The fish is always fresh and affordable!! The people are friendly !! There’s a huge assortment of gourmet rolls and they’re on point in every way !! 5 stars ⭐️!! My family and friends all agree

Comment: This is, hands down, the BEST sushi restaurant I have ever been to. I’ve gone to other more expensive places with fancy interiors and lights but none can compete with Okeno. Their Jade roll is to die for, the perfect balance of spicy raw fish, avocado, crunchy bits, and green onion. I’ve tried to find other places with rolls as delicious and well made as these, but no luck. Their service is wonderful, they always remember their regulars, even after years of being away in another state, they still remembered my name and my face! I plan to have them cater my wedding whenever that is, it is truly the best and honestly most affordable sushi for the elite quality! You have to try them if you haven’t! We used to love getting the bento boxes too when we’d have lunch dates. Super tasty, very friendly, and so fast! Love them! Oh! Also love their miso soup! Got me through some bad colds and flus! Still haven’t found another sushi place with miso soup that is as flavorful as theirs!

Comment: Amazing place in terms of food and service but zero atmosphere for any group above two! Dine in with my wife, we had the Sunday lunch bento box (priced at dinner rate), dragon roll and wasabi shumai that was part of the aperitif of the day. Tasty food I must say. They do have sake, plum wine and Japanese beer so if youre just a couple thats not on your first or second date, wanting some really good Japanese food around BNL (no ramen here) this is the place! I think in terms of take out, Id rank this the best Asian restaurant East of Seldon.

Comment: In Shirley, there are not that many options when it comes to Japanese food. It is worth noting that Okeno Sushi is one sushi restaurant that is not Hibachi style.I brought my client to Okeno Sushi for lunch today. The restaurants interior is not large but consists of a narrow hallway. A simple table and chairs set up along the right wall are not good for a large group.As you would expect from a sushi restaurant, the picture menu is easy to navigate. Drinks are served first, followed by appetizers. Approximately 10 minutes elapse, our set lunches arrive. The food looked fresh and well presented at first glance. It was an amazing lunch.Overall, do not expect a nice ambient or fancy restaurant rather than is nice spot for lunch and dinner with great Japanese food.

Comment: I gotta say, for a simple order like mine they sure nailed it. The 3 Aslan rolls Ahmad a generous amount of salmon and the ride was sift and sticky. The price was cheaper than yesterdays order at a larger restaurant, if I had to choose Id pick okeno. This place is a Dimond in the rough.

Comment: This place is super clean and the staff works really quickly. Their menu is super cheap and they are clearly loved in their side of town. Good spots for rolls though I have not tried anything else. Their specialty roll menu is delicious and very clear to read. From the look of the outside, you would never be able to tell how beautifully decorated this restaurant is. The tile in the vestibule is beautiful. There are specials posted everywhere, there is a to-go counter for pick ups, tables for dining and of course a super clean sushi bar with seating. Looking forward to going back soon.
