Comment: Just wow! This place didnt disappoint at all! Wasnt sure what I wanted as I stopped from a bike ride from NJ and I ordered the skewers. Lots of variety to choose from but I wish I had room some ramen. Very nice choice of drinks as well! Will definitely be back for more!

Comment: If you want to have lunch or dinner at a great place on Staten Island, this is the place to go. We’ve been to this restaurant on numerous occasions since it opened, and no matter what dish we try, we are always impressed by the taste and the quality of the food. The service is impeccable and the servers are wonderful. They have a full bar that serves all types of drinks in a real cozy atmosphere. They also have a takeout service, which is a terrific advantage if you don’t have time to actually go to the restaurant. We’ve been to many ramen restaurants, and by far, this is the best on the island. Don’t take my word for it, give it a try and go yourself 👍

Comment: Just discovered this place about a few months ago and have been ordering down the list from their menu, they have fantastic ramen soup and super tasty appetizers. friendly staff and fast delivery. picked up from them and place is very clean. Highly recommend this place. Dont say that about many places at all. i have my go to spots and this made the list for sure. Thank you sakai Ramen and keep up the nice job.

Comment: This place is cute and the service was wonderful. The chicken broth was delicious and in addition to kikurage mushrooms, they even had enoki! The taro bubble tea was unfortunately all powder and a bit watery, but overall I would definitely return.

That Broth is heaven.I kind of like the smaller menu. They have their heads wrapped around the specifics and do it well. Every item on the appetizer list is great! Believe me, we had them all! My daughter and I have gone 2x just this last week.The Service is great! Theyre So polite and so willing to make a recommendation when a nudge is needed.He recommended the bacon wrapped cherry tomatoes and NOW I RECOMMEND them to YOU!!!As far as price, um its Staten island! $13.50 for the biggest bowl of heaven should hardly raise a concern. If you think thats much, take a flavor trip with their beef bowl for $8.95. Comment: Sakai Ramen, Staten Island, NYThese folks have a giant E Honda on the wall overlooking the dining area so you know they mean business. This spicy Sakai Ramen bowl was really, really, enjoyable. The broth was thin and delicious, not overly salty as some places tend to be. I could drink a whole bowl by itself, freal. I asked for extra spice and it wasnt really very spicy by my standards. It was tolerable by a lot of people who probably dont do spicy. I will say though, that during my bowl about halfway through, I ended up having some go into my airway and I had to chew super fast, put my utensils down, and swallow before I coughed my mouthful out all over the table. It caught me off guard. For the next 3 minutes I was fighting back more coughs, sniffles, and watery eyes. So embarrassing. But man, this is what it feels like to be alive. The bowl came with chicken chashu and pork chashu standard but I asked for more pork chashu and Im very, very glad I did. The meat in this bowl was very soft and delicious and had its own unique flavor. Like the broth, it wasnt too overpowering or salty so I could really get into it and eat a lot without feeling like a dirtbag. Im usually not a fan of thin noodles, but in this bowl with everything else meeting my expectations and tasting delicious I didnt even care. The noodles soaked up the broth just fine and complemented the bowl nicely. Everything else there; bamboo, seaweed, and corn, was a nice touch. Overall, Id say this is probably my favorite Ramen Shop on Staten Island now. I dont think theres a whole lot of them out here but I bet it would be hard to find one much better. A+ Sakai Ramen!

Comment: A great place to cure your ramen cravings here in Staten Island.The Deluxe Combo for two is a steal! Definitely worth its price! The combo for two comes with two Sakai Ramen ($13.50) plus 5pcs of gyoza plus two drinks if your choice (soda or milk tea).The Chicken gizzard skewers ($2) were the first to come followed by our drinks. The gizzard skewers are best meant to eat right away. The gizzards are fresh and chewy. It is well seasoned and grilled. The gizzards are in bite pieces so definitely one of the smaller skewers I had.Sakai Chicken wings are their fried wings with their house mild sauce. Their house mild sauce has a nice kick but not too spicy. The wings are were meant to eat right away. Once it gets cold, the sauce causes the skin to be soggy.The Sakai Ramen includes two types of chashu; pork & chicken. This is my first time having chicken chashu. Using dark meat of a chicken allowed the chashu to be soft and tender.Tables are 6 feet apart. Restaurant staff all wore mask.

Comment: When i say this place is GOOD my goodness. Their popcorn chicken is so good and savory. The ramen.. In love. Classic tonkotsu broth. Very savory. Their spicy sauce completes the whole ramen. It adds to the smokey flavor of the chashu and the broth. They have delicious bubble teas. The pomegranate green tea is on the spot good. Their skewers are pretty good too. They have a grand opening promotion that with every ramen order gets a free chicken skewer so go enjoy that. Service was good and attentive. 9/10 only because to my liking i wish their ramen had more broth! But thats always the case with awesome ramen.EDIT : got some pics. Second time here. Give it a try!

Comment: Went this new ramen place with friends at weekend. It was very nice experience. The food was fresh and delicious, and the price is much lower than Manhattan and NJ. I had the House ramen as Sakai ramen, it had almost everything there. The pork and Chicken was so tender and juicy. The popcorn Chicken was crispy outside and juicy in side. The yakitori was so tasty. This would be my favorite ramen spot from now. :-)
