People have to make money not give the food for free folks.Service- super fast. Ty👍For all the negativities- look at the pictures they post- the food look good. Comment: I go here for lunch every now and then. Its a decent place and there sushi is generally on point and I like there gyoza. I do however DO NOT recommend ordering the katsu don pork. It is bland, doughy and very tasteless. I was expecting a crispy pork like Ive had in Japan but this was not what I was expecting. I still recommend this place but again Id recommend to stay away from ordering there katsu don.

Comment: A great sushi spot. The fish is always fresh and the staff is always friendly. My son and I have been going to this place for years. They always remember us and always comment on how big my boy is getting. The menu is extensive and they always have changing specials. Today was a roll they called the Mexican Roll. Salmon and jalapenos inside with avocado outside. Really tasty with a slight kick!

Comment: I ordered delivery from Sakura. Great sushi rolls, sashimi, seaweed salad, and miso soup. The soy sauce could have been packed better though. Most sushi restaurants give you a few round plastic containers with soy sauce; Sakura gave me a few empty containers plus about twenty tiny packets of soy sauce. Took a bit to empty all of them into the containers.

Comment: Smallish Chinese owned Japanese spot in Howard Beach. Currently no liquor license (so BYOB;-) nice cuts of sashimi, rolls are hit or miss. I never really understood rolls in the first place,usually to much 🍚 and not enough fish. Ask any of my exs, this Duck is ALL about the Fish😋. Best bet is to get a couple of kitchen sushi apps,Like Pepper Tuna, or the Cerviche( Sweet Knife Skills & Muy Beuno flavor). Follow that with a sushi or sashimi platter. Ironically I was there twice this week, and understand it gets busier in the evening for dinner. That being said I would recommend it for Lunch as that being cheaper and less of the Im paying more for this fish than the ambience and service would commend type of scenario.
