Comment: Use to go here religiously. Alway ask for slice ginger wasabi (not horseradish mixed with wasabi). If you are a lite eater order spicy salmon/ eel sushi I promise you’ll love it. For my heavy eaters just order whatever you want. Just remember to tip them well. The next time go there to eat and they remember you face and order you will go there own like I have all these years.

Plus there staff was nice and respectful.And the establishment was very clean,and the atmosphere was cool.this restaurant is really the only Japanese restaurants on the jamaica queens side of town.That is a good thing because there arent to many Japanese food options on that side of Jamaica. So this is my go to Japanese restaurant in jamaica.

Comment: The sushi is a rare find on Jamaica Avenue but its very small and not worth the money.The teryaki combos are enough for 2 people and come with rice, salad, and/or chicken/beef/salmon/shrimp. The salmon and shrimp are less entree than beef and chicken.We order regularly from this business even though we know it is not authentic Japanese. The beef is sometimes not as good depending on which person is behind the grill.Theres only 1 dressing and its very sweet. My child is willing to eat lettuce because the dressing is so sweet. Theres also a spicy mayo that is a must have with any of the meals. Ill always pay $1 for a small additional container of spicy mayo. My husbands favorite is the beef fried rice for and additional $3 to any rice in a combo ordered. Its good affordable food.

Comment: I enjoyed my lunch here. This place reminds me of Sarku Japan over at Queens Center but more quiet and roomy without the crowding effect of the food court over at that mall. I never would have known about this place were it not for one of the employees there handing flyers. I never really wander outside of Jamaica Ave whenever Im in the area. The Chicken Teriyaki as well as the Sushi I had there was delicious. Im certainly making this one of my main spots for lunch to see what else is on the menu.

Comment: PP Boy is the only place in this area that serves sushi. Its not a large selection but the rolls they do have are delicious. I also love their shrimp fried rice. Every this is prepared as you order. I recommend PP boy if youre looking for some quick delicious hibachi dishes.

Comment: The chicken fried rice is my favorite. I also like the chicken teriyaki roll. The sizes are small but so are the prices. And its been pretty quiet most days I go. Its a nice place to sit and eat when its slow.

Comment: Finally a sushi spot in the area of Jamaica, where it is dominated by fast food chains and Chinese fast food.Located on a dead street, if it wasnt for the guy on Jamaica Ave wearing the sign to point you in the direction of PP Boy, you would not have know such a place exists.Although they are fairly new, the price and quality of their sushi and meals are very reasonable compared to everything else in the area.Had the endamame and a California roll. Rolls are normal sized and come in plain plastic resealable containers with a ball of wasabi and some ginger. None of that fancy Japanese containers you usually get in other Sushi spots with the orchids and flowers on the bottom. I could care less about the packaging though.. If you want brown rice in the rolls, that will cost you extra.Service was fast and quick. There is ample seating and free wifi!! I know everyone has Internet now and dont think too much about it, but in an area like Jamaica there is almost no wifi lounges or cafes anywhere! Yes Jamaica can be quite ghetto, but PP Boy is definitely a welcoming and a nice addition to the area.
