Comment: Went to Ocean for a pre-Christmas Eve Seven Fishes dinner over the weekend, It was absolutely fabulous! Both the sushi and sashimi were superbly fresh and presented beautifully. Service was efficient and pleasant, despite having a full house and plenty of takeout orders being prepared and going out the door. We hadnt been to Ocean in a very, very long time but the owner and waitstaff still remembered us and greeted us warmly. Definitely worth the trip from the north end of the island, and definitely be back. Many thanks to the team at Ocean for another delicious and memorable night!

Comment: Moving out to NJ, the only thing I miss about Staten Island besides my family is Michelle and Ocean Sushi. I still order to go if Im passing through or sit down if i have time to spend.The sushi is always fresh and they bring in exotics for specials so you can pick other options besides tuna and salmon.The Uni (sea urchin) was so fresh that you have to fish them out from the sea to have any better. The tuna and fatty tuna were great. And the rolls are also very good.All the fish was fresh and tasty. My Salmon Skin Roll was bursting with crisp strips of salmon skin and the spicy tuna HR was flavorful and packed.The service is always friendly at this neighborhood sushi spot. They are welcoming and attentive.Youll never go wrong here.

This time my boyfriend went to the door to pay upon arrival and the change was not figured out properly on account of both parties. When the driver realized the mistake he called to make me aware that I may have possibly overtipped him and to inquire if we wanted our money back. Of course I thanked him for his honestly and let him keep it. Just another confirmation of why we always choose Ocean!

Its on staten island in a small strip mall but dont let that fool you this place serves up Manhattan quality food in a cozy setting . Comment: The food is good here. The sushi is fresh, with no fishy smell or taste. They’re as creative as they can be, considering many of the clientele on Staten Island are not too daring. The drinks are also tasty although I would stick to beer and sake as the prices may be a bit steep and they are more sweet than they are strong. I like the ambiance and during the week there’s usually no wait for a table. The only issue would be the price. An outer borough location shouldn’t hit so deep in the wallet. That being said you won’t mind shelling out for nice evening out this side of the bridge.

Comment: I really only ate appetizers this time, but I will update my review when I come around next time. I think I must have drank 2 liters of hot tea, they were double-timing the tea refill, and me, like a stupid cow kept drinking it until I felt like exploding. Needless to say, the servers were attentive. The food I tried was good.

Comment: Ocean Sushi is my favorite place to get sushi. Everything is fresh and the food never disappoints. My favorite is the beef negimaki bento box and the spicy Kani roll. Besides the food being delicious and fairly priced, the staff is absolutly amazing. Excellent customer service!

Comment: Ocean sushi is a new restaurant in annadale and I must say i was not disappointed. The service was top of the line and the workers were very helpful when it came to explaining different dishes and suggesting what we may enjoy. The quality of the fish is second to none and as someone who thoroughly enjoys sushi I can tell that all the fish was fresh. They even have a bar which was nice because me and my wife were able to have an couple drinks with our meal. All in all it was an excellent dining experience and I would recommend Ocean Sushi to anyone. Me and my family will sure be regulars from now on!
