Comment: Shogun in Delmar is our go to sushi restaurant. We usually take out, but occasionally dine in. The service is exceptional here. They truly go out of their way to make your experience a good one. The food, whether it be sushi or other things is always good. Its always tasty and fresh. If they have the Korean Surf & Turf roll as a special, GET IT! Trust me on this. Its in the top 5 things Ive ever eaten. I wish it was a regular menu item. My other favorite roll is the Golden dream. The Pink Panther roll is great too.

Comment: I like Shogun, but… Our last meal there turned into a walk out. And it wasn’t because the server dropped all our beverages when they approached the table. It was because they seemed understaffed and overwhelmed that night. When the waitstaff’s first words when taking orders was that the sushi bar was way behind, then we knew that it was going to be a long, and soggy wait. I could be wrong, but it seemed like they’re focus may be on satisfying online orders from services like DoorDash and then their seated customer. We’ll go again but maybe not at prime time on a nice Friday evening.

Comment: The service at Shogun is exceptional. They treat every costumer like gold. The food looks like artwork and it isabsolutely delicious! Attached is a photo of the geisha rolls that I ordered. My favorite dessert is the green tea mochi. My aunt got the tempura ice cream which she loved. This is currently my favorite restaurant and I think it would be yours too if you gave it a try!

Comment: Ive been going here for almost two years now. My partner and I usually get a few sushi rolls and chicken fried rice, all of which are delicious. The fried rice is much better than others we have tried in the area. The desserts are good too, we love the green tea ice cream. Portions are larger at Delmar than the Albany one. The staff is always super pleasant. Inside is very small, but right now they are only doing takeout and delivery anyway.

Comment: Friends who were visiting from California found this place online. We live nearby but had not been here before. It really exceeded all expectations with delicious sushi, sashimi, miso soup, tempura and salads. Our friends are from the L.A. area and were very impressed by the freshness and quality. Comment: Shogun is one of the best places around to get Sushi. I used to get the Pad Thai, which is to die for. However, I can no longer eat the noodles with my thyroid condition and lifestyle changes. I have switched to the Sashimi meals when we go here. They are even kind enough to have Coconut Aminos on site as a substitute for the Soy Sauce!! It is a great atmosphere with friendly staff. Perfect for a date night or even a family night! Give it a try. You will not be diappointed

Comment: I love Shogun. Anyone who says it is not a great place to eat doesnt like Asian food. The sushi is fabulous, the pad thai is amazing, and there are so many offerings to suit so many different people. One of my sons is fairly picky, and he only eats the salmon. But he loves it. The place is very comfortable inside or outside on the patio, and sometimes has nice live music outside. You have little kids and you dont want to be at the restaurant you can certainly call in an order and pick it up, which I know many of my younger friends do. I cant say enough nice things about Shogun, and I hope that others will enjoy it as much as we do.
