Comment: I had the most amazing experience with my man at this restaurant! The ambiance was 10000/10, the food was tasty.. the waitress(Amy), was absolutely lovely and very attentive. First thing we noticed about the food was how fresh it tasted. It really was so yummy. Don’t even get me started on the dessert, I ordered the frozen ice cream where you get a choice of green tea or vanilla (I got the green tea), normally I wouldn’t like green tea anything but, I said “why not” and was not disappointed! Coming back every single time from now on. Thank you for your kindness :).

Comment: All in all food is amazing, the sashimi is fresh because they supply twice a week Tuesday and Friday which is why I get salmon sashimi on friday. Also theyre service especially on phone is terrible but the shrimp tempura roll is really good and the spider roll is good too. I ask the lady when they supply their fish because I cant eat anything raw unless fresh. So overall its good place. Might recommend to train elder staff to be polite and not rude

Comment: Visited this restaurant for the first time after my Family advised that there was a new Japanese restaurant in the neighborhood. Usually I travel as far as Sunnyside, Astoria, etc. for my sushi and thought I would try Shogun as it is substantially closer to my home than the other establishments. Although I am a new customer, I was impressed with the interior decor, friendliness of the lady at the front desk who took my order and most importantly, the quality of the sushi/sashimi combination which I ordered. Also, the price of my order was somewhat less than what I usually spend to obtain the same type of order.If the above conditions continue to be consistent, I wont have to travel clear across Queens to enjoy a quality Japanese meal!

Comment: Ive tried here 5x now since theyve opened. The food and service has been so good and consistent every time. The katsu curry is amazing. Ive had 3 different sushi rolls, everyone has been great. Steak and shrimp hibachi dinner has been perfect as well. I hope they get a liquor license soon. Thats the only thing this place is missing.From the moment you walk in, you can tell theyve invested in making their restaurant a memorable experience. The decor is so well done. The staff is always attentive. I couldnt be happier with this place. If you havent tried them out you should definitely do so soon.
