Comment: I’ve eaten in once and had a good experience. order take out from here regularly. the lunch 3 rolls for $14 is my go to. they have the freshest ingredients and the food is always prepared as requested. was with someone that didn’t want vegetables with their hibachi and the person that took the order on the phone offered extra rice instead which i thought was really good customer service because a lot of places don’t sub anything when we make that request. highly recommend.

Comment: Sashimi is fresh. Spicy tuna roll is great. Lunch specials all have price lower than competing restaurants, reasonable portion, good quality. Meal preparation is super fast. We dont like beef scallion roll appetizer. Will come back and try other entrees next time.Update 7-22-2023: 2nd lunch visit. Ordered Thai crab cake, sushi sashimi lunch, lunch rolls with 3 choices, American dream roll. Happy with the taste, service, vibe, price.

Comment: I like sushi a lot and I like trying new sushi restaurants.. I ordered the dancing eel roll, 1 order of tuna sushi, and 1 order of eel sushi. For me, the eel was a bit off, with a slimey texture. I have come across the eel issue at some restaurants before. Its a textural issue, not that the sushi is spoiled at all. Cute restaurant with Habachi grills.

Comment: This was my first time being here. A couple friends brought me and it was a really cool experience. I got the chicken dinner which came with soup and a salad. It all tasted fantastic. Our cook was cool, friendly and fun and was able to entertain all the guests he was assigned too. Next time might just order two of those. Habachi steak for me, filet and shrimp for the Mrs., very generous portion and great flavor. Our server was attentive and friendly. Will go back soon.

Comment: One of if not the best hibachi in upstate New York. On top of that the service is amazing. Our chef was absolute amazing and funny. Kept us entertained the entire time. On top of that he made sure to let someone know that we had someone with a birthday in our party. I have never been to a restaurant that has had our waiter do that for us. I would strongly recommend Sake Bon to anyone looking for quality food and good entertainment. Absolutely wonderful restaurant! Also ask for Leo, he is such a great chef!

Starting with a warm friendly greeting from the owner, followed by spectacular service, amazing food, and great ambience. We had the Tuna Pizza, the BEST weve ever had, Shrimp and Veggie Tempura, Tiger Roll (I now have a new favorite Roll), Avocado Salad, and followed by the Tuna Salmon Naruto. Comment: We had a planned birthday dinner here, and the food was delicious. The wait staff seemed very hit or miss; some were well trained and enthusiastic, others enthusiastic without thought, and a select few seemed like they were having the worst night if their lives. It didnt help that we specifically asked not to have birthday songs and they did it anyway. Portions are very large, even if the picture I upload doesnt show this, so expect to be stuffed by the time you leave. I would come back to give it one more try if I was in the mood, but wouldnt go out of my way.

At the end of dinner I was served a dessert of fried ice cream with a candle.....it was delicious and a very nice surprise.....i recommend going and experiencing this restaurant at least once....cant wait to go back......

Comment: This is the local go-to for hibachi. Nestled in a run-of-the-mill shopping center, this place has quality and a certain amount of class that is very attractive. Love the modern atmosphere and the way they have organized the space. There are three main sections - the bar that also hosts the maitre-d area, the hibachi seating, and regular seating. The entire restaurant has lovely decor and an attractive modern vibe. The hibachi area can host four hibachi chefs at once and its where the restrooms are also located. The first time we went it was relatively busy but we were able to be seated; however, our second time was a Monday night and it was pretty quiet.Ive had hibachi in the past and it was always consistently phenomenal, and this place is no different. If you dont know what hibachi is its pretty much a style of dining where the chef comes out and cooks the food right in front of you on a hot, open flat-top while simultaneously entertaining you. It must all be one script/style because pretty much other hibachi places Ive been too have the chefs doing the same thing (the fire, tossing the food to mouths, pouring sake into mouths, etc) which is cool when you think about it, but it could get repetitive if you frequent hibachi. The hibachi chefs here are comical, friendly, open, and great at what they do. The food always comes out tasting delicious. The pricing is a bit up there if youre going for dinner (an average of $20+ per person), but they have nice lunch special deals for their regular menu and hibachi. The money spent is worth the food and experience though. Their sushi is very delicious and presented beautifully. It tastes very fresh which is always a good thing; needless to say Im impressed. The staff here is also very friendly as well as professional. Its wonderful to see such an excellent hibachi restaurant here in this area, and I hope it never goes away.

It is amazing. I got the general tsos chicken Ken both times, my fiancé got the teriyaki salmon both times. She got a mango Margarita the second time and it was easily one of the beat margaritas Ive ever had in my life. What a sleeper restaurant this is! Highly recommended!
