Comment: I love this place. I have been going here with family and friends for over 4 years and each time it got better. They are very sanitary and are very friendly if you needed help with something. There is a variety of food on the menu. The sea food is fresh and tastes great. Everything is neat and you can watch them make the sushi which I think is interesting. Even though the it go a little more expensive it is still very very fair. You can go with your friends and there is not that long of a wait.

Jennifer is ever-friendly and ever-helpful and it is very nice to have small conversation while your food is being prepared. She gives your kids extra attention and makes everyone feel special. Once, my kids were fighting over the mango strips in the sushi and Jennifer overheard it from a distance away and immediately sent a plate of mango strips to the table! Recently, we bought takeout from the restaurant and were surprised to find a $20 gift certificate inside addressed to my husband by name. She truly is a gem in the neighborhood. Of course, the food is always excellent!

Comment: Went here when visiting some friends in Brooklyn short walk from their apartment very good sushi lots of sushi for a great price Im from Connecticut gross I know but sushi is very expensive however the sushi here was it deal I could not resist we got the dinner sample I think it was coming it was like eight rolls and two specialty rolls for $60 not bad at all on top of two plates of noodles and teriyaki chicken for four people couldnt have had a better night

The owner Jennifer and her staff are sooo friendly they know all there frequent customers by name, they are always warm and welcoming and always treat you like royalty. The food is AMAZING always fresh and delicious and fast! We always order these great hand rolls Alaskan, rainbow, dragon, spicy salmon, shrimp tempura, sweet potato, tuna avocado and eel roll, the appetizers are delicious Shumai and beef negamaki are so great, the bento box is delicious and they have a deal during lunch hours I always get the chicken teriyaki its cooked so light with a little crisp and the side veggies are always perfectly cooked. They finish you off with little pineapple chunks at the end of the meal to cleanse your palette. This place is so great I love it!

Comment: My husband and I went here for his birthday dinner. We ordered the shrimp shumei for an appetizer, plum sake, and 4 rolls for the main course (2 Black Moons, 1 Lightsaber, 1 Godzilla). Everything was delicious. Sushi was fresh. Menu says Black Moon is spicy, but well ask for more jalapeños next time (we regularly eat ghost chilis 🔥😂). After dinner, the whole staff and owner sang Happy Birthday and brought him a free dessert for his special day. So thoughtful! We will definitely be back soon. My daughter enjoyed her ramen noodles and they also served her apple juice in a fun way. They were very family friendly! My daughter is almost three but she can be alot. Comment: Sake recommendations were good, the special sushi rolls were SO good...but something in the Sapporo rolls were not fresh. Two members of our party, both of whom had the rolls, felt sick after.Otherwise, service is great and normally everything tastes good.

The sushi has always been fresh and innovative.The broths are delicate and well balanced, while the udon are always cooked just right. Comment: I have been here a few times and each time has been great. The food is delicious and the price is very reasonable. Each time Ive ordered the lunch special which comes with soup or salad, rice, two California rolls, a main entree, and some wonderful fried ball of something (cant remember the name but it is very good). The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. Each time Ive been here, the owner has stopped by our table to greet us and make sure we were enjoying the meal. During the holidays, she gave us a gift bag with a bottle of sake at the end of our meal. A great neighborhood restaurant that everyone should support.

Comment: Walk into Sapporo and youre greeted by several old school booths for the small groups with a larger dining area in the rear of the restaurant with a sunlight brightening up the space. The service is warm and makes you feel doted upon but not intrusively. The food comes quickly in succession as you complete each course so as not to feel burdened by a full table. A full selection of sake, wine and the titular beer, Sapporo of course. Having spent more money on food than rent over the years, Sapporo is a great value and the food is exceptional, as is everything else. Not only would i highly recommend Sapporo, i will definitely be returning.
