Comment: The food is better than we hoped. My wife and I both agree, this is the best Sushi place in the area. The only thing better than the food here are the people. Just this past weekend we arrived during a rain storm, they were going to close early but when they saw we wanted to come in they stayed open and took great care of us!

I highly recommend this place to people who are looking for good sushi made fresh and delicious entrees. We Went here for my birthday lunch, had an assortment of sushi that was presented so perfectly and melted with flavor - absolutely exquisite! There are other delicious options to choose from for the non sushi lovers. The restaurant although small was warm and inviting, the hostess was kind and wonderful, the chef was skilled. Had a great time, we will be returning soon. Thank you Sakura! What an exceptional experience!

Comment: I got the california roll and the burning sun roll. very good food and service. it gets expensive depending on how hungry you are and how many things you want to try. we also had fried shrimp dumplings and strawberry mochi. both incredible. i found my new date spot!

Comment: An amazing place to eat sushi in my opinion . Me and my wife ordered the sushi boat and I am happy to say that the quality of the fish was spectacular. The rice was perfectly cooked and the service was amazing. The only downside wish I dont consider to be one but other people might is that the food will take some time due to one sushi chef . However this is not an issue for me and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for sushi in its purest form and not fusion rolls

Comment: This place is one of the best restaurants in Broome County, and Im consistently surprised at how few people know about it. Unassuming from the outside in its location in Endicotts Price Chopper plaza, everything about Sakura is a bit understated, but the food is stellar. Their menu features an impressive variety, considering the size of the restaurant, and no matter what you order, the fish always tastes fresh. The preparation and plating makes you feel like you should be paying big bucks, but their prices are fair and portions are generous. The restaurants decor is in someways typical of a sushi restaurant, but Sakura also features contemporary art pieces that give the decor a more personal feeling. The chef is always busy, but takes a moment to welcome guests when he isnt intensely focused on his work. The woman who runs the house welcomes guests as if they were all regulars. I cant say enough about Sakura. If you havent been and you live anywhere near Endicott, NY, treat yourself to the best sushi restaurant in the Southern Tier.

Comment: Beautiful modern Japanese style atmosphere... But I fix my own raw fish so the expense is hard to justify. Sakura is always empty when I go there maybe once a year. Only once did I share the counter w/other customers. But the food is always excellent &fish is always fresh. Many people believe that if a restaurant doesnt attract customers something is wrong w/it. That is simply not so. Many fine restaurants have gone out of business in this areas economy.
