Comment: Ordered through grubhub and picked my food up. Super quick service and was done within 15-20 mins upon ordering. Atmosphere appeared nice from what I saw however the place is small like all the restaurants here.Food lost 1 star because the miso soup was bland and had limited flavor. It tasted more like water with a little salt in it.The sushi however, which is what you are going for, is impeccable. The spicy tuna roll had a great crunch and smooth flavor. The salmon roll was light and fresh.The sushi here didn’t leave me feeling heavy which is a great thing for a quick dinner. The quality is amazing. Skip the soup, focus on the sushi

We used to only eat at one sushi restaurant in Queens, NY because it’s been hard to find a place that we love and tastes all fresh. This place is absolutely amazing. They have an option for a mango avocado roll which is our absolute favorite. They also include cucumber, and avocado in their chicken tempura rolls which is rare because most restaurants don’t add more to chicken tempura rolls. Their food is always fresh and amazing. 100% recommend that everyone tries this place!

That alone should let you know that it is pretty good since it withstood the test of time.As with all sushi places, the price can be a bit steep. However, I really had a hankering for sushi so planned to have a late lunch one day. I wandered in at about 3:45pm and was very pleasantly surprised to find that their lunch specials run until 4:00pm. For $11.50 (and of course, that price may change in the future but it likely wont jump too high), you can order three rolls and you also get a small salad or miso soup. Since not all rolls are designed for all pallets, this is an awesome way to experiment.One of the biggest downsides to this place is that it is closed on Tuesdays.This place is a good choice (especially during lunch). I give it my seal of approval.

We ordered from shobu on grub hub once just because it was the only place with good reviews close to home and weve been absolutely obsessed ever since. It really is the best sushi Ive ever had and so far no place compares. Weve also gone in to eat there and the staff is so extremely friendly. Theyre always smiling, theyre always welcoming, and they always remember our order! I always stick with sushi but my dad (who hates raw fish) ordered a seafood soup once and was blown away by how good it was, and hes not easily impressed. My skeptical sister (who thrives off disagreeing with me), also admits this is the best sushi shes ever had. Weve moved from the area but still will go out of the way and drive here at least once every couple weeks. I love this place!P.S. Ive tried almost every sushi roll they offer and I have yet to be disappointed. The special rolls are definitely worth the extra $. Everything is just so good!

Its adjacency to the 95th St R subway stairs make it an ideal location to get some grub either on-the-go or dine in after a long trek.
