Comment: Great experience! The staff is very friendly, the quality of the food is great, one of the things that is noticeable about this place is the cleanliness. Please try the hibachi table, you will have fun. There is no much happening in Clifton Park food wise but this place is a must if you are in the area.

Comment: Food was absolutely amazing. The best crab Rangoons I have ever had. The side of hibachi steak was cooked to perfection. The rolls were absolutely amazing (wagyu roll, minus the asparagus and jalapeño + sakebon roll, minus the mango and avocado). If you’re a texture person, I don’t suggest the wagyu roll. The Beef Negimaki was phenomenal, too many scallions for me personally in the middle but my boyfriend thought it was perfect the way it was.

Comment: Had an excellent meal here tonight. The Spicy Thai chicken soup was awesome! One of the best soups I have ever had. Nice spice and loaded with chicken and veggies. The Naruto roll was very fresh and tasty as well. I will be back when Im in the area and try other dishes. Thanks for a great meal! Came back a 2nd time and same experience!

Comment: Seamless transaction for lunch pick up ordered online. Emailed receipt said ready in 30minutes. I sent a message along with the order stating I wouldn’t arrive for approx 1.5hrs (lol traveling nurse) . Food was ready upon arrival, hot & packaged appropriately . Utensils/napkins provided. Excellent costumer service & great value for lunch . Hibachi combo (steak / chicken) along with provided fried rice, veggies & noodles were great 👌🏼Avocado & sweet potato spring roll was excellent . Clear soup was as expected . I wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Comment: Went here for lunch with 4 coworkers (this was my first time). Awesome spot. Pretty upscale and sleek for a local strip mall. Food was great with no disappointments. I ordered the chicken Teriyaki lunch special with soup and salad. The salad was not all that, contained one piece of tomato, cucumber, and the rest was lettuce with house dressing. The chicken Teryiyaki was great, full of flavor, rice bowl was kind of small though. I would definitely recommend and revisit again.

Comment: Ok, you all (Facebook group 518 Foodies) talked us into going to Sake Bon Japanese Steakhouse Clifton Park . I had a lot of disdain for the former Chinese buffet in that spot, so I had zero interest of ever trying Sake Bon. My better half had me thinking we were going to pick out fish at Market 32, then turned us around and went to the corner of the plaza. The exterior is the same, unassuming storefront it has been. Walking inside, I was pleasantly surprised by the remodel! The service was very brisk - we barely had time to finish one thing, and we were off to the next. We had hot sake (soothing) and a lycheetini (a bit underwhelming and sweet, for my taste). For an appetizer, we has the Sunburst Appetizer (Lobster salad and mango wrapped in seared salmon with mango chili and eel sauce, black caviar), which didnt taste as I imagined it would, but was still a refreshing starter. Bear had the shrimp and salmon habachi dinner, and I had the swordfish. There was enough food for me to make 3 meals out of, and Bear brought home a few bites haha. Other than the salad (not impressive, with red tinged bagged salad mix), the food was extremely flavorful, well cooked and plentiful. I particularly liked the fried rice. Hibachi meals come with salad, soup, shrimp, veggies, fried rice and noodles. 3 adult beverages, 2 hibachi meals (with lots of leftovers!) and one sushi appetizer came to $87 before tip. Tail between my legs, Id definitely go back. Its not a fancy night out, or even the best sushi around, but the overall experience was very positive! I recommend for all Japanese and Thai foodies!

Comment: First first was a birthday party with about 20 guests. The staff was all very friendly and kept the party atmosphere alive. They were very prompt with their service! Hibachi was a lot of fun and the food was delicious. I went back a few weeks later and ordered sushi, which was just as good as I remembered. Definitely recommend this place.

Comment: Went for dinner with my family. My daughter doesnt really like sushi or rolls so she opted for the fried rice instead and loved it. My wife and I ordered some apps and rolls everything was delicious and fresh. Presentation was amazing. I ordered a bottle of hot saki which it seems comes buy one get one, but only wanted one so our waiter gave us dessert on the house, the fried green tea ice cream was so good. Everything was amazing we will be going back soon.

Comment: Great place if you like Teppanyaki (Hibachi) style and or sushi restaurants. They have seating of your choice like normal tables (casual dining), a few booths in the bar area, several places at the sushi bar and the Hibachi grill area. Weve only experienced the Hibachi area and the service has always been good. The servers are very attentive and the food is great. Its a bit pricey but I always have enough to take home for later. Well worth it in our opinion.

Comment: Although some of us had to wait a long time for food we ordered from the kitchen, and we were told we would get free ice cream for the long wait, that we NEVER got... and Our Daughter was a bit sad that they didnt do the Happy Birthday thing for her... and our 5 yr old granddaughter was afraid of the fire, so I went in the other eating area with her for a bit... Everything was still GREAT... Cannot wait to go there again... and Thank you to our Chef for taking pictures with us... Such a nice experience...

If you knew this place as the Chinese Buffet....What a FACE LIFT! The food is fantastic. Ken (mgr) and his staff took very good care of us through out the whole evening. If you want Hibachi, they have them 4 or 5 tables (if not more). You will not be disappointed!!!
