Comment: I came here about a week ago and ordered a large family dinner and I have to say, I was pretty impressed with the cashier. She was a good listener from start to finish, even when we had to make multiple changes in our order. She was quick in grasping our order and even repeated it back to us 3 times to make sure all changes were caught and precise. The waiting time was quick and when we got our food, everything was correct from what we ordered and delicious all the way till the end. I really loved this spot, especially with how small it is and its very nicely hidden. Very impressed with this location. Will be coming back to order here again.

Thats a pretty reasonable amount to spend on lunch. Parking is a huge lot. Wait time varies depending on time of day but its not too long of a wait. Decor is alright. Cleanliness, I would say is fair for a fast food location. Prices are reasonable. I would say seating is good for a fairly large group.

Comment: Summary: So far Sarku Japan has the BEST tasting chicken teriyaki in NYC!! And I tried many, many places.Venue: Since Sarku is located inside Queens Center Mall which is conveineitly located in the heart of Queens (next to LIE, subway station, and bunch of buses), getting there is so easily. Sarku has been in business for at least 10+ years, ever since Queens mall did the renovation in 2004 and built the food court in the basement level. Sarku remains to be one of the few thats still standing since the opening. They also underwent a major renovation 2 years ago to improve the NYC sanitary rating. They now have an A!!Food: In case you havent read my first sentence.. yes, IMHO, they have the best chicken teriyaki in NYC!! The meat is tender, and the sauce just tastes so good!! Sometimes the chicken might be slightly burned, but its still good. (That normally doesnt happen on the weekend because the turnover rate is so quick!) They claim they dont use MSG, but something about the sauce and the chicken meat made it taste good. I normally get #1, which is the original chicken teriyaki with white rice and veggie. I highly suggest going with white rice, because the mixing the white rice with the sauce is just purely delicous! The only downside is, the sauce can be a bit too greasy. I also tried out other food choices such as beef with mushroom, and shrimp. Theyre good, but definitely not as impressive as chicken teriyaki which theyre known for. Sometimes they also serve pre-made sushi. But I wouldnt suggest getting that in a chicken teriyaki place.The price of the food has steadily increased over the past 10 years. It used to be $6.05 with tax 2 years ago, and now its about $6.90. The extra meat option has increased from $1 to $1.59. But if you go during weekdays (Mon - Thurs), the chicken teriyaki special price is dropped by 40 cents. Good news is, they now have 2 cashier machines, and they also take credit cards (except AmEx)!! SO you dont to carry changes anymore.Service: As with all mall stalls, the service is actually quite fast. Its like an assemly line, pretty effecient. People complained about the cashier, but Ive never experienced it yet, and hope it keesps that way. During the weekends, it can get really packed and the long gets super long. But thats because the food is good!Overall, being a Queens local, I love coming here. Its reasonably priced, and you really cant go wrong with the chicken teriyaki here. My dad loves their chicken too!

Comment: Parking: Parking lotService: I have never gotten my order messed up (I have ordered both in person and via doordash). Wait time for food/order is fast.Food: The teriyaki tastes good. Comes with white rice (can be replaced with noodles), steamed vegetables (brocolli, cabbage, carrot), and a protein. The sauce comes in a separate container attached to the lid of the box for you to pour.Atmosphere: Dont see any issues with the restaurant.Verdict: Great value (especially in NYC) for food that will fill you up.
