Comment: My mother and I had the pleasure of dining at Oko in Rye.Marysol and Sarah provided great service! They knew the menu inside and out and elevated our entire dining experience. Both couldn’t have been any nicer.With regards to the food. Everything was top notch. We were super impressed by the Marinated King Salmon Poke with smoked soy, white miso aioli, arugula, and nori. The Lotus Root Tempura. The Uni Toast with milk bread, umeboshi, goat’s milk butter, and smoked trout roe. The Pork Belly Boa with squid caramel, black garlic aioli, and napa kimchi. And, the Cedar Smoked Black Cod Nigiri with crispy beets, and horseradish.Oko is a small intimate space great for an evening out, serving top quality food and staffed with even greater people!!

Comment: Beautiful interior with equal level food.Amazing portions and delicately crafted sushi.We came here for a family style dinner for a party of 5 and ordered the 10 piece sushi, 3 hand roll, the oko sandwich (which was great) and the set (which was also really great).Nice spot in Rye for Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend.

Comment: What a great experience we had eating at Oko in Rye tonight! The food was outstanding and was not just your basic bland Japanese restaurant. No basic thin slice of grilled chicken with teriyaki sauce here - was a nice serving of perfectly flavored and seared dark meat. But what really set this place apart was the service! Spectacular is an understatement. They anticipated everything and couldnt be more accommodating and friendly. Havent felt this welcome in a restaurant in a long time! Thank you!! See you again real soon!

Comment: Great food and service! Rachael (server) had great recommendations and we got to talk to Chef Fecedio who made us some amazing dishes!I never get to outside my comfort zone with sushi- but did here was so glad I did. My favorite were the pork bao and crispies.Cant wait to come back!

Comment: The sushi was delicious. Small portions, well presented and very flavorful. If you are hungry, though, it can be quite an expensive dinner. The cocktails are interesting. Made with fresh ingredients, they tend to on the bland side. The Ginger and Lychee were barely detectable our drinks. Servers were very attentive and courteous. Overall a very good b-day dinner.

Comment: Wow!! I forget everything that we ordered, and ate; but holy cow was it all good!! So, I cant really describe whats in the photos too well other than saying that it was pure goodness and savory. The beef in the bento box (the 1st pic) was tender, cooked just right, and was full of flavor.The 2nd pic shows various items that we ordered, and I can say that every item was delicious. My only complaint is that I didnt have enough room in my stomach to eat it all, because I would have if I could have. The cocktails were great; I do remember that I had a Japanese Old Fashioned that was just pure perfection.Friendly staff, that are knowledgeable on the menu items, and they make great suggestions and recommendations on things that you should try.Make sure you stop by, and see for yourself. You definitely wont be disappointed!

Comment: Incredible and unique sushi. Not your standard sushi restaurant. The hand rolls are smaller and cone shaped, with a seaweed wrapper. The mushroom and eggplant tempura was fantastic; battered and fried vegetables. Definitely try the chef choice nigiri and sashimi courses. Cant wait to come back here!

Comment: One of the best sashimi restaurant experiences I have had. The pricing is high, so expect near Manhattan pricing, however you are getting top quality sashimi and ambience. Highly recommend — their wine menu is also paired extremely well with the dishes!

Imo, the fish were the highest quality and the tastes are out of this world... On tap sake (Bklyn Kura) was smooth, sweet, and delicious... Otoro, Chutoro, and Black Cod to die for... Would highly recommend this location and will definitely be back again...

Comment: SO HAPPY they are open again. This is hands down the best restaurant in Rye, if not all of Westchester. Everything on the menu I’ve tried is jaw dropping, but my favorites are the foie gras sushi, scallops with truffle, uni toast, glazed black cod, and the broccoli tempura. You can order online and set a time to pick up. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

Comment: My fiancee and I went here tonight and frankly I dont know where to begin other than saying this restaurant is amazing and a MUST TRY for Westchester! My fiancee and I tried the Shiseido peppers, the Bao Bun, and the Jonah Crab Dumplings; all of which were absolutely amazing! Not if, but WHEN you go to this restaurant order the Bao Bun, you will not be disappointed.... Trust me! For dinner she had the chefs selection nirgini and told me it was the best sushi she ever had! I agree! I had the Hamachi Shashimi and the spicy tuna hand roll and IT WAS AMAZING! Trust me, if youre in the Rye area, check that, the WESTCHESTER area, you have to try this restaurant out!
