Comment: Omg these are so good. Creamy, full of flavor, and just the right amount of sugar. I had the original, lemon, and ube (they were out of matcha, but still offered about 10 different options around 12:30pm on a Tuesday).Theyre a little pricey at around $5 each, but totally worth a treat. Theres not really anywhere to sit, so theyre best taken to go.

Comment: Cute little shop with cute little tarts! The fillings are light and airy and just dissolve in your mouth, especially if you heat them up in the oven beforehand. They can also be enjoyed straight out of the fridge or at room temp.Theres a bunch of different flavors too. I enjoyed the ube and black sesame the most. The flavors are quite mild, which may or may not be up your alley. The pastry is baked twice and crisp. Each tart is a bit over $3, which is pretty reasonable given how much work goes into each of these airy dairys. Buy 6 for around $22 and bring them to a party. They’ll be a hit 👍

Comment: Amazing tarts!! I love that this business was started by two immigrant sisters. The location seats in the lower part of Chinatown and it’s worth every penny. Their service is amazing.I wish they had more seating but for the size of the shop their window seats do the job.

Comment: The burnt basque cheesecake is all that I look for in a cheesecake: light and fluffy cheesecake that has the mild flavor of cheese, caramel flavor from the toasing of the top, and a delicious crust. Some how, the plain cheese tart is even better. Like the perfect couple of bits of cheesy clouds, the tart has just enough crust and more than enough flavor. Well worth the stop!

Comment: The cheese tarts here are really good! We got the original and ube and we loved both of them. The cheese part of the tart is light and airy (and not too sweet!) and theyre held in by a shortbread tart on the bottom. The shortbread tart is a bit hard in my opinion (since its kept in the fridge), but still pretty good.

Comment: While walking in NYC Chinatown today, there is a petite establishment that caught our attention located on 11 Mott Street. Opened summer 2020, Pink Lady Cheese Tart makes fluffy palm-sized Japanese baked cheese tarts. All 200-300 a day are made in the tiny kitchen at the back of the store. Their crusts are double baked for the crispy texture. The cheese mousse is made with white cheeses, cream cheese, cream, just a little sugar which is almost like a whipped filling. The 8 flavors were Original, Black Sesame, Ube/Purple Yam, Matcha, Lemon, Chocolate, Strawberry Milkshake and Original with Blueberry Jam. Their newest addition is the 4” Basque Burnt Cheesecake. My partner, my cousin and I had ordered the lemon, chocolate and original with blueberry jam. They were very fresh served at room temperature which each tart had distinctive flavor without being too overpowering. We loved the fact they werent dense and heavy like NY style cheesecakes at $3.20 each. Friendly and welcoming place which we can recommend and definitely be coming back to taste the rest of the flavors.

Comment: I need more stars to give this place! I was walking down Mott and something smelled so GREAT, I had to know where it was coming from. I walked in, had no idea what a cheese tart even was, and walked out with the most delicious treat. I may need to go try more flavors tomorrow. I got the original and matcha flavors. Both good, but I’m not a huge matcha person so my preference may lean towards the original. Can’t wait to try ‘em all. And customer service was A+ 👍🏼 Get yourself to Pinklady!

Their boba is a little different than other boba places Ive tried, they have more of a bite to them rather than being chewy, but I really enjoyed it! The store is super clean and cute, and the employees are really friendly as well!

The yogurt mango drink has such an amazing real mango flavor combined with the yogurt was excellent. The drink was not super think. The cheese tart was so delicious. The matcha was also delicious, a bit sweeter and with a fluffier texture. The crust is thinner but harder than a cheesecake or pie crust, and tastes almost like a shortbread cookie. Description is not doing these justice - go and try them out for yourself! There are different flavors as well if you want to be more adventurous.

Comment: The place is a small building located among the many restaurants on Mott Street but it was well worth the effort to come here. Their cheese tarts are small but make up for it in flavor with its shortbread cookie like crust to the cheese mousse that comes in 8 flavors. The best part about it is that whether you eat it hot or cold, it still remains delicious though I opted to freeze mine so the texture comes out firm like cheesecake. I came here yesterday on my birthday since the restaurant I was in didnt have decent dessert. Im definitely planning a return trip to get more tarts!

My favorite was definitely the original flavor but all of the flavors I got were really great! I got original, matcha, ube and black sesame.

We visited during the summer, they had six flavors when we visited. We decided to get them all…why not??? They were placed in a cute, bright yellow package with handles, making it easy to carry it around.The flavors were: Matcha, Black Sesame, Original, Original with Blueberry Filling, Chocolate, and Ube (Purple Yam). They looked like adorable, delicious, pretty little jewels.Their cheese mousse is made with three types of rich cheese and cream. Their crusts are double baked for the crispy texture. No soggy bottoms here!Each tart had distinctive flavor, without being too overpowering. The cheese was perfectly balanced with natural sweetness and saltiness. The Original Cheese Tart was, indeed, the best of the best. Even without the additional flavor like Matcha or Black Sesame, it was totally with the winner of them all.We enjoyed all the different cheese tarts from Pinklady. So fluffy and oozy… I would love to try them hot too. The next time I get some, I might put them in the toaster oven for few minutes to enjoy the lava action!

Comment: Light and not too much for a cheese tart. I was afraid it could get tiring, but it didn’t feel like too much and gave me room to try the different flavors. They have the original cheese flavored one, an original with a blueberry filling, chocolate, ube/purple yam, black sesame and matcha. Main thing to note about this is that it can get messy to share with friends if you’re trying to test out the flavors. Make sure to have a solid surface or table and some napkins on the side because the inner filling might catch you off guard.

Each cheese tart has a nice and crunchy(?) crust and the cheese part of the tart is nice and creamy... (hence how part of my sesame tart ended up on the side of the box 🙃). The texture of of crust is perfect with the smooth cheese blend on it. I would totally come back for the other flavored tarts they have like the matcha one, chocolate one and the original one. 👍

Its a pretty small shop and they have a table outside (during the pandemic), but I would say most people just buy to take away. The original was pretty clean tasting. Apparently you can eat it in a few different ways (cold, room temp, warmed up). I ate it at room temp and I would say the cream is a bit loose but was pretty good! Tasted like a cheesecake and an egg tart mixed together. The matcha and ube had subtle flavors of each. I had the matcha one chilled and it had the consistency of a cheesecake even more! Definitely a pretty good place to get a quick dessert.

Every time I am in the Chinatown area, I have introduced my friends to this spot (and of course see if they have any new flavors). My favorite flavors are the matcha, ube, regular cheese, and blueberry cheesecake. From my recent visit, I was surprised that the blueberry cheesecake was good because the blueberry did not overpower the creamy filling.They do not taste dense at all, nor extremely cheesy. Some people might find the crust a little too crunchy, but I actually like the extra crunchy texture because it doesn’t make the pastry tiring to eat. It kind of serves as a buffer from the overwhelming creaminess of the filling. Sometimes trying different flavors but still have the same texture, can ruin your food experience, because by the end of your meal the texture became so overwhelming, that it overshadows the flavors you just experienced. While eating these fresh, it can get a little messy as the filling is so gooey it does spill out, so always ask for napkins.Tip: I recommended getting these and refrigerating them overnight, eating them cold, as the creamy filling has slightly hardened (becomes soft like pudding) and set with the crust (also the bottom becomes slightly softer than the previous day). Perfect for a quick breakfast bite or a study snack.

Never really tasted anything like it before. The crust is so buttery and flaky and crisp. The filling is so unbelievable fluffy and velvety smooth. We tried all of the different flavors (original, matcha, purple yam, chocolate and chocolate/strawberry) there’s no way for me to pick a favorite they were all so good! Comment: Best cheese tarts ever. Theres also different ways to eat it. They recommend to toast in the oven for couple minutes and eat it hot. You can store in the fridge for couple hours eat it as in cheese cake. Or you can eat as in room temperature. Definitely come back for more👍👍👍
