Comment: I picked up sushi for lunch today (takeout + pick up) and food quality was great. The woman at the front spoke English. Nobody was at the restaurant so the turnaround was quick. Theres a credit card minimum so bring cash. Your order is tax free if paid with cash. Ill come back next time and see if quality is consistent.

I have to travel a extra 7 miles but it was worth it lol and the Belt Parkway was unbelievably great at 8pm which made it better

Buy one, get one free special sushi rolls as well as BOGO chef special appetizers, both when you dine in and take out (I believe, for take out as well) they’ve got great desserts and bubble teas. It’s a little hole in the wall but it’s usually pretty busy because they’re delicious! I used to go to the one on 86th Street but I’m closest to this one in Avenue U. Parking is usually pretty easy to find, at least when I go. Worth it!

Comment: Me and all of my family went to Omiya Restaurant for years, probably since the place first opened up, would refuse to eat sushi and asian anywhere else, loved the place so much but lately we have been greatly dissapointed by the quality of fish that is being used and the fact that lots of dishes are being modified from their usual recipes to I guess cut the corners, less fish is being used in lots of dishes and lots of crunch as they call it is mixed in with thee fish for volume (crunch is the fried bread crumb). We got sick few times not long ago from eating there, some dishes we ordered last time were inedible, especially fresh fish dishes. Too sad as we used to love going there and order out. Their prices are affordable only wish they get their act together.

Comment: Always great sushi and great service.As a resident of the midwood/marine park area, we all know good food is hard to come by and certainly the diversity is very scarce. The sushi here is probably the best in terms of price and fish to rice ratio. The fish is fresh and you get plenty of it. They always have great deals going on. I would highly recommend it for take out or dine in.

Comment: We tried a few local sushi spots and luckily we tried a new one. Omiya has fantastic food, excellent prices and fast delivery. They are polite and give you enough chop sticks, napkins, soy sauce and all other amenities you need for a night in.The rolls were fresh, my kids inhaled the udon soup and the Kani salad was great. No complaints and only rave reviews. Well worth trying!

Comment: This is easily the diner of sushi in brooklyn. The menu here is tremendous and the quality of the food does not suffer. The special rolls are buy one get one free and 4 of these can easily feed two people to the point of borderline passing out. The tuna here is bountiful and fresh no matter the season and there is surprisingly never a wait. The waitresses float around here and you can grab anyone of them and order, they dont have assigned tables. Parking here is also quite easy.

I have been going there for years and I still go back even though I moved over 30 mins away. It is still the best Sushi place I have ever been to. The decor is simple, its not a fancy location.
