I suggest their specialty noodle it flavor full and adds a nice flavor to the dish. Spicy miso is just as delicious and dont worry their spice level is not that high.3) takoyaki is an appetizer which they absolutely crush, it is an octopus fried ball, the ball its self is crispy on the outside and very soft and creamy on the inside with a nice fresh tasting piece of octopus in the center, they cover it with japanese mayo and a sweet sauce and Benito flakes.4)I forget the actual name but they have a yellow tail sashimi with jalapeno a dollop of sriracha and a soy sauce of some sort its always fresh tasting and delicious. They have Sets and Donburi bowls, and a whole variety of other food items, and their deserts and teas are un comparable in the neighborhood. To make along review short I highly recomend Nippon Cha you will never be disappointed. And for the quality the cheapest place to each food in bayside. I have paid double for food I regretted instantly never once have I been disappointed here. And you wont be either

Comment: Nippon Cha has been in my bucket list for months and it’s totally worth a try! We highly recommend to make a reservation since it’s really popular. The food was amazingly delicate, delicious and we can feel how much the chef cares about what they cook. Our favorite was Unatama set which was el and scramble egg in skillet with miso soup, salad, side and chawanamushi (Japanese steam egg). The el was well flavored, tender and a great match with rice.Their service was also friendly and attentive. We ordered their ribeye steak and it came in well done, super chewy so we made a complaint to the staff. They served us with a new dish in medium rare immediately. We also want to try their matcha dessert and we definitely plan our next visit.

Comment: A very nice Japanese restaurant with a menu that isn’t overwhelming to look at. It’s not a big restaurant, but it was packed the whole time I was there with my party for dinner. Everything from appetizers to entrees and dessert was delicious. The food was flavorful and filling. I would assume most people come here to eat ramen, but I went with don buri. They have ramen dishes, and you can make your own ramen adding what you want. In my opinion, a party of 5 for $100 bill wasn’t bad at all. I would definitely come back to eat.

Comment: Great place, lovely atmosphere, affordable pricing. Ordered the Negi ramen and it did not disappoint. Very tender pork, delicious broth, great noodles. I watched their tea master make a parfait with such care and precision to the little details of its presentation it made me really appreciate the thought that went into making it.

Comment: Service was great. Clean restaurant. Nice ambiance. Went during a weekday in the afternoon so it was quiet. Food was fresh and delicious. Had the Negi Ramen and there are lots of additional options available for adding to the ramen. After paying the bill, we hung around got a bit and despite having already paid, they would still refill our tea. Ive only been to a handful of restaurants that care enough about their patrons to do that. I highly recommend this place!Lots of bars and shops in the surrounding area. Parking was a bit rough and I imagine it to be harder to find a spot during peak business hours.

Comment: The service was excellent. The food was so delicious! We tried the shishito peppers, the wings, and had iced match lattes. Then we had the spicy miso ramen and the nagi with their signature noodles, worth the extra dollar!!! So full afterwards! I wish it was closer to my house!

Comment: Really amazing food with a short wait time. I have to say this place stands out from other ramen restaurants. First off the food options are great and the portion are generous. Presentation is 5 star and the flavor is great and goes beyond! Dont forget the desert. Okay so the only downside is the amazing donunts are not available for dinner since they get sould out...but the desert on menu is also great so you win either way.

Comment: I came here for the ramen, but also ended up ordering some tofu, and squid appetizers, and I didnt come away disappointed. The noodles were fresh, the broth not too heavy, and attentive staff. Orders came out quickly, and food was flavorful. All in all this would be a place I check out again. However, parking is hard to find in the immediate area.

Comment: The ramen here is great, almost as good as the places next to NYU. But the truly great thing about this place is their tea (its a tea house after all). Their matcha is not too sweet like other places and is deep in flavor, and even their complementary tea is deep. A great place for a quick bite or a date course.

Comment: Ramen broth that isn’t overly salty!! Amazing!I ordered the chicken ramen and it was extremely flavorful without being overly salty or heavy. Although I’m not a fan of the chicken slices, I think maybe fried or grilled chicken placed on top before serving would work better.Another winner was the tuna bowl! Man that spicy tuna with all the ingredients over some warm sushi rice was out of sight. As for appetizers, the fried chicken wings and takoyaki were everyone’s favorite. Chicken wings were citrusy sweet goodness while the takoyaki were creamy and fluffy balls of octopus. My wife also loves their matcha latte, perfect for after a bowl of hot noodles.

Comment: Agree with all the positive reviews seen here. The food, actually the ramen with tea noodle, the pork bon and the salad were great. The soups were so delicious. The salmon and vegetable were fresh. In terms of the quality and quantity of the Japanese “style” food, this restaurant has nothing less than any other famous restaurants in Manhattan, such as Ippdon. The price is reasonable and the service was quick and nice. Only one rest room here. The parking on Bell Avenue was difficult. But you can manage to get parking if you drive into the side streets. Credit cards are accepted.

Comment: This is a wonderful addition to the Bayside neighborhood and has become one of my to go spots for meetups with friends. It has awesome food (consistent deliciousness!), great and humble customer service, clean facilities, and more. The ramen here is excellent and rivals even those in the city. Their desserts are my favorite part though. I love how authentic their teas taste and their desserts shine through with that tea flavor. The presentation is also a plus. Waiters and waitresses are very professional and accommodating. All in all, this is not your average Japanese restaurant! It is way more!

Comment: I loved the eel rice, tochucha latte, matcha/tochucha ice cream. The eel rice was bwtter than the $50 eel rice I had in japane. The ice cream is comparable to the ones I had in Japan. Environment is relaxing, and our waiter was very friendly.

Comment: I came here with my sister to eat, but unfortunately had to leave early to catch a train. I did, however, get food to go. The food was delicious and service was fabulous. The ramen I got to go was very filling and the broth was amazing. Meanwhile, my sister stayed at the restaurant and ate with a friend. The pictures Ive attached are those that my sister took during her stay. I plan on coming back soon to try more of their foods and drinks (their matcha drinks look really good).

Comment: I came in expecting tiny portions and mediocre quality sea urchin with that kind-of-fresh-but-not-really taste. I was pleasantly surprised. The spicy tuna don i got was HUGE, and the steamed egg custard with uni had a surprise scallop in the middle. Quality of the tuna mince was on point, and it was ACTUALLY spicy. The miso soup it came with had really solid flavor, the kelp and tofu in it was seasoned well. 10/10, I left full and happy :) will definitely come back to try their tea sets and dessert**check in with them on yelp for free booze!!

Comment: I was really impressed, but I came in with pretty low expectations. Not a fan of trendy places as they can often rely on their cache rather than their performance. This place performed, and had a nice vibe to it. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Got the steak and it was excellent. Everyone I ate with was very happy. Place gets packed and is busy, but staff never rushed us even with 2 small children under 3. Matcha and coffee drinks were really good.

Comment: I am giving them 4.5 stars. We have been there many times and I haven’t rated them until now. They changed their menu recently and added many special items from appetizer to dessert. We like the place a lot, very good food, friendly services and reasonable price. Definitely will go back. The 0.5 stars is taken away due to uncomfortable seating. My wife said I am picky and I don’t disagree. My wife is giving them 5 stars definitely.

Comment: Ive been here a few times, most recently today. The servers are very young but friendly. The food quality has definitely improved since the previous times I have been here. I ordered a seasonal special (spicy tuna donburi) and my parents ordered the unagi don (grilled eel and egg donburi) and the ribeye steak donburi set. All items were delicious and hit the spot. We have traveled to Japan before and I believe the food is very authentic and same quality. The ribeye set was great and cooked perfectly, very tender and flavorful. My mother enjoyed her unagi don. I also enjoyed my spicy tuna donburi. If you like tea, you should also try out some of their drinks and special desserts. Ive had the matcha affogato before and it was very delicious. The teas are great quality. The atmosphere is nice and tastefully decorated, down to the ceramics choices used for serving the food and the high quality disposable chopsticks they use. Prices are very good/reasonable for the quality of food you are getting, plus entrees/main dishes come with miso soup. I imagine it would be 1.5x-2x the price in Manhattan for the same quality food. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Comment: Spur of the moment find, and what a gem it was. Ordered the Spicy Tuna Donburi. It was GOOD. The spicy tuna had a real kick to it. Avocado and poached egg complimented the fish really well. I cant wait to go back. Parking can be a problem on Bell Boulevard. I usually find a spot on 38th along the residential area. Oh, the service is really good here.

Comment: A great Tea House and Japanese food place. The tea is plentiful and varied and works its way into the menu. The menu itself, is genuine Japanese food and not just sushi. Oh no, there is no sushi here and that is a good thing. Their offers are plentiful and delicious and definitely dip into the unique and interesting.Despite being full there was hardly a wait. The atmosphere is great as is the service and cleanliness. This place however is expensive. Much on the menu can be considered over priced. But it its what you pay for quality wise.

Comment: I was excited to try this Japanese restaurant on Bell Blvd in Baysides restaurant row. Hoping to find a ramen place that was decent enough to short cut having to go into the city. Bottom line - jury is still out. First of all, the focus of this place is green tea. Which explains their name. Second of all, the all important noodles were quite good, but the tonkatsu broth was ... different. From the start then. The space itself is a little cozy. Regular tables up front and middle, a slightly elevated section in the back right, and a tea bar in the back left. Its not fancy but its not a shack either. For the three of us, we ordered the octopus balls and fried chicken for appetizer and then two tonkatsu ramen and a tuna sashimi salad. First the salad. It was red chunks of sushi grade tuna on greens in a staying that Ive never had before. It definitely has wasabi and maybe soy sauce in it. But it paired really well with the actual salad. Next the octopus balls. They were golf ball sized balls of breaded chopped up octopus bits with fish flakes for flavor. A little gooey inside with a bit of creamy salty sauce. Good portion size - 8. The ramen was definitely good. It had two chunky pieces of charsiu pork, the soft boiled eggs, and some bamboo shoots (?). All good but the broth was not what I was expecting. The noodles had the nice bouncy firm with good bite texture you get in a real ramen shop. Then the fried chicken came out. Yes, I think they forgot and my main complaint that the apps came after. But it was good. Huge chunks of chicken thigh meat, deep fried in a light batter. Warning. The thing was HOT and stayed hot even after a few minutes. The meat was juicy inside. After a small squeeze of lemon and a light dumbo in the soy sauce doing sauce, delicious. Lastly, my son wanted to try the dessert and got the green tea latte float. Green tea ice cream scoop in a tall glass with green tea and milk. Not overly sweet and a lot of green tea flavor. The waitress kept refilling our mugs with free hot tea the entire time. True to Japanese food, kind of pricy for the three of us but a good first time - well be back to try some more.

Comment: The food is very delicious. Upon my first visit with my friends we all picked up some ramen and we were all very satisfied. This place is a great bang for your buck and I now frequent it. The staff is very friendly and the place is very appealing to the eyes. It just makes you feel like you are in a restaurant in Japan.
