Comment: Been going here for many years. We miss Mt. Fuji but the consistency here is similar. I know what I am getting when I go in. (The same thing every time). Its clean at least from what I can see and the quality is great. Best sushi in Southampton.

Comment: Some of the best I’ve had in years. In town for work and took a gamble on the sushi spot across the street from my hotel. When I walked in, I immediately regretted ordering take out and not taking a shower and putting on my good jeans to sit at the sushi bar. Took my food to my room and proceeded to enjoy one of the best sushi experiences ever. You can tell a lot about a sushi spot by their wasabi and pickled ginger, both of which were top notch. Great spicy tuna (not the kind that’s drowning in sriracha mayo, the kind with nice chunks of delicious tuna in a perfectly spicy sauce). Best salmon sashimi. Tofu in the miso soup (soup was great) was the tastiest tofu I’ve ever had. Great ginger dressing for the salad. So freaking good.

Comment: I wanted to try this restaurant out for a few years, and Im glad I was able to do so recently with a couple of friends. The atmosphere is calm, the seating arrangements are spacious, and it wasnt crowded at all when we went for dinner (I believe we arrived there around 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday).I had the chicken tempura when I went, and it both looked and tasted great. It even came with a small, decorative barrel full of lettuce and shredded carrots, which were displayed appealingly along with some other plants and leaves.The staff was very nice during our visit as well. They were prompt with the water refills, which came in handy for washing down all the wasabi and sticky rice we had. Im looking forward to trying some of the sushi next time I go.A heads up to anyone who might be self-conscious about their foot odor: they ask that you remove your shoes prior to sitting down at the booths. I kind of liked the traditional feel of doing that and I was relieved that I showered and put on fresh socks before I went there with my friends. Few things are worse than having your sushi dinner ruined by post-workout foot funk.Im definitely looking forward to my next visit to Mount Fuji. Everything about my first visit there was great; the food, the relaxing atmosphere, and the pleasant staff were all five stars.
