Comment: Ordered on Uber eats. I tonkotsu ramen with 2 extra portions of pork, and I ended an egg. It was on the salty side (it’s supposed to be salty, I know. It didn’t bother me personally, but if you are sensitive to salt, beware.) I also added an egg. The broth was very rich, especially with the egg. The pork was tender and had that perfect grilled/charred flavor.

Comment: The food was really good for the price! I had the beef curry and it was some of the best Japanese style curry in the area! Beef was tender and the roux was sweet but savory. Portions are Generous! Dining in is tiny but if theres space, a small group of friends is perfect to bring!

Comment: I have been going here for sweets and chi teas for a few months now but only just had the pleasure of trying the hot food. I got the beef curry over rice and OHMYGOODNESS yall, it was so good. I ate the whole thing and took a fantastic nap after. I cant wait to try the chicken curry next! Highly recommend the food, the treats, the drinks, and the conversation with the owner. Everyone is so nice. Its my favorite stop every Friday as a treat to myself.

Comment: I tried the tonkotsu ramen here the other week with my boyfriend and it was delicious! The owner was so kind and appreciative of our service. It made for a very nice experience.I will say though, the portion size was a little small for the cost. There was slightly less broth than Im used to, with only a few pieces of corn instead of the expected amount. Also, the egg costs extra (I really feel like the egg should be included). My boyfriend had to eat another meal when we got home, and I ended up doing so as well. The taste was great, and the service was wonderful, so the serving size was a little disappointing.We had such a positive experience otherwise.

Comment: This is how you should always leave Roc City Ramen. I had the spicy miso and beef dumplings. The soup was perfectly spiced with just the right amount of heat. The dumplings were equally great. I left feeling so satisfied because I just felt so good after such a wonderful meal. I had to stop myself from ordering seconds. So needless to say, I highly recommend Roc City Ramen.

Comment: Visited here Tuesday Mar 17th for takeout lunch! They are still open for takeout and you can call, place the order, and pay over the phone. There is a parking lot so no worries about parking. I believe out of all the locations this is the only one open but double check on their instagram to confirm this!On to the food! I Ordered the spicy miso ramen with an egg and the pork gyzo. Spicy Miso was delicious and creamy, warning it is fairly spicy for me but not an unbearably spicy like a comfortable spicy. The addition of the egg was def worth it and i’m happy with the pork belly. The pork gyzo was fantastic, the crispy dumpling skin was great and definitely satisfied my cravings. I am definitely coming back for the poke bowl since poke is top 5 fav foods for me! The have many offerings than just ramen which is fantastic :)Also the people working here are all extremely nice and personable. While I was waiting for my food to be prepped I had a great conversation with one of the employees, possibly owner ( I really didn’t ask because it was such a natural conversation)! Can’t wait for dine in options to come back to NYS 💗

Comment: This is one of their newest locations of Roc City Ramen, which is nestled in the Corn Hill area and located directly across from Corn Hill Landing. This location is slightly larger than their Alexander St. restaurant, and they also serve Sushi at this new location, which they have one of my favorites - Escolar. Its such a buttery delicacy from the waters. And as for their Ramen Bowls, weve had ramen bowls from many restaurants in Rochester NY - Hands down, Roc City Ramen is the best !

Comment: I went here with my family. It was fantastic. I really appreciated that their menu had only seven dishes total to choose from. It was clear from the flavors of our ajitsuke, beef curry, and gyoza that a lot of time is spent perfecting each dish. No MSG, all natural ingredients, fantastic. The gyoza was particularly nice for me because I never order dumplings, but these were delicate and delicious.We went around 5pm and had a really pleasant meal together.

Comment: Heard many good things from others and decided to check out this place myself. Parking is available in the back, so it was nice to not have to stress out about that. The owner and staff were very friendly and knowledgeable - always a plus for me, especially when I have questions or need suggestions. Plus, they are Deaf friendly (at least one of their employees is Deaf and uses ASL)! You could tell many costumers were regulars, but there were others like ourselves who were trying this out for the first time. We got our food fairly quickly and were quite pleased. Their Shoyu Ramen (pictured) was extremely flavorful and a delight to look at. The egg is definitely worth the extra $1! My friend ordered the Vegan option and was also happy with their selection. We will definitely be sure to visit again.

Comment: The owner is super friendly and fun, the atmosphere is very relaxed and nice. This is probably the cleanest place Ive been in all of New York. The food is really tasty, really quick, and affordable. This is not traditional Japanese style ramen, and doesnt taste like what I remember from Japan, so it misses checking one of my boxes, but it is still wonderful and a really great experience! Also, a little girl just asked the owner if he would teach her to make ramen, and he told her in all seriousness that when shes a little bit older, he would love to. This is such a friendly place!

Comment: First time visit, but it didn’t disappoint! Due to an allergy I am only able to try the #1. The broth in this was so flavorful. The pork was tender and flavorful. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and over all this was very satisfying. The owner was friendly and very helpful as well as considerate of my allergy. He checked in to make sure I was alright. Comment: Respectable ramen, not best, willing to try again. Just moved to Rochester from LA. Psyched to find a new ramen place. LA has some of the best outside Japan. How does Brooklyn ramen Rochester compare? Got many of the basics right. Noodles were proper consistency. Pork was different from what Ive head before, but very good, so no complaints. Egg just a little too runny, needed another minute in the heat. Got the spicy miso tonkatsu. Broth didnt quite work. First, not spicy enough. Second, flavors not quite balanced. Still, I love ramen. Happy to come back and try another flavor. Came at noon on a Saturday. Not busy at all.

Comment: I’ve spent a considerable amount of time in both Japan and Okinawa. I went with a classic Shoyu today. The noodles were perfect, the broth was awesomely authentic, the aroma was legit. I haven’t found many places that have held onto authenticity instead of being innovative which often translates to the need to be expedient. Roc City Ramen pays tribute to its culture and connection.
