Comment: The hibachi show is always a large part of the meal. The food is excellent.But BEWARE: check your bill carefully!The first bill will include an 18% gratuity, which is reasonable. However, when your credit card is returned for your signature, there is a space requesting a tip.My friend didn’t think to read her bill and accidentally double-tipped, which included a percentage of the gratuity already billed. So she also tipped ON THE GRATUITY AND TAX.If you don’t mind tipping roughly 40% of your bill, feel free. Be aware that this dubious practice seems to be standard.Ratings: the service is excellent, but the tipping is questionable.The place is years old and it’s beginning to show.

Comment: We drive over an hour to eat here, some of the best sushi I’ve ever had- sooo many sushi selections and the hibachi is amazing too. We’re attempting to try the entire menu and we haven’t had one item come out bad so it’s hard to choose but I recommend the crunchy rolls, eel rolls and tamago (egg sushi) / the banana Maria rolls are also very good- not quite a dessert but a tiny bit sweet and spicy. Staff is lovely and service is fast!

Comment: Great location and food was excellent. Plenty of parking. Place was very busy. We made reservations a week ahead of time. The chef was phenomenal and fun. I had the scallops hibachi. My husband had the shrimp and chicken. Everything was delicious.

Comment: Delicious all around. No wait on a weekend night is unbelievable.Common appetizers (Gyoza, Miso soup, and Ginger salad) were all better than average.Sushi was phenomenal. Learn how to use chopsticks and order all of it.No liquor. 😭

Comment: Overall the experience was not bad. They seated us quite fast but then took a while to grab our order after getting us the drinks. The food did make up for it though. I love the Godzilla Roll that they had. Never had duck here but would definitely order it again. My girlfriend got an assortment of rolls and they all were great as well.In the past when we came we did try the hibachi side and we all enjoyed that.

Comment: This restaurant is the definition of heavenly, n the decor is magnificent from the paper dragons to the Zen lanterns. The food is beyond the definition of exquisite cuisine, not only do they give free soup before your meal, but the delicious taste of the sushi is beyond words. Saukura Japanese Steak Hibachi is Heaven on Earth.

Comment: Very good sushi. If you like sashimi this is the place to go they give you excellent sized pieces. Have never had a bad experience here. Kitchen entree dishes are very good as well. Something for everyone. Have never done the hibachi side but from what I’ve seen they do a great job.

Comment: This was a good place for a great meal. We had a slight wait at the door for someone to notice us. We decided to try the hibachi grill tables. It was a fun experience to watch others. A little less fun when its your turn. But I played along with it in good fun. The food was amazingly tasty. The service was lacking at time by the server girls. The very deep Japanese accents make it hard to understand everyone, but the important one was the cook. Im not really one to spend $75+ on a dinner for 2, but if you must and dont want to visit the city or malls, then give this place a try. The hot tea was delicious as well.
