Comment: So delicious!! First thing I noticed was the beautiful presentation, that the nigiri were wraped with a strip of seaweed. May be a small touch but most places do not do the little things. Another small thing that mattered to me was that they used a higher quality brand of chopsticks than most. Back to the food, the Salmon Hand Roll was something I had never tried before, and I do think I will stick with regular rolls and nigiri but it was good! Seems portable, held up well and very tasty. The Miso Soup was great, came hot, and the tofu was the perfect consistency. The two types of nigiri I got were salmon and crabstick, both of them tasted really delicious. The rice was packed together so it wouldnt fall apart, but not so much it would be tough. Will be ordering again. :)

Comment: The place looks good. And its a lot of space inside. Was empty when we visited the place, but it looks new. Ive tried Pho Bo (beef) and it was good. Not the best pho bo in my life, but it was good. The service was also very nice. Wouldnt have any problem to visit this restaurant again and try something else.

Comment: Waves is in my normal rotation for lunch spots downtown. Service is always fast, friendly, and accommodating. I especially appreciate how they actually honor substitutions or comments on mobile orders, unlike a lot of places these days. I usually get the Bangkok fried rice or the Pad Thai, which are always solid. The ambiance and decor inside seem nice for dine in. Overall would recommend. 4.5/5 -BJ

Comment: I came here for lunch and they have some good specials. It was pretty empty when I got there but they had only been open like an hour (it was also cold out). I ordered two California rolls, and a Thai bento box (came with a soup as well). It was good and not expensive for the amount of food received. I think it was less than 20 bucks? I cant remember the exact total. The service was also good, the waitress I had was really polite and attentive. I would definitely recommend for lunch, if this place was closer to home this would be my sushi spot.

Comment: I was initially disappointed since we were expecting the all you can eat menu they used to have. But, everything we ordered was quite good including the fiery udon noodles with veggies (though I wanted it with steamed tofu and the waitress said no so I only had the veggies), the white tuna sushi pizza, and a surprisingly large seaweed salad that was unusual in that it had lots of iceburg lettuce and some dried cranberries in additional to a generous serving of seaweed. I hope it survives because of the reasonable pricing, fresh, well prepared dishes, spacious, somewhat artful decor, and good service.

The tablet setup to order AYCE was very inventive and made ordering faster and easier as it provided photos of what you were ordering as well as a description.Sushi pizza was interesting and new. The sushi taco fell a little short though. For the price though definitely worth it.

Comment: If you are looking for a fun place to dine tonight, this is the place.As you walk in you are greeted by happy smiling people, (i do recommend a reservation on weekends). They will bring you to your table and hand a couple of ipads for you to order. Which at first seems weird but once you get used to it, it makes sense, because you can order food whenever you feel like it and it just shows up at the table.. FUN>Its clean, the staff are happy and friendly, and the food is delicious.I highly recommend

Comment: 1st time here today. All you can eat Japanese, Sushi,Thai, Vietnamese.cuisine.I was impressed the menu is extensive and the servings are small. All the better for me to try more of the many portions of food. The food for the most part is not spicy but I found most was light and flavorful. There was a bar with a large selection of alcohol beverages. Nice assortment of sweets my favorite was the passion fruit jello!?!. Comment: Got the passion fruit juice and the Viet box. It was very good and came with a lot of food considering how cheap it was. I was so stuffed I didn’t even finish all of it. My mom got the Pad Thai which was also delicious. I was expecting it to be more packed since it was a Friday night but maybe people don’t know about it? I’m definitely gonna visit again though
