Comment: The Ramen and the Takoyaki Octopus Ball were really tasty. The portion for Ramen was the right amount. They are also nice. We don’t eat pork so its hard to pick a ramen that will taste good but they took their time to suggest us what to take. It was a good experience in Ramen Jin. Definitely going back.

Comment: My husband and I stopped jn for ramen after our really bad massages a few doors down. The ramen was the life I needed after that ordeal.I had the spicy shoyu and my husband had the tonkatsu. We also had gyoza and chocken karaage. I recommend all of it! If I wasnt stuffed full I probably would have tried more. I wish I lived closer to go back today. Even my husband said he kept craving more after. 100% great local spot

Comment: Ordered the spicy tonkotsu and spicy miso ramen. Both ramens were exceptional for the price. Even tho iffy there were only 2 people working in the shop, everything was perfect. We went on Sunday and looked around the area after eating. Most places were either closed or shut down. It’s understandable that they may use plastic spoons or takeout bowls to serve indoor food due to our current economy. They even have a promotional student discount for ramen for 11$ during some weekdays. I’m sure if you show support to this small shop, they will show love in return.

Comment: Great little local spot. Great service and tasty ramen. Would definitely go back for the Ramen. Glad they had a pork-free broth option, the spicy miso veggie broth, which was actually really good. Apparently, the fermentation happens in-house for 4 days, pretty cool. The only negative is the inconsistency in the pricing. The ramen is decently priced at $15.50 but then $5 for a tablespoon worth of shredded beef topping seemed a bit excessive. Overall, a good experience.

Comment: This is my second visit to this place. I ordered a Spicy Tonkotsu Ramen for takeout. The noodles are decent, but nothing to rave about (dont expect fresh noodles or such if that is what youre expecting) though they still do have a bit of bite. The noodles are accompanied with 2 slices of Char-Siu (as apposed to the 3 paper thin slices when I first tried this location which amounts to about the same amount), crisp sweet corn, wood ear (grow up... look it up its edible fungus), a few slices of bamboo shoot (look it up), half a soft boiled egg and scallions. They great thing is the broth (soup)! Great full bodied and flavorful broth to sauna the noodles in. Great spot to have dinner after shopping or movie from the area.

Comment: I hadnt had ramen since the pandemic started. This place took interest in me since that was nearby Queens College, making it a good ramen joint to visit before classes.Anyways, the 15 minute wait was quite worth it. I ordered a spicy tonkotsu ramen and honestly, it was delicious. The broth was rich and creamy with the just right amount of spice, the egg and chashu were great with the sweet corn, onion and ginger maling it a satisfying dish.All and all, this is one of my favorite ramen places I have gone to so far and I hope to drop by again once the pandemic ends!

Comment: Three days into their official opening, I was excited to finally try out this local ramen joint. This restaurants opening was hampered by the coronavirus earlier this year. I ordered a pork gyoza, chicken karaage, and tonkotsu ramen for take out. The restaurants owner was friendly and greeted us at the door, all in all the order took approximately 10-15 minutes to be prepared. The pork gyoza was decent but not out of the ordinary from your other gyozas you can find at a Japanese restaurant. The chicken karaage was fantastic however more so resembles the Taiwanese salt and pepper chicken nuggets you can find in a night market, no complaints there though. Now onto the tonkotsu ramen, the soup base was nice and flavorful and definitely salty enough...the restaurant markets that they do not use msg and so far I am inclined to believe so. The noodles were a bit on the soft side rather than being al dente, sides that come with the noodles are bamboo shoots, wood ear mushrooms, half a soft boiled egg, and corn. One thing you notice immediately is that the tonkotsu is not served in your traditional round slices but they are more so tonkotsu strips, the flavor was neither too strong nor too bland, consistency of the meat was tender and nice and fatty where it is appropriate. Given that I did take out the food, I shall return when the Phase 3 of re-opening NYC returns on July 6 for in door dining. I give this place a solid 3.5 stars.
