Comment: As soon as I walked it I was greeted by a cat waving at me. I love that thing. I was seated quickly and ordered sushi and rice. Shannon was absolutely fantastic. The tables had plenty of room for my mobility scooter, I am 550 pounds and it’s hard to be comfortable. I ate my meal which was very good then of course I had to use the restroom. I rode over there and of course my mobility scooter died as I was turning and I dumped the scooter and had to yell for help.

Comment: So fun and lots of delicious options! Have come here for sushi and hibachi on different occasions. The sushi is always fresh and well prepared. Some of the best I have had in the area. My favorite destination for hibachi too, cheaper and less greasy than some other locations I have visited. Plus they live up to their name and do NOT hold back when it comes to the sake!

The night ended up crazy but all of us had fun even when their power went out soon as our chef finished cleaning his station. The manager was great. Each birthday person got deep-fried oreos and music. Will always be a remarkable night one to remember with fond memories

Comment: I’ve been coming here since they first opened some years ago. While the atmosphere has changed (all Asian servers to all white servers), the top notch quality of food has not changed. I’ve eaten here at all times of day, all days of the week. It is always consistently good. In fact it is the only sushi place I trust and will eat in Syracuse. I recommend it to everybody. The tuna tar tar is my favorite. Spectacular Philly roll. Their pad Thai is great. Hibachi is good. This place has never let me down. Give it a try, with an open mind, and remember you are in upstate New York, not very close to a coast. They do a GREAT job.

Comment: Second visit, first time I did takeout but this time I sat at the sushi bar for lunch. They had a lunch special, any 3 rolls for $14.50 including soup or salad.I opted for the miso soup. Very good with bits of tofu and seaweed. Very warming and tasty.My sushi arrived very nicely presented.Two spicy crab tolls and a shrimp california roll.Both were nice and tightly rolled and freshly made to order.I loved both of them and when dipped in shoyu mixed with wasabi, very spicy!Waitress was perfunctory, but very little interaction and did not really check on me. The Sushi chefs were both very nice and one gave me a complimentary tasting of a deep fried roll.Very nice.I talked briefly with one of the owners(Lini?) on my way out. She was very nice as well.Overall, really enjoyed my visit.I will be back.

It turned out to be a disappointment so we got back on the road and saw a billboard for Sake Bomb, typed it into our navigation and were so glad that we did. The food was great. The service friendly and a very nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back.We had honey wasabi tuna tataki, the passion roll, avocado salad and salmon teriyaki. Everything was delicious!!

Comment: I eat at a lot of sushi joints and this one was top 5 for sure. They definitely have the best appetizers Ive ever had at a sushi restaurant. The lava app is to die for. Service was great and the place itself was OK. Didnt sit at the hibachi but did watch a little bit. Often you see the cooks on autopilot, just going through the motions, but the one I saw did a good job acting like he was having a good time. If I lived in the area Id be a regular customer!

Comment: This was my first time eating here. It was phenomenal!! They accommodated me as I have a seafood and onion allergy. They made my chicken fried rice without onions and eggs....and I had the chicken wings and it was all amazing!! A HUGE serving as well. My daughter in law had the steak special with veggies and rice and it looked just as amazing!! I was quite impressed by everything...including the price!! Will definitely go back!!

However the sauce served with the egg noodles or lo mein like noodles was a little too sweet. Comment: I stopped in for lunch between appointments on my day off. I was going to go to the mall for a quick bite to eat. Im so glad I came here instead! Sushi, soup and a cocktail- soooo much better food than the other place! The price was great AND my waitress Sam was the ONLY waitress!!! I counted 10 parties when I came in and it stayed busy while I was there! Sam was awesome! She was sooo busy but so pleasant! Happy and personable! They do a fun little birthday jingle (if you ask, not mandatory like some other places) and you get a free treat! We have always had the super outgoing and hilarious waiter who’s name I believe was Ramon. But the service is just so good! One of the main reasons we came back was because he was so nice and good at his job. The wait times for sushi are very low. You can order one thing then order another and it will come out as you finish the first. I cannot say enough how good the sushi is. We tried a bunch and they are all incredible. I’d say this is the best sushi place in Syracuse.

Comment: Sushi dinner and salad were delicious. My boyfriend had tempura and it came with plenty of fried rice. Hibachi soup was also yummy and served hot! We’ve been here twice now and both times service was excellent and speedy.

Comment: Been here many times throughout my life and it has never disappointed. The hibachi is always a fun time and great for birthdays, date night or really any occasion as the chefs put on a fun and interactive show. The dining area also has a large menu too choose from and alot of fun and tasty mix drinks however they can be quite expensive. The service is mostly good Ive had a few poor service nights but never enough too sour my taste of the place.

The wait for hibachi grill table was abt 30mins. Not too bad. It was a great date night with my love. I would definitely recommend and return again. Must try it out if u havent. Comment: Holy hot potato. This place was amazing. The waitress Gabby(im hoping thats how you spell it) was so sweet and funny and just had an amazing personality. The chef was actually entertaining too he didnt just go through the motions he put effort into it and make it fun. As for the food it was beyond amazing I am so happy and it was such a good price for a Hibachi place. I will definitely be returning soon. Amazing 🥰

Comment: The food has always been great, but especially during the pandemic they go above and beyond to make the experience as pleasant/safe as possible! They went out of their way to set up a station where you can pick up your order and pay for your food in a very low contact way. They even call you when your order is ready! We got a few sushi rolls and a couple appetizers and they held up great in transport, so if youre worried takeout might just not be as good there is no reason to worry.

Comment: Weve been ordering sushi to-go for a couple months now and its always perfectly prepared. The speciality rolls are great (especially Crazy Salmon) - before Covid we did hibachi there a number of times and the chefs were always great with our boys. Lots of fun, great food (if only takeout for now) - highly recommended.

Comment: Came here on Wednesday for half priced sushi. Everything was amazing! Im not much of a raw fish person, but they have plenty of vegetable rolls to choose from! The sweet potato roll is my favorite! The sushi was actually done very quickly which was surprising for how busy it was! Also, their crab ragoons are AMAZING! I cannot get enough of those.

Comment: Very good service, standard hibachi food. What gave them the 5* rating for me was their consciousness of what I could and could not eat as a vegetarian. They were fast to suggest substitutions for things like their soup that was meat broth based. The food was good, the tofu was not as firm as I like it but the service is what really set them apart in my opinion.

Comment: First off, Ive only every eaten at the bar, during lunch about 3 or 4 times so far. That being said my experience has been the lunch specials have been excellently priced and have been of very good quality. The service is good, since I was sitting at the bar so the chefs just hand you the food when they are done and its not very busy at lunch so everything is pretty darn quick. When Im in the area its definitely on the list of places I like to eat at.

Comment: Wonderful food/wonderful staff —- There were five of us meeting here for dinner and three of the five had not been at Sake Bomb before. We enjoyed Hibachi meals that were prepared perfectly by our chef. He did a great job of entertaining us throughout his presentation. I’m sorry that I did not get his name. Meals are priced reasonably and are generous! I enjoyed the filet/scallop Hibachi combo and others enjoyed combos as well. We will definitely return. Our waiter Tad was excellent. He was pleasant, attentive and an ideal host to the five of us women. Thank you Tad for helping to make this evening memorable by accommodating us with taking some pictures.

Comment: Every time we go to Sake Bomb, I have a fantastic experience. Both their regular dining and hibatchi offer some of the best Japanese cuisine in the area.I had a sit down dinner experience this time- service was prompt and the food was delicious. I especially love the shumai (steamed shrimp dumplings). This time I tried the pineapple friend rice with chicken. Super yummy and far too much food to finish!

Comment: It was disappointing that they refused to take a Groupon because it was a holiday... One would not expect that Martin Luther King Day was an included as that type of holiday, the fine print referenced Valentines day... New years...etc.They also seemed very understaffed for the night, there was a long wait for food and service, our waiter was literally running back and forth to keep up with tables, drinks..etc.However the sushi we ordered was wonderful, prices were reasonable.

The show they put on while making the food (right in front of you) is not only entertaining but they also interact with each member of the table so every person becomes part of the entertainment! Comment: We went for happy hour at the sushi bar. They offer 2-3-4 dollar rolls, apps, house wine, and beer. We tried an assortment of rolls, which were all great and made fresh. The 007 roll from the regular menu which was so good. Definitely worth it to stop in for the happy hour deals.

Comment: So far Ive only come here for sushi, and its definitely worth it. If you come for happy hour, you can easily fill up on sushi for ~$10 - basic rolls are $2 or $3, and appetizers are discounted as well. Service is pretty good, and the atmosphere is okay. The cheap, delicious sushi makes it definitely worth a try though.
