Service was great as well; staff was friendly and kept checking in with us. Definitely recommend that and will come back! Rolls are also affordable as well!

They had shiso which I like with certain fish so that was a big plus too (add it to the mackeral!!!). Out of the many sushi restaurants in Staten Island, this is a personal preference. Let me take on a Sapporo Sushi adventure. First, we start off with a nice hot towel to clean your hands. It isnt moderately warm, its very hot. Then, I would get a tea, my choice would be brown rice green tea, which is very soothing, which its smell and all. Then Id probably get some miso soup, which is really good, except for the time I burned my tongue with the soup, but that was my fault. The chicken teriyaki udon noodles are very tasty, with a lot of flavor. The dragon and California rolls are very good, also. This is a very good place if its a Friday and you want to eat somewhere nice. The dark and quiet environment just adds to the perfectness of this place. The service is actually not bad at all, in fact, I go there so often that the waitresses know me personally. The prices are reasonable. And one of my favorite parts is... when they give us coffee candy with the check!!!

Comment: I came on a saturday afternoon and the service was pretty fast. We ordered their spicy salmon roll and eel avocado roll. We have to say they taste pretty authentic. The prices are reasonable. I would strongly recommend this place to those who want to have really good japanese food.

Comment: They start with a warm towel, which is a nice touch. Kani salad is very good. Sushi is good and fresh. Service is very slow. Not enough waitresses when they are busy.Other than that, the place has good food and not that expensive.

Comment: Food is always excellent when I go. Great portions that you cant stop eating.. From their kani salad, to the fried green tea ice cream its amazing. its always my personal favorite around the corner sushi spot.
