Comment: I only really know WNY sushi and I consider this to be the best. Their rolls and sashimi are always fresh and tasty. Authentic Wasabi (not colored horseradish) and fresh ginger help to make the meal, also. A friend who spent years living in Japan will only eat here when he wants Japanese food.Update 5-2023: While the ownership had changed the atmosphere is similar and the food is just as good.

Comment: Very good food. The bento box is a very awesome value. Someone had said it doesn’t come in an actual box which isn’t true. We received ours in an authentic Japanese style bento box. Tempura was delicious. Gyoza were delicious. Calamari was delicious. Was greeted by two employees. When leaving the owner made sure to thank us and say good bye as well as the guy making sushi. Server was efficient and friendly

Comment: This is one of my new favorite restaurants in the area. I really loved the intimate and elegant atmosphere, the friendly and attentive service, the beautiful dishes, and the abundance of vegetation options.In particular the dressing they use on their salad is really good. I also got the teriyaki salmon which was outstanding, delicious and filling. The green tea was well brewed and the server filled my cup frequently without being asked.I honestly would recommend this restaurant to just about anyone.

Comment: Omg! Great choice for our 16th Anniversary dinner. First time here and it was the best food I have had in a long time . Kani salad was amazing as well as the Hibachi Chicken and Pad Thai. Comment: One of my favorite restaurants, Samurai is finally open for dine-in seating. The staff are wearing gloves and masks and thoroughly washing tables between visitors. My wife had a vegetable udon dish, while I had some sushi and negimaki (think of it as a beef sushi). It was great to be back. Laurie, our host seemed very eager to make sure we were happy with our meal. I know going out to eat is a minor event in our lives. However, it takes us one step closer to returning to what we know as normal. If you are in the area of Transit Road, please enjoy a meal here. You wont be disappointed

Weve had meals where each persons entree is brought out one at a time over the course of an hour. I know its a small thing to mention, but the restaurant is quiet, so you can actually hold a conversation with your fellow diners. Comment: This place is just incredible. Best sushi I have ever had and nowhere else compares! My girlfriend and I visit here at least twice a week lol. Service is always friendly and again, the food is Phenomenal and the price is very reasonable! Definitely the place to go for sushi!

Comment: This is by far the best sushi restaurant I have been to in Buffalo. The taste of the food doesnt compare to anywhere else I have been. The waitress which I think is the owner also is so nice and we love coming back wiht the whole family. Never once had a bad experience. Been coming for for years now.

Comment: This place makes excellent sushi and the prices are very reasonable. Its one of the best sushi places Ive visited. The service was very nice and were even able to accommodate my girlfriend who is allergic to shell fish.
