Comment: Not able to find any good Japanese so far in the last few days. 😔😔😔 suddenly want to give one more try somewhere before returning to hotel. 😅😅😅Shogun seems to be running by a local family. The time I visited was 3pm on Sunday. There were no one there except 5 kids. The one took order was a little girl around 10 to 12. I decided to take away. Afterward her mom started to preparing the food. And then a man returning....No seeing any communication between staff, but the whole thing is very smooth. 😎 The food is very fresh. the price is reasonable as here.

Comment: Quality Sushi is the best word I can express about the quality in presentation and taste. I highly recommend for rake out and in dining with family owned restaurant! I spend my birthday in my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Dont miss out on the best Sushi in Rego Park.

Comment: To be honest, reading some of these complaints, I’m a little shocked. The food was amazing and the service was great. The owners are very sweet people. I definitely recommend going there and trying it out. I hope to visit again soon

Comment: This is my favorite go-to Japanese restaurant. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. It’s also kid friendly and my kids absolutely love it. I definitely recommend this place.

Comment: This place used to be Mado Japanese. It is an average Chinese-run Japanese restaurant. Outdoor dining is available.Ive only had the sushi from here several times; each time it was fresh and tasty. I wouldnt exactly say employees here are upbeat but my experience interacting with them has been positive to neutral.

Comment: Came here twice for a quick lunch twice. Their prices are good and rolls were pretty good. I believe any 3 rolls cost 12.95. I had tako yaki which was a little bland, but still tasted ok. The staff is also very nice and attentive. It’s never crowded so you can always sit and have a meal and it’s also in a really convenient spot on Queens Blvd!

Comment: Love the food, my only complaint is that the prices are constantly changing every time they do renovations inside. For 3 person family, you’ll easily run a $50+ just on 3 meals without appetizers. it used to be affordable.

Comment: Ive ordered delivery and takeout from this place. The delivery took 35 minutes, which was close to the estimate in the app.The chicken tempura had a light, popcorn flavor and great texture. The sashimi and carpaccio were good, though maybe slightly on the plain side. The wasabi was brighter than normal, but it tasted like regular wasabi.Overall, pretty good, but the food could use a bit of inspiration.
