Comment: We highly recommend this place. Given its proximity to Times Square, it offers great value for money. We ordered the salmon poke bowl and it was delicious, all the ingredients felt very fresh! A miso soup was included as well. The service was extremely fast and the staff very friendly.

Comment: Wonderful atmosphere and yummy food. I loved the cocktails we tried. If you like sweet cocktails, ask your waiter to point out the sweetest cocktails! Thats what I did and unfortunately dont remember the name of the cocktail I ordered 😬 It was the first one in the menu though. The poke bowl I ordered was fantastic. The ingredients felt fresh and tasted great. It came with miso soup and house salad, both of which were also great. It was cold and rainy outside, so miso soup really hit the spot. I would definitely go there again. There are definitely a couple things on the menu I still need to try. They have a birthday special offer - ask for details. We went there at around 9pm on a Friday and thankfully there wasnt a crowd. Just a nice balance between too many people and too little people where you feel awkwardly alone with the staff.

Comment: Went there for pre-show lunch. Was not busy so got a great lunch with quick service. RA sushi is an upscale Japanese restaurant with really good food. Restaurant is clean, modern and spacious which is sometimes hard to find in Manhattan. Price is reasonable for Manhattan, especially since it’s right across from Harry Potter show. We had salmon poke bowl, chicken teriyaki and chicken katsu. The dishes were all fresh and tasty.

The crab was perfectly crispy. Overall, I could tell all of the fish was high quality and I definitely recommend RA sushi if you are around Times Square and in the mood for sushi!

The tacos were delicious and had good crunch, and the peppers were good, they serve the salt on the side so you can customize it to your liking. We made a reservation for that time, got there 15 minutes early just to find out the restaurant closes at 10 P.M. we were offered to dine if we made our choices quick (and eat quick) I dont blame them since I know theyd like to leave on time and go home. Just to make things easier we got California rolls and miso soup (I didnt take a pic but was soo good!) Though we were being rushed, it took about 10 minutes for someone to notice that we hadnt been served yet. They sat us right by the kitchen too lol definitely would go back but at an earlier time

The rack and roll really saved the sushi over all otherwise it was not that fresh . Beer was $6.50 for a 12 oz bottle, no draft (why no draft beer in a medium sized sushi restaurant? Weird). Had gyoza (tasty) and the chicken skewers (meh). We had the sumo sushi dinner, eel cucumber and eel avocado handroll, mackerel sashimi, and a salmon teriyaki dinner with taro chips. One thing we all agreed that we didnt like was the pork buns. The pork skin was crispy but the meat was overcooked. It was dry and it had too much hoisin sauce. Also, as a cook myself, I would recommend a difference in texture. I would prepare a slice of tender pork belly in order to pair it with the granny smith apple slice. If i were to keep the pork belly crispy, I would recommend some greens or cilantro and julienned cucumbers, perhaps a light flavor mayo. Anyhow, I would go back for the sushi. :)

Comment: This place had the freshest tasting fish that Ive ever had when I ordered the Sashimi platter it was excellent; I also had a soup called lemongrass hot and sour soup- it was amazing and very tasty!! I had the fried cheesecake for dessert it looked interesting I was like is this the cheesecake and then when I took one bite I was in another world because it was otherworldly with the excellent taste.All in all great experience!!

Comment: My partner and I ate at Haru Sushi on a visit to NYC from Australia. We love asian and expecially Japanese food. Haru didnt dissapoint. With a typical menu of a good Japanese restaurant with some unique dishes thrown in the food was both filling and well put together. Every dish we had was delicious and authentic. I especially loved the king crab dumplings and lobster tacos. The service was excellent. I wouldnt hesitate to go back or recommend this restaurant.
