Comment: Impressive quality and value for both the omakase and handroll bar. Though, I think the best time to visit is for $10 handroll happy hour prices on weekdays from 2-5pm.For handrolls, the salmon pate and grilled yellowtail pate are so unique and delicious - I’d highly recommend giving a try.

Comment: This is a great omakaze experience around the corner of my house. It’s stellar high-end cousin Sushi Noz is next door so I have to assume they share ingedients abd quality - although the pricing is on completely different scales. I will be back often. It was absolutely delicious!

Comment: Noz Market is an outstanding restaurant. I went there for lunch and had a great time. The sushi is fresh and the chef is knowledgeable and friendly. From king salmon to belt-fish to the shrimp, everything was exquisitely prepared .The lunch comes with about 9 courses and towards the end you can add additional items at various price points. From beginning to end, I enjoyed the experience and food.

Comment: The Noz Market Omakase was incredible! I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate a special occasion. We really enjoyed watching the sushi chef masterfully craft each piece. My favorites included the scallop, mackerel, and fatty tuna. Also the pumpkin dessert, tamago, and fish broth were delightful!FYI in case anyone is wondering - theres an automatic 18% service charge and no additional tipping is allowed. This is charged when making the prepaid reservation on Tock as well as on any a la carte items you might order in person. Its a reasonable fee for the excellent service; I just wanted to point this out because I was initially confused whether the 18% fee on Tock was a reservation fee or the tip.

Comment: Wonderful value to experience the supreme sushi of Noz in a more casual (and affordable) environment … the bar is standing only but the chef is so involved and the setting so intimate it might as well be an omakase. Takeaway is also offered … but why are you eating takeaway Michelin star sushi?

Comment: For those days you just enjoy great quality of sashimi at home if not at the counter at Noz, you come to Noz Market to pick up a good box. The crew at Noz Market pay attention to just fish, but they come with all sorts of seaweed you almost get a whole fish tank and sea brine home.

Comment: The quality here is just unmatched. Probably my favorite omakase you can try for $85/person. It’s the same quality as Sushi Noz but for a cheaper price. They do takeout and a standing hand roll bar too!

Comment: 🤤: tbh, couldn’t have asked for a better lunch omakase option ($85 + tax + service charge of 20%). it’s both high-quality and affordable, without any compromises. we were even lucky to taste the miso soup cooked by Chef Noz himself on that day.😰: maybe a tiny dessert to end the meal but couldn’t have asked for more at this price point.was an absolute treat. will definitely be back to try their dinner omakase.

Comment: I had handrolls at standing served area with my friend and the tastes were quite nice. Very fresh seafoods with warm rice and crispy seawood makes it an awesome combination.Although I enjoyed my visit, I’m not sure if I will be revisiting just for the handrolls. From the fact that it is served in standing area and also the chef there literally hands you over one by one, it kinda puts me in this mindset that I can’t really relax and take my time to enjoy the foods. In terms of how fast I get to finish the foods, it was almost like I’m at fast foods restaurant, although by no means anybody was chasing us or anything. One thing I was actually unhappy was that they charge you with 20% service fee by default in the final bill but yet still leave the tip section blank in the receipt as if tip still needs to be separately specified and paid. That’s not straightforward.I liked overall bright/clean/open atmosphere of the restaurant and they also had sitting area for sushi omakase, so maybe I will visit for that. But again, not for handrolls.I went to eat Japanese seaweed (のり巻き), but since it was a place to eat while standing, I personally found it difficult to enjoy it slowly. The taste was really good, but do you really want to go back? It doesnt lift. The price on the receipt is the price with a 20% tip, so you dont have to tip again.

Comment: Tried the Noz Market omakase and it did not disappoint. Even at a much lower price point than Sushi Noz, the sourcing and preparation was top-tier. The quality is the same as their sister restaurant, just with fewer courses but the flexibility to add more and customize your meal. A really great place to bring family and friends who might not all be into the full Noz experience. I can confidently say this is the best sushi you can get in NYC at this price point. In fact their $145 omakase is probably better than most $250+ offerings in the city.

Comment: An authentic Japanese experience. The standing eating experience makes me more in tune with what I’m eating. The two times I’ve been there I’ve never had to wait a long time. The hand rolls were so fresh and beautiful. The tuna was not stringy, it melts your mouth. The shiso leaf hand roll was amazingly refreshing and aromatic. Definitely the best hand roll shop in nyc

Comment: I tried the standing hand roll bar. You access the bar using the same entrance as the market. The place has an excellent and varied selection of hand rolls. The fish tasted fresh. The seaweed was crispy. They have sets that go from 3, 4, or 6. You can add caviar to any hand roll for an extra fee.For drinks, they have a couple of sake and beer options. They have a more extensive selection of teas that you can have hot or cold.

Comment: Lovely, unique experience (new standing setup) with the best handrolls weve ever had. Uni, scallop, and toro were the most memorable. On the pricier side ($210 all-in for the 4 temaki set, 6 temaki set, and 2 of the premium add-on handrolls) but worth it as a treat.

Comment: Obsessed doesnt even begin to cover our thoughts on Noz Market. As long-time sushi lovers, weve been looking for a delivery spot that could recreate the same level of quality and taste that youd get sitting at a sushi counter. To say Noz Market achieves that, and then some, would be an huge understatement! Each bite was better than the last! We really cant speak highly enough of their menu, the fish, the staff, and the atmosphere. Cant wait to place our next order!

Comment: Delicious on point hand rolls. We did the outdoor dining, the room had two heat lamps that made it very comfortable. Where the lost the star for me was the server was clueless. Simple question what are the juices can you describe them? Can I please have 1 of each of the specials. I dont know what they are can you tell me what rolls youre looking for? I was wondering why I should even tip him. I mean 20% on a 150$ bill is significant when the server doesnt know his position.

Comment: This place is delicious! I loved my scallop hand roll and the uni/ikura hand roll. It looks pricy, but dont forget that you sometimes pay $16+ for one uni sushi at any given high end sushi place. They give you much more in quantity than that in the hand roll and quality is superb. It was a nice little snack after a central park bike ride. Would love to go back and shop here as the market selection looks amazing, but its quite far from where I live to call it convenient.

Comment: A place where you can buy exquisite sashimi. It is attached to Michelin-certified Sushi Nozu, and the fish that is also available at the store is sold to the public. There are varieties such as Botan shrimp that are not often sold in Japanese supermarkets, and sashimi boxes are recommended when you want to eat seafood bowl at home. You can have it inside the store, but space is limited, so we recommend taking it out.
