Comment: A GEM for Webster NY. The sushi chefs are great. Very flavorful rolls, especially the spicy tuna and sweet potato. Not overly expensive. Drinks are surprisingly good, like the blue bay cocktail. The hibachi is great too, but I prefer the normal menu. Update 2024: I think they are having difficulty finding good staff. Some of the waitresses are lazy, and the place could use a good cleaning. Food is still great though.

Comment: I called the day before to say there would be 10 of us plus a highchair for dinner at 3:00 the next day. I also asked if we could bring a cake for my son because it was his birthday and they said yes. The food was great, our waitress was amazing, and there was another adult birthday celebration near us. We had a great time! Would absolutely go there anytime we’re in town!

Comment: I took my wife and son to get some Hibachi and we had a very fun dining experience. The Hibachi Chef was super friendly and very skilled and put on a great show for us. The selection of food available is impressive and Sogo has a very classy bar as well. This restaurant is a bit pricey but its a Japanese steakhouse, most of them are. The price is not unreasonable considering the quality of the food, the service and the experience. We wont be able to Hibachi a lot but when we do, its at Sogo Japanese steakhouse. Cheers! 🥂

My husband and I are from Southern California and have been disappointed in multiple locations but this one was great!! We are thankful to have come here! Comment: Went For Dinner with the Wife and Mother in law. I had the Filet mignon steak and chicken Hibachi wife and Mother In law had the lobster and Filet mignon. Food was delicious the only reason I didnt make the review 5 stars is because the waiter forgot to add extra eggs and steak to the rice but was other wise very entertaining and professional we sat with another Family and the host made sure to get both parties involved and engaged

The place was empty except for us so I cant say how it would be if they were busy but they treated us wonderfully. One of the employees even asked if we wanted him to wait on pouring some ice as he knew it would be a bit loud. Comment: Service was great, speedy. Friendly staff, clean environment. I enjoyed the food . Wasnt a huge fan of the minced raw tuna . The rest of the dish was delicious and presented very clean with beautiful presentation . I will be taking another visit there. If you are in the webster area stop in.What I could hear, the hibachi was on point and everyone seemed to be laughing and entertained .Smiles is always a good compliment with any meal .Thank you for my first visit there.Plenty more to go .I can assure you this .

Comment: The chefs here are super hilarious and make the expierence that much better. The food is amazing, I highly recommend having the yum yum sauce with your rice, so good you wont be able to get enough!Drinks are sub par and seem to have been over poured making the cocktail not taste as smooth as it could be.

Comment: We took our kids, 4 and 6, to a hibachi steak house because weve been craving it for months. Not a great idea for young kids though right? Let me just say, the girls had a BLAST. The server was so kind and attentive and the chef was incredibly friendly and entertaining. This was our first visit and will definitely not be our last. Great job!

Comment: Very cool show, good cooking, good drinks. Nothing crazy, your standard Teppanyaki done reasonably well. The customer service, though, is impeccable - we had people with special dietary needs and they were prompt, courteous and accommodating. Come for the food, STAY for the service!

Comment: Ive had over 20 of their sushi rolls and can say they do a very good job. The sashimi is fantastic and Im now a loyal customer. That being said, I tried their mango beef fried rice for take out and was blown away, it was delicious. Im going there now to pickup more and its -3 outside, real feel -26. Its that good.Im not giving them four stars though because they tend to be a bit pricey.

Comment: I loved this place. Service was great and we were shown to our table immediately. Every person working in the restaurant were extremely helpful and friendly. The Hibachi chef was engaging in conversation and was very entertaining. There were also some birthdays going on and the restaurant has a pretty cool/funny routine for birthdays. If you have not been to a Hibachi style restaurant, I highly recommend it.
