Comment: Very nice popular place...took my son for his birthday. Tell them ahead of time if you dont want your veggies/fish cooked on top of meat juices on the grill. Also the meal can be very salty!! They put both salt and soy sauce on the food. Otherwise very nice food.

Comment: We came here to celebrate Fathers Day as we thought it would be a fun experience and it definitely met our expectations.Atmosphere: The place is nice and clean and pretty big in size. They have a hibachi section but also a regular area as well. The decor is nice. In the hibachi section there is a lot of hibachi areas so it makes for a nice set up where you dont feel crowded.Price: Fairly reasonable priced especially for the portion size. We got a salad with our Hibachi plate which was nice.Food: We got the veg gyoza which was good but it didnt stand out either. The Fried Tofu Bao was amazing! I would go back just for that. It was well flavored and the spicy mayo and bbq sauce went well with it. The vegetable hibachi exceeded expectations. Some of us got the noddles and others got the rice and in both causes the sauces and flavors were spot on. The only caveat was that they couldnt make it spicy for us but did give us sauce on the side.Service: Service was great. Comment: Went in a bit before last call, so we missed the hibachi side.Very good sushi (more than rivals places back home in socal). Portions were extremely filling for the price. I cannot recall the name of the roll, but the one with no rice contained so much fish that I cant believe it was under $20.

Comment: The food is excellent no matter whether you get a table or right at the hibachi grill, but if you happen to take in the show with your meal than you are in for a treat! The appetizers and sushi selection is great, as well as the beverage and cocktails options. The show the hibachi chefs put on is great entertainment with your meal. Service is fantastic from the moment you walk in. Prices are reasonable, especially for Huntington village. I always recommend it when friends come to visit!

Every time, they were unable to accommodate me with another time even close to the time I needed. Other than that everything is nice and clean, and the food is fresh and delicious.

Comment: Update #2: First time back eating here in person again since before the pandemic. We tried to come a few weeks ago (also a Saturday night) but couldnt get in because they were booked. We did a hibachi night tonight (with reservations) and it was as fun as ever and we enjoyed being back. We did curbside takeout through the pandemic, but it just tastes better when its fresh off the grill! Glad theyre still in operation and thriving, so it seems based on the crowd. Do yourself a favor and make reservations or youll miss out.Update #1: Still loving this place years in since we first went in person, and months into the pandemic, during which weve done takeout. Theyre still offering curbside pickup, which is super convenient now that parking is getting harder in the village as more people are going out again. Tonight I ordered and went to do curbside pickup. It was taking a little longer than they had estimated, so the server came out to let me know. When he came out with my food, he also comped me a free sake for my time waiting. I thought this was such a nice touch. Really appreciate that they valued my time and thank them for doing the right thing for their customers! :) This will always be a good business decision!Heres my former review, still valid:We go here for the hibachi every time our daughter passes her TKD belt test. The servers and hibachi chefs are friendly and accommodating. Hubby and I order takeout sushi from here at least once or twice a month. Good selection and theyll even bring it to your car if you call in once you arrive. Good stuff.

Comment: I really enjoy Japanese hibachi!I went there last week on Mothers Day, and I ordered an assortment of vegetables while my family ordered either steak or chicken (along with shrimp which is really good. I only like some seafood in Asian cuisines like that!) I also ordered a Blue Tokyo which is ok.(The rum is pretty strong so I didnt finish it). We were given soups and salads before starting and I loved that part because its a perfect way to start. The waitress is nice, and our chef is nice!Bottom line: Atmosphere is nice, staff is nice, food is fantastic, just the drink is too strong for me.But I definitely recommend it!!

Comment: Been going to samurai for years and it consistently has the BEST and freshest sushi on Long Island. I know you wouldnt expect it from a hibachi restaurant but it really is. Their hibachi is great too and you can tell all the fish and all the ingredients are high quality. The owners and staff are very accommodating and nice as well. Tuna Hana roll is my favorite but even regular rolls and sashimi are exceptional and for a reasonable price!!

Comment: Went here for a celebratory new years day dinner. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed. We werent pressured to start our order and started with a delicious dragon roll of sushi. The chef was entertaining and comedic. He did the classic bit where the food is tossed up to guests and diners. Also very generous with the sake. After he was done cooking our meal we sat and enjoyed for quite some time. My table ordered a mix of all choices and from it the Chilean sea bass and steak were the favorites. The lobster was a little on the small side for a 5oz portion and may not be best served hibachi. No fault to samurai on that just an opinion of taste. Anyways I will definitely be going again and would tell my friends to take all their dates there.
