I prefer to dine in but when we dont have time we grab a take out order because I cant pass by without getting the vinegretta cups tostones cups with onion, tomato, avocado, vinegar, seasonings, and shrimp stuffed inside. The Carne Frita, Mofongo with shrimp and bento box are a few of my go-to choices, but there are so many yummy dishes on the menu. Love it there.

My go to dish in a restaurant that serves Chinese/Hispanic dishes is Bistec (steak) Palomilla and pork fried rice. I also like to have Chicharron de Pollo sin jueso with pork fried rice but this time my boyfriend decided to get frenchfries. Always so good and never salty. Can’t go wrong eating here!

Comment: Okay so this is gonna be the only review youll need for this place, so I was looking on Uber and found this place and I will be talking about the food delivery service so I ordered the ribs with rice and man it was the best food I’ve ever had delivered to me in my life such tasty ribs and rice the portion was absolutely generous (that’s coming from a 280 pd power lifter) do not ever change this!!!! my girl ordered the steak and onions n Rice she also loved her food, the kids weren’t even forced to eat ( as we usually have to ) they destroyed the chicken and broccoli and wanted more!! Thank you easy 5 star rating, my fav restaurant and definitely recommend for you all to try this place, I will be ordering again do not change anything please!!!!!

They serve Chinese, Dominican, and Seafood. Weird to be asked if I want tostones with my General Tsos but it was definitely not boring. Their iced tea was delicious; we got a pitcher. I had roasted chicken with rice and beans and a side of maduros. It was delicious and the potion size is big enough for 2 meals. I saved half for dinner and it reheated well. You could go there everyday for a year and never eat the same thing twice.

Its not a big place so the tables are very close together n if u have to get up you will literally rub up on shoulders walking in or out. No Bueno right now with the Corona spreading. My brother n I ordered out n went our moms to eat. I LOVE their food (Cuban/Chinese) however I was very disappointed when I opened my BIG container of Friedrice w/Shrimps, it had about 7 little shrimps in it n a bunch of rice! So we had 2 shrimps each 🥴. Obviously its a place to eat if all those people were willing to chance getting sick over a meal.. With that said I def. Recommend bc their food is finger licking good🤤

There broiled shrimp are well prepared and with a nice blend of seasonings. The tostones are crispy and bite sized and the mojo is full of flavor. Service is good as well. This place has been bereft for years.

Everything is amazing besides the churrasco, which it couldve had more flavor/seasoning. Not saying that it tasted bad, just that it was decent and it couldve tasted better. Comment: We always enjoy the food here depends on what you like. The portions are great for the price. I am picky when it comes to fried green plantains and garlic sauce and Chicharrones de Pollo. They were battered and thats not how I am used to eating that and I like my tostones on the crunchier side that day they were kind of soft. Lets just say I made that again the next day at home . The steak with Chinese fried rice and salad was great as always. The churrasco is great too and that bourbon pork is tasty. Overall, you will be pleasantly full. Service was okay but they are usually packed. Again,I have high expectations it seems that every where I go great service is a challenge to find nowadays.. everywhere including retail.

Comment: My family and I just ate here (on a Sunday) and it was delicious. Both my mum and I got the rice dishes, one with seafood and the other with meat, and the portion was ginormous and definitely worth the price. My lil bro had the steak with the mofongo on the side, he devoured it. We had mai Thais to drink and tres leches for dessert. Overall great experience, good staff, our waiter was great, and the place was poppin; super busy and we didnt have to wait - and that was unbelievable. Definitely will be coming back to this spot in the boogie down.

Comment: This place has a lot of history. I gave it 4 stars because, as good as it is, it used to be much better back when Nelson was around. If you recall Nelson, he was the Asian guy with gray hair and glasses that always smiled and came by to ask you how the meal was. The place has evolved both good and bad but overall has remained great. The menu has had some additions, making it an ever bigger menu. A lot of variety between seafood, Spanish food, and Chinese specialities. The taste is not bad but it used to be better. The restaurant is very busy, the seating arrangements work and can accommodate a large group. Its not as spacious as other restaurants but its definitely not cramped. Very difficult finding parking, but has nothing to do with the restaurant. I overall come here once in a while, but when I do, I often remember what it used to be, and I miss it. If youve been here prior to 2006, you know what I mean. Otherwise, youre not missing out. I recommend it.

Comment: The restaurant is a combination of Chinese and Dominican food, most of the menu is Chinese plates but they put the little flavor of Chinese restaurant in Dominican Republic. My favor dish is the special fried rice which brings shrimps, chicken, beef, chicharon ( crispy pork belly) and some slice avocado. I also order the bourbon boneless ribs. From the appetizer I always order the tostones rellenos ( fried plantains cup style), filled with guacamole or a la vinagreta. They also have crabs and cassava (same style) with flank steak, a combination chicharon and roast pork. They have a variety of seafood fried or broiled. The Dominican plates are also spectaculars.

Comment: Classic Chinese-Cuban (Spanish)restaurant. One of the last of its kind in NYC. There were quite a number of authentic Chinese-Cuban restaurants when I grew up in NYC in the 70s and 80s. I have always loved their unique take on friend rice specialties. I ordered the beef fried rice and it didnt disappoint. Tasted, looked and smelled like I always remember it to be. The shrimp gumbo soup was okay. It could have been a bit thicker and some more traditional gumbo ingredients added to it.

Comment: My family eat here often, there are cons to this place, the wait for service can take a bit at times. My wife loves the garlic bread here more than their other locations. When they run out of it, they dont tell you until you ask. Deal breaker for us. They bill may take longer to come, also no follow up to check if you want dessert, Great to have them run back to adjust the bill after ordering a round of Tres Leche. The food is delicious and your not expected to Tip. Owners rules and Promise of Good food, Fair price and supposedly employees are paid well. We have gone back many more times and also have ordered take out. The food is good. Leo is one of the Main Guys in Castle Hill and does well for his guest. The other members do ok, not bad.

I literally overheard teachers and I was saddened by the language that was being spoken by them too. N word... just ghetto. Weve been there before and well continue to go, but not as often. Comment: Ive been a customer of this restaurant for over 20 years. Watched it grow, but one thing remained consistent - good food at a reasonable price. Has both Hispanic and Chinese cuisine. Service is great but not your traditional style. You may have 3 or 4 different waiters serving you. No one is assigned a particular table and therefore theres no tipping allowed. Of course, you can give whoever you want but because it is a constant flow of different waiters, thats difficult to decide. Food is always excellent. Theyve recently expanded, so there shouldnt be a problem getting a table.

Staff was attentive and helpful, we were seated immediately as a group of 5 but there could be a little bit of a wait if youre 4 or more depending on the time you arrive. Food was very reasonably priced and was worth it. Only complaint would be that the restaurant itself can be a bit crowded and cramped if youre seated near one of the employee lanes. Would recommend.

Comment: Sabrosura is definitely a decent place within the Bronx. It doesnt try to do too much, and thats not a bad thing in this case. You have a choice of Spanish dishes or dishes you may find in a Chinese fast food restaurant. (And you can mix the orders as well.)You can order to go, or you can sit down and eat. The seats are decent, but the decor is what you would expect for a place in the Bronx that is out the way. The waiters are also fairly quick and friendly. On the bright side, many of the menu items are affordable, and are prepared well.Drivers, be warned; there is no parking for the restaurant. It is three blocks away from the 6 train on Castle Hill Avenue. Even for some people in the Bronx, that can be a long ride. However, if you are in the neighborhood, give Sabrosura a try. You wont be disappointed.
